Mae and Goku sped to see Master Roshi, he was the last one they needed to join their team. Goku informed Mae that he knew Piccolo would join. "How do you know for sure?" Mae asked him.

"Cause I already asked him. I saw him earlier and told him everything. He said he would get Gohan back to his original strength too." Goku explained.

"Wow, do you think he can manage that? Gohan has been out of practice for a while. Even I noticed he should have faired better against Lavender." Mae said, as much as she loved her brother she knew he wasn't the same fighter he used to be. "To be honest, Gohan has me the most worried."

"Well I gave Piccolo the last two senzu beans so I'm sure he's going to put Gohan through some serious training. If anyone can get him back it's Piccolo." Goku said. He wasn't worried about his son in the least.

"Hmm yea you are right." Mae said thinking about her own mentor. She knew Vegeta was going to kill her when he learned the truth about the Tournament.

When they arrived at Kame House they found that Master Roshi wasn't there. "He went to Tien's dojo." Oolong told them.

"Wow Tien has a dojo?" Mae asked in surprise.

"Yea he has a lot of student too from what I hear." Oolong continued. "Master Roshi is there as an honorary master."

"In the short time we haven't see Tien he became a master. That's quite impressive." Goku said. "Well I guess we better head there then."

"Mhmm." Mae nodded in agreement. Oolong told them where the dojo was and they set off immediately.

"Hey Tien!" Goku said as he and Mae landed in front of the monk.

"So these are your students." Mae said taking a look at the men. Their heads were shaved and they were wearing green gis.

"Hello Goku and Mae!" Tien said then he turned to his students, "Okay that's all for today."

Goku and Mae watched as the students exited the area. "You really have a lot of students." Goku said.

"While I was training here people started to gather and I couldn't turn them away." Tien explained.

"Well good for you Tien!" Mae said excitedly. "Good to see you still training."

"Haha thanks Mae." Tien smiled at her. "So what brings you two here?"

"We are actually looking for Master Roshi." Goku said.

"Ahh. Well currently he is training a new student. If you want we can have some tea while we wait." Tien said leading them into a room.

"Thank you," Mae said as she sat down taking the cup from him.

"Are you going to have Master Roshi train you?" Tien asked handing Goku a cup as well.

"Well the thing is that there is a tournament coming up and we need one more person for our team." Mae said.

"We figured since Master Roshi has experience with tactics and tricks he would make a good addition." Goku added.

"Ahh I see that makes sense." Tien nodded. "What sort of tournament is it?"

"It's a tournament with ten people from eight different universes." Goku said.

"So kinda like that one you did with universe six?" He asked.

"Kinda, only this one is a battle royal." Mae said.

"Wow so eighty people all in one ring." Tien pondered.

Before they could reply someone was banging on the dojo doors, "Master Tien! Your students are wreaking havoc on the town!"

"What?!" Tien stood up nearly knocking the table over. They ran out and ran into Master Roshi and Chiaotzu.

"Master Roshi come with us!" Goku said as he reached a hand out. Mae, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Roshi all grabbed onto Goku and he used his instant transmission to bring them to the town.

"What the hell?" Mae asked in shock at the chaos around them. Smoke and fires were popping up. The same students they saw earlier were flying past causing destruction. They had a strange purple aura with a seal on their forehead.

"Witchcraft." Roshi said. "Someone is using witchcraft on them. We have to remove the talismans from their foreheads."

"I got this!" Chiaotzu said as he sent an energy beam at the students only for it to be deflected off. "What?! My psychic powers aren't working!"

"You dummy! It'll take more than that!" A strange girl shouted from the rooftop.

"Yurin?! This is your doing?!" Tien snapped at her.

"Haha! I'm going to ruin your dojo's reputation and then I'm going to defeat you, three eyed baldy!" Yurin laughed.

"I recognize you. You were at the crane school with us weren't you?" Tien asked her.

"Yes I did! After you left I went through difficult training and I mastered witchcraft just so I could defeat you!" She put her hands on her hips.

"You are really doing all of this over something so, so trivial?!" Tien asked in shock.

"It may seem like nothing to you!" She said, "but to me it's a huge, huge deal!"

"Here leave this to me," Master Roshi said stepping in front of Tien. "You don't know how to handle women anyway."

"I'll back you up." Mae said standing next to him. She knew how the old man could get when it came to girls.

"Fine." Roshi nodded, "Goku, Tien, go knock out the students and take the talismans off."

"Right!" Tien and Goku said before going to deal with the students.

Mae and Roshi jumped up on either side of the girl. "I knew you were wicked when you first came in." Roshi said putting his hands behind his back.

"You dirty old man!" Yurin yelled becoming red in the face. "I'm going to beat you up so you can never touch me again!" She charged Roshi and started punching him to no avail.

"Is that supposed to be an attack?" Roshi asked simply.

"You're just an old man!" She shouted as she went in for another attack. As she ran she tripped and fell over, her skirt flying up.

"Shit." Mae swore as she ran in front of Roshi to block his view.

"Eek!" Yurin shrieked and kicked Mae into Roshi bringing them both down on the roof. "Hmph this girl seems strong I'll use her then." Yurin placed a talisman over Mae's face taking control of her body. Yurin then commanded Mae to throw Roshi off the roof.

"What the hell?" Tien said as he saw Roshi go flying. "Oh no she has Mae!" Tien ran over to where Mae and Yurin were.

"Now three eyed baldy, I'll use this girl to defeat you!" Yurin laughed. "Honjiru monjiru!"

Mae went flying straight at Tien who quickly dodged. Mae crashed into the house but it didn't seem to faze her. She was on a mission to kill Tien. Mae went in for a punch and got Tien in the stomach knocking the wind out of him.

"Honjiru monjiru," Yurin continued to chant. "Genjiru gongiru!" The spell caused Mae to unleash her full power of super saiyan blue.

"Mae stop this!" Tien shouted at her. When that didn't work he yelled as two more arms grew from his back.

"The fist of four arms?!" Yurin said in disbelief. "Girl beat up that three eyed baldy! Break him!"

Mae turned her head listening to the order. Then with lightning speed she ran and grabbed Tien's left arm and with one quick motion broke it in multiple places. Tien screamed in pain the two arms on his back vanishing. Mae went for his other arm and broke it as easily as the other one. Then she kicked him hard in the chest sending him flying into the house behind him.

As she readied a kamehameha Goku took care of the last student and finally realized what was happening. "Oh no!" Goku cried as he used his instant transmission. At super saiyan blue he was able to knock her attack away. "Tien are you okay?"

"She's under her spell." Tien said he couldn't move and his arms were in bad shape. "She broke both my arms."

"Mae I'm your opponent now." Goku yelled at his daughter.

"It doesn't matter who she fights. She's the strongest person I've ever controlled!" Yurin laughed in delight.

Goku and Mae flew at each other their punches sending sparks and shock waves against each other. "Wow Mae you really aren't holding back!" Goku smirked. "This gets me excited unfortunately we don't have time to fight like this."

"Goku you have to stop her!" Tien called to him.

"Tien I'm leaving it to you to stop that girl's movements!" Goku said as he suddenly flew up in the air. "Kaioken!"

"What? Where did he go?" Yurin asked as she was searching for Goku, Mae stopped moving.

"I'm sorry about this Mae." Goku said as he readied his attack. "Kamehameha!"

Just before the blast hit, Chiaotzu used his power to make Yurin's skirt fly up causing her to lose her grip on Mae. The attack was strong enough to bring Mae down causing the talisman on her face to vanish.

"Ahh, what happened." Mae said as she got up. "I couldn't control my body."

"Mae are you okay?" Goku said landing next to her. "That girl took control of you."

Mae could feel her anger rising. She looked at Tien and saw his shattered arms. "She made me do that didn't she?"

"Mae it's okay it's not your fault." Tien gasped.

"I'm going to kill her." Mae's anger was boiling to the surface. With intense speed she was on Yurin and grabbed her by the throat lifting her into the air.

"Mae!" Goku yelled. "Don't do this!"

"You take control of my body. Then you use me to hurt my friends." Mae was a calm fury as she started to choke the girl.

"Goku bring me to her quick!" Tien called to his friend. Goku grabbed him and brought him to where Mae was holding the girl. "Mae please stop let her go."

"You are lucky that Tien is here to save you." Mae growled as she let the girl go. "Next time you pull shit like this you may not be so lucky."

"Thank you Mae." Tien sighed. "Yurin, why don't you train here with me."

"What?" Yurin held her throat with tears in her eyes. "You'd let me train with you after everything?"

"Sure. Then you can fight me as much as you want. Well after I've healed of course." Tien chuckled.

"Okay then. But I'm going to get a lot stronger!" Yurin said determined.

"You need to apologize to my students, the town and especially Mae." Tien scolded her.

"Okay," Yurin whispered softly. "I'm sorry for everything!" She bowed to them.

"Tch whatever." Mae said leaping off the roof. "Dad don't forget why we are here."

"That's right!" Goku remembered. "Hey Master Roshi!"

"Ahh, Mae you really got me there." The old man climbed out of some rubble.

"I'm sorry about that." Mae bowed to him.

"No need to be sorry." Roshi assured her. "So Goku what did you need?"

"Will you enter the Tournament of Power?" Goku said explaining the tournament as well as the prize money and dragon balls.

"Sounds interesting. You can count me in!" Roshi agreed. With that they finally had the tenth member for their team.
