"Hey! Goku! I'm talking to you!"

"Hmm?" Goku slowly opened his eyes to see Jaco looking down at him. "Ow! What's going on?" He sat up and rubbed his head.

"Our stun guns pack a punch huh?" Jaco replied.

"Oh it's you, Jaco!" Goku realized.

Both Mae and Vegeta woke up as well, their heads hurting. They both groaned as they looked to see Goku and Jaco.

"I'm not sure why he brought you three when Majin Buu would have been enough," Jaco said.

"Brought?" Goku repeated.

"Where are we?" Mae asked.

"This is our HQ for our super elite organization, The Galatic Patrol," Jaco answered.

"Galatic Patrol you say?" Vegeta looked frustrated.

"I apologize for being rough with you," the man who attacked them before said. "You didn't seem to be in any mood to listen to reason."

"Tch," Mae scowled, glaring at him.

"So, who are you?" Goku asked.

One of the partolmen spoke up, "As our number one elite agent Merus here manages 104 sectors."

"Thats a few more than me," Jaco said.

"Oh? How many do you manage, Jaco?" Goku asked curiously.

"Um...Three," Jaco answered.

"That's a lot more," Mae said.

"If he's so elite, what does he need from Buu?" Vegeta sneered.

"Right, due to our negligence an evil criminal has broken out of galatic prison," Merus explained. "To recapture this villain we need help from a certain individual."

"Who's that?" Mae asked, while Goku nodded, also wanting to know.

"Spit it out already," Vegeta said impatiently.

"Someone who sleeps within your Majin Buu," Merus said. "The great Supreme Kai."

"The Supreme Kai?" Mae raised a brow.

"Ten million years ago, the supreme Kai fought the villain Moro. He was said to have strange magic. The Supreme Kai used most of his power to seal this magic away. However he was still a capable fighter even without his magic," Merus explained. "He was sentenced to dead however no one could actually kill him. Instead he was given life imprisonment."

"This Moro is still alive after ten million years?" Vegeta asked.

"Yes," Merus nodded.

"Wow that guy is old," Goku said.

"And he managed to escape," Mae furrowed her brows.

"That's right," Merus said. "It's likely that Moro has regained his magic, so we need the Supreme Kai's power to capture him once again."

"What does that have to do with Buu?" Vegeta questioned.

"Five million years after Moro's capture, the Supreme Kai was absorbed by Majin Buu," Merus answered.

"Woah, did you know that, Vegeta?" Goku asked the prince.

"No," Vegeta replied curtly.

"Our only hope is to somehow extract the Supreme Kai's power from within Majin Buu," Merus said.

"Hmph," Vegeta scoffed.

"Does he really have this kind of power?" Mae wondered.

"Whatever your plan, it wasn't that stun gun that put Buu to sleep," Vegeta said. "He was asleep before then. It could be days before he wakes."

One of the patrolmen tried to go and wake the sleeping Majin Buu, however he ended up getting tossed into one of his partners.

"Nothing will wake him up?" Jaco asked Goku.

"That's just the kind of guy he is," Goku said.

"That is a problem," Merus said. "But, we haven't found Moro's location yet so we are still on standby."

"Oh!" Goku exclaimed. "Why don't we help you catch this guy?"

"Wait what?" Mae looked at her father.

"Yes!" Merus nodded. "If it's not too much to ask."

"We'd be happy to!" Goku smiled. "Sounds fun right, Vegeta, Mae!" He looked between the two frowning saiyans.

"First they drag us here then ask for a favor," Vegeta scoffed.

"Yeah, I'm kinda with Vegeta," Mae rubbed her neck.

"Rumors of you three have reached us," Merus said. "You're supposedly quite powerful."

"I dunno about that since there's still stronger people in other universes," Goku chuckled.

Mae sighed, thinking of Jiren.

"We did run into another saiyan recently," Goku continued.

"Oh?" Merus asked curiously.

Goku proceeded to tell him about Broly and Bardock. Mae helped fill in a couple of additional details. She left out the fact that she died at the hands of Frieza. She still felt bitter about that.

Meanwhile, Vegeta stepped away in thought. He wondered about Merus and who he could really be. Vegeta knew he was far from weak from how he got the drop on him and the other saiyans.

"If you come this way, the galactic king is waiting to hold the induction ceremony," Merus gestured for them to follow through a door.

"Galactic king? Who's that?" Goku asked.

Mae shrugged in response as she didn't know either.

"Idiots! He was there when you fought universe six!" Jaco yelled at them.

"Oh! The octopus guy!" Goku remembered.

"I am no octopus," the galactic king frowned.

"Hey! Haven't seen you in awhile!" Goku greeted.

Jaco shouted at him and they quickly got to the ceremony.

"This induction concerns Son Goku, also known as Kakarot, his daughter Son Mae, and Vegeta IV," the king began. "You three are hereby appointed as special members of the galactic patrol. Your tenure lasts until the escaped prisoner Moro is recaptured. You will be immediately dismissed if you are found abusing your authority."

'What a shame,' Drae spoke up inside Mae's mind. Mae ignored her and continued to listen.

"Examples include cutting in line to buy dessert claiming relevance to an investigation," the king continued. "Flaunting the galatic patrol symbol in order to hit on girls," he looked at Mae. "Or guys."

"Check it out!" Jaco held up a piece of armor. "We've got official uniforms for you as well."

All three of them made a face.

"Pass," Mae waved a hand. She felt more comfortable in her tank top.

"Yeah, no thanks," Goku shook his head. "That looks hard to move in."

"We won't force you," Merus said. "But the rules state that you do need to bear our symbol."

Three patrolmen stepped forward and began to draw on Mae and Goku's shirts and Vegeta's armor.

"Letting this one in a life time chance pass by?" Jaco said. "You guys are idiots."

"What a waste of a good shirt," Mae looked down at the symbol.

"Tch," Vegeta tried to wipe it away.

"It's kinda embarrassing," Goku sighed.

"Well, congrats on your induction," Jaco smiled. "As your galactic patrol superior I'll be showing you the ropes. First our victory poses," he said as he posed.

"I'm not doing that," Mae said.

"Can we skip the poses?" Goku asked.

As Jaco continued to show more, some patrolmen ran down the hall.

"What's that about?" Mae asked.

"What's going on?" Merus asked the patrolmen.

"Agent Merus!" One of them stopped. "The macareni siblings have stolen something again!"

"Again?" Merus frowned. "They never learn."

"Who's that?" Goku asked.

"They're a bunch of punks and who're always breaking the galatic law," Jaco said.

"We still have some time," Merus said. "So I'll go and resolve this myself."

"Great!" The patrolman exclaimed. "Nothing to worry about if you're on the scene."

"Going somewhere?" Mae asked.

"Pardon me but I'll be back soon," Merus said. "Please wait here in the meantime."

"I'm going as well. I want to see what you're made of," Vegeta said. He looked at Mae, "you're coming as well."

"Uh, sure," Mae nodded.

"Good idea!" Goku said. "I'm coming too!"

"As you wish," Merus smirked.
