Only two universes remain in the Tournament of Power. Universe Seven led by Goku and Universe eleven led by Jiren. "The bleachers look so empty." The Grand Priest said. "Let's fix that." Suddenly the bleachers shrunk and everyone was closer.

"Wow! Everyone is together now!" The Zen-Ohs cheered.

"Is it to your liking?" He asked the omni kings.

"Yes! Yes!" They said cheerfully.

"The universes left aren't just strong but they understand what has to be done in order to survive." One of the Supreme Kais said.

Goku and Jiren walked forward, towards each other. No one else moved, as if everyone wanted to see what they would do. The breeze rushed through Mae's hair and she could feel her excitement building. She would finally get the chance to fight Jiren.

"Jiren!" Goku said once they closed the gap.

"Son Goku." Jiren replied.

Goku powered up to blue and let his power continue to rise. The arena cracked under him and the force of their power caused a wind that Mae and the others had to shield from. Everyone jumped back, Jiren and Goku both shot straight up and started attacking each other.

"Why does he always have to go first?" Mae said as she and Vegeta landed.

"What a stupid stunt." Vegeta scoffed. 17 and Gohan found themselves facing Toppo which left Frieza with Dyspo. Jiren and Goku continued to fly at each other blocking and attacking each other.

"Why do you want to be stronger?" Jiren asked as he blocked a punch.

"I dunno. Just do." Goku grinned. "Why do you wanna be stronger?"

"I seek what lies beyond strength." Jiren said as he smashed Goku into the arena.

As soon as Jiren landed Mae powered up to blue and rushed in. "Mae no fair!" Goku complained.

"You already fought him. It's my turn!" Mae laughed as she ran for Jiren. She brought her leg up and tried to kick him in the head.

Jiren grabbed her leg and looked at her, "you can't win, Mae."

"I at least have to try." She said as she kicked at his hand. He grabbed her foot and smashed her down into the ground.

"This is what you wanted right." He said as blood came out of her mouth.

"Ass." She swore at him as he threw her to where Goku was standing.

"You are up against me now, Jiren!" Vegeta said as he rushed forward.

"Mae!" Goku said as he ran to her. He helped her up, "You okay?"

"Fine. Damn he's strong though." Mae said as she wiped the blood from her mouth.

Vegeta attacked Jiren who didn't even bother to block. 'His energy is so heavy. I've never experienced anything like it.' He thought as he went in for another attack. "I have to be the one to win the super dragon balls!" He shouted.

Jiren grabbed Vegeta by his hair and drove his knee into his stomach. He then kicked Vegeta sending him crashing into the ground. "You won't win."

"Jiren!" Goku yelled as he went in to attack. Jiren attacked Goku with multiple punches, knocking him back.

"I see." Vegeta muttered as he got up. He then rushed against Jiren who did the same attack again. Vegeta saw through each move and dodged each punch. He then punched Jiren hard in the stomach. "How's that?" Vegeta grinned as Jiren looked at him in shock.

"Amazing!" Mae said in awe.

"I wonder." Whis said. "I wonder if Vegeta is trying to attain Ultra Instinct as well."

"How was he able to get through Jiren's defenses?" Krillin asked.

"Vegeta watched Jiren's movements as he attacked Goku." Whis said simply.

Jiren and Vegeta went at each other. It seemed as if Vegeta was pushing him back. Once Jiren saw an opening he sent an energy beam that pushed Vegeta back. He was trapped in the energy and soon he would fall off.

"Vegeta!" Mae yelled as she ran to try and save her mentor.

"Damn it." Vegeta said as he tried to break free of the energy. Just before he fell out he managed to cause the energy to explode.

"Are you only capable of running?" Frieza said impatiently.

"You just can't match my speed." Dyspo laughed as he made after images of himself.

"Do you really think this will work?" Frieza asked.

"I have a good feeling." Dyspo said as he brought an energy ball to Frieza's back.

Frieza's tail whipped around and grabbed Dyspo's hand, "isn't this tail so useful?"

"What?!" Dyspo gasped. He looked down and then grinned, "actually it works for me too." He then grabbed Frieza and took off running, slamming him into various debris.

17 jumped up and blasted Toppo who was making a move against Gohan. "Stop meddling!" Toppo yelled at the Android.

"Kamehameha!" Gohan attacked while his attention was on 17.

When the smoke cleared Toppo was unharmed. "What?!" 17 and Gohan said at the same time.

"What do you think about that, Beerus?" Belmod taunted.

Vegeta stood at the edge of the arena breathing heavily. Mae and Goku both ran to the saiyan prince. As Jiren approached them Vegeta swore, "Damn bastard isn't even out of breath."

"Your attacks are arrogant." Jiren said. "There isn't any purity in the self-righteous way you fight."

"I am arrogant." Vegeta laughed. "That is what my pride as a saiyan is!" He unleashed more power and readied an attack.

"Vegeta!" Mae said jumping back.

"So much energy!" Goku gasped.

"I'll never throw away who I am. Kakarot can have his ultra instinct. I will win my own way!" Vegeta yelled as the energy formed in front of him. Sparks surged around his aura as more energy was released.

"This is the power of a saiyan?!" The Supreme Kai of universe eleven asked in shock.

"This is because Jiren attacked Vegeta's pride." Piccolo said.

"I hope you don't plan on dodging this attack, Jiren!" Vegeta shouted.

"I won't." Jiren nodded.

"Final Flash!" Vegeta yelled and the energy shot forward attacking Jiren head on. Both Goku and Mae were knocked down from the sheer force. The smoke cleared and Jiren was on the ground. Vegeta started to laugh, thinking he had won.

Mae quickly got up and looked at Vegeta who was now in shock. Jiren was right in front of him with an energy ball aimed at his torso. "That wasn't half bad." Jiren said. He then trapped Vegeta in a ball of energy and Vegeta screamed in pain.

"Vegeta!" Mae screamed, she knew she couldn't help him.

The energy faded and Vegeta fell to his knees and collapsed onto the ground. Goku rushed to the saiyan. "Vegeta!"

"That's our Jiren." The Kai said. "He always surpasses his opponents.

"Vegeta's attack didn't work." The Zen-Ohs said. "Jiren is so strong."

"Warrior." Jiren said as he turned around. "Sleep."

"Vegeta should consider it an honor to be called a warrior." Belmod said. "He recognizes Vegeta's bravery."

"How arrogant." 18 said glaring down at the arena.

"Kakarot, Jiren isn't at full power." Vegeta said softly.

"You bastard." Mae said coldly as she stepped in front of Vegeta.

"You'll defend him?" Jiren asked turning to face her.

"Yes. He's my mentor. I owe him this at least." Mae growled.

"You don't seem like the one to care so much." Jiren said quietly.

"You don't know a damn thing about me." Mae said just as quietly.

'Her eyes are so cold.' Jiren thought as he stared at the saiyan.

"Mae, let's fight him together. I have a plan." Goku said as he stood next to her.

"Come then." Jiren said to the saiyans.

Dyspo continued to drag Frieza through the rubble. He came up on a pillar and smashed Frieza into it. The rocks floated up as Frieza got up and dusted himself off. "Is that all? I'm really not impressed."

"He hardly has any damage!" One of the members from universe eleven said.

"It'll take more than an attack like that to beat me." Frieza laughed as he held his hand up. "You annoy me."
