Gohan arrived at his parent's house and knocked on the door. His mother opened it and smiled at his unexpected visit. "Hello Gohan what brings you here?" Chi-Chi asked.

"Is dad home?" Gohan asked as she led him inside.

"Yes he is. He said he would do some work and bring in some money." Chi-Chi said.

As they went into the living room they saw Goku in his orange gi. "Hey Gohan!" Goku said cheerfully.

"Goku why are you wearing that?!" Chi-Chi demanded.

"I was just gonna train a little!" Goku said taking a step back.

"You are impossible." Chi-Chi sighed.

"Hey dad can you do me a favor?" Gohan asked his father.

"What's up?" Goku asked.

"Can you take these back to Mae?" Gohan held out the button and communicator.

"I think she's in universe eleven. Why don't you just take them yourself?" Goku asked him.

"I really don't wanna see her right now." Gohan frowned.

"You two are still fighting?" Chi-Chi asked.

"Yea. I'm really mad at her decision." Gohan said. "She chose strength over her family. She's putting us all in danger."

"You really think that?" Goku asked.

"Of course. Mae is always been about growing stronger." Gohan said.

"Yea but with her own hard work." Goku said. "She's worked to build her strength. I know for a fact she wouldn't take the easy route and gain strength she didn't work for."

"Then why did she choose to keep Drae alive?" Gohan scowled.

"I dunno. Why don't you go and ask her." Goku said putting his hand on his sons shoulder. "This is your twin. You should know her better than anyone."

"She threatened my family. I just don't know if I can forgive her choice." Gohan said looking away.

"Well you should at least take those back to her. Since you were the one who took them in the first place it's best if you bring them to her." Goku sighed.

"Fine." Gohan gritted his teeth.

Mae put her face in the water letting the shower run over her body. Jiren had been training her how to use her ki better. She wasn't as good as he was but she was getting there. While they trained she knew that he was holding back against her, but she figured he was trying to draw out her power slowly.

She washed her face and turned the water off. She grabbed her towel and dried her body. She wrapped the towel around herself and walked out into the bedroom. Her hair was still dripping as she grabbed her clothes.

"Did you have a nice bath?" Jiren asked her.

"Yea." Mae said as she pulled her clothes on. She took the towel and dried her hair, causing it to spike up even more. Jiren let out a little chuckle and Mae looked at him. "What?"

"Nothing." He shook his head.

"Uh huh sure." Mae said as she fixed her hair.

"I love you." Jiren said putting his hands on her waist. He bent down and kissed her.

"I love you too, Jiren." She blushed wrapping her arms around his neck.

Suddenly Gohan appeared in their room. "Mae, I wanted to return these." He said holding her button and communicator.

Jiren and Mae separated from each other. "Gohan we weren't expecting you." Jiren said as Mae walked up to her brother.

"Thanks." Mae said taking them from him. She could tell he was still angry with her. "How are pan and Videl?"

Gohan looked at her with cold eyes. "You don't have any right to ask about them."

Mae dropped her head. "I'm sorry."

"Your need for power continues to put everyone in danger. You decided to keep Drae in you so you can have her strength." Gohan said. "You never think about anyone besides yourself."

Mae felt as if she had been slapped in the face. She looked at Gohan and then to Jiren. "You're right." She said as she turned and walked out the door.

"What is wrong with you?!" Jiren snapped at him.

"Huh?" Gohan asked.

"You idiot! Do you really think she kept Drae for power?!" Jiren said becoming furious. "She did it to save your life. That was the price! If she had killed Drae she would have killed you too."

"What?" Gohan blinked.

"Your life energy was tied to them both." Jiren said. "She made the choice to forget the prophecy and save your life. You don't know the weight of guilt she's been dealing with and then you say that."

"I..." Gohan paused.

"Why are you still standing here?!" Jiren snapped. "Go after her!"

'Damn it! Why didn't she say anything?' Gohan thought as he ran down the hall to catch her. 'I guess I never gave her a chance to explain.'

Gohan finally found Mae on the roof of the building. She was standing barefoot with her arms crossed, looking out over the city. She turned her head slightly at his approach. "Gohan." She said quietly.

"Mae I'm sorry." Gohan said. "Jiren told me."

Mae sighed and turned to face him. "I wanna show you something." She powered up to super saiyan ice, pushing her power to its maximum. "This is my full power."

"You've gotten stronger since the tournament." Gohan said as the wind blew through her long hair.

"If I kept Drae for her power don't you think I would be a lot stronger than this?" Mae asked powering down. "I didn't want you to die. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you died. Especially if it gave me power to do so."

"I should have listened to you." Gohan said. "Will you forgive me?"

"Of course." Mae said hugging her twin.

"Thanks Mae. To be honest I've missed you. It's weird not having you around." Gohan said as he wrapped his arms around her.

"Yea same here." Mae said.

Something in the distance caught Gohan's eye and he went to the edge of the roof. "What's that?" He looked out and saw a flash of light.

"I dunno. Wanna investigate?" Mae smirked.

"You don't have shoes on." Gohan said.

"Shoes are for the weak. I'll race ya!" Mae laughed as she jumped into the air.

"Oh it's on!" Gohan said as he flew after her.

They dropped down in a forest. They lowered their power levels and hid behind some trees. On the clearing ahead they saw some leather clad men moving weapons. "I wonder what they are doing." Mae whispered.

"I dunno." Gohan whispered back.

They overheard one of the men yelling at another. "You idiot! Do you want to let the pride troopers know we are here?!"

"I'm sorry Boss, I didn't mean to drop it." The man whimpered.

"Whatever. Go finish unloading." The Boss said. He was a tall man with slick black hair.

"Hey Boss! We saw two people flying this way!" Another man came running up.

"Were they pride troopers?" The Boss asked.

"We aren't sure. They weren't wearing the uniform." The man said.

"I wonder if these guys are bad guys." Gohan whispered.

"It sounds like it." Mae whispered.

"This sounds like a job for the Great Saiyaman!" Gohan said as he pressed the button on his watch.

"You're an idiot." Mae sighed. "Alright let's do this."

Gohan and Mae jumped out from the bushes. "You there! Explain yourselves!" Gohan said heroically.

"Who are you guys?" The Boss asked.

"I'm Mae and this is the Great Saiyaman." She sighed.

"You with the pride troopers?" The Boss asked.

"No." Mae said. "Who are you guys?"

"We are space pirates. We are here to destroy the pride troopers." The Boss grinned.

Mae burst out laughing. "Space pirates?! Oh man that's great. Good luck defeating Toppo and Jiren."

"Mae we are gonna stop them." Gohan said.

"Don't you think it'll be more funny if Jiren did?" Mae laughed.

"Just help me out here." Gohan said.

"Hey!" The Boss yelled at them. "Who do you think you are laughing at us, little girl?!"

"I'm the saiyan Mae." She said cracking her knuckles. "I guess we can kick their asses."

"See I knew you would help." Gohan smirked. Together they made quick work of the pirates and left them unconscious.

"I'll call Jiren so he can take care of these guys." Mae said pulling out her communicator. Within a few minutes Jiren sent some people to apprehend them.

"That was actually kinda fun." Gohan laughed.

"Yea it was. We should have more adventures like this." Mae said putting her hands behind her head.

"I wouldn't really call this an adventure but okay." Gohan laughed.

"Fair enough." Mae said.

"I wish I could stay longer but I gotta get home to Videl." Gohan said as he switched back to his regular clothes.

"Here I'll take you back to our universe." Mae said as she grabbed Gohan. She pressed her button and they appeared outside Capsule Corp. "I'm really glad you came."

"Me too." Gohan said hugging her. "Well I'll see ya soon!"

"Yea!" Mae waved to him and she headed back to universe eleven.

When she arrived back in Jiren's room he came up to her. "I'm glad you and Gohan made up."

"Same here." Mae smiled.

"Also thanks for taking care of those guys." Jiren said.

"No problem. I was gonna leave them for you and Toppo but Gohan insisted." Mae smirked.

"You just wanted to see them fight against me." Jiren laughed.

"Yea I did." Mae said leaning into him.

"You are ridiculous." Jiren teased.

"Yea but you love me." Mae said standing on her tip toes to kiss him.

"That is true." Jiren said kissing her back.

"Come on I'll make us something to eat." Mae said walking to the kitchen area.

"Sounds great." Jiren said.
