King Zain walked into the dungeon. The cell door creaked open as he went to see his prisoner. "So you were a member of the Frieza Force."

The prisoner looked into the dark but he could only see the man's silhouette. "Y-Yes I was before Frieza killed everyone. I-I managed to escape."

"Tell me what you know about the saiyans." King Zain commanded.

"I don't know much." The prisoner said.

"Where are the survivors from Planet Vegeta's destruction?" The king asked.

"I know two saiyans took up residence on earth. That's where Frieza took us all. He wanted revenge on the one named Goku." The prisoner explained.

"Who is the other saiyan?" The king asked.

"P-Prince Vegeta." The prisoner said.

"So the prince survived. Tell me, were there a pair of half saiyan twins?" King Zain asked.

"I don't know if they were twins but there were two half-breeds. One male and one female, they seemed about the same age. Frieza particularly hated the female." The prisoner said.

"Excellent thank you for your honesty." Zain said as he opened the cell door.

"Will you let me go now?" The prisoner asked.

"Not quite." Zain said as he closed the door leaving the prisoner in the dark.

"Your Majesty we have the teleportation device ready. Did he tell you where the saiyans are?" A tall man with brown hair came walking up.

"Thank you Aric. Yes he was most helpful." King Zain said running a hand through his hair. "They are on a planet called earth."

"Excellent. We will have the coordinates put in right away." Aric said as he turned away.

"Once you are finished meet me in the throne room." The king commanded.

"Yes sire." Aric bowed and quickly walked away.

Shortly after, Aric came to the throne room and saw the king sitting on his throne inspecting a dagger with a purple blade. "Aric is everything ready?"

"Yes sire." Aric bowed.

"Read the prophecy to me again." The king said turning the blade in the light.

Aric pulled out a scrap of paper and began to read, "A pair of half saiyan twins will be born. The male chooses his other half while the female walks the path of the saiyan. As she grows so too does her darkness. With the dagger her darkness will be given new life. The one who holds the dagger controls the saiyan. When the twins meet in battle one will give their life and when the blood touches the earth they both shall lose."

"Yes I have a strong feeling we will find her on earth." King Zain grinned. "Let us depart."

On earth while Mae was waiting for Goku and Vegeta she was talking with Jiren. She held the communicator watching his picture in the circle. "I'm going to train with Whis and Lord Beerus for a while." She said.

"I suppose that means I won't be seeing you for a bit." Jiren smirked.

"I suppose not. Maybe I'll be stronger than you when I'm done." Mae grinned.

"Ha you can try." Jiren laughed. "Alright I'll let you go then. Have fun training."

"Thanks I'll see you when I see you. I love you." Mae said blowing him a kiss.

"I love you too." Jiren said as he hung up.

Mae pocketed the communicator and walked over to where Whis and Beerus were enjoying a meal. Vegeta was leaning up against the wall while Goku was begging Beerus to hurry.

"Don't tell a god to hurry up!" Beerus warned.

"But I wanna train!" Goku complained.

"I told you to wait!" Beerus snapped.

"Those two." Mae laughed as she walked over to Vegeta.

"Did you say goodbye to your boyfriend?" Vegeta asked.

"Did you say goodbye to your wife?" Mae smirked.

"Hmph." Vegeta scoffed.

Suddenly two men appeared before them. One was a tall man with a rusty-brown colored hair. The other was a middle aged looking man with black hair, streaked with grey. His apparel was very regal and colored blue and black. He had a pin on his chest with four crossed arrows. He looked around and then right at Vegeta. "Are you the saiyan prince Vegeta?"

"I am." Vegeta said. "Who are you?"

"I am King Zain from planet Lync. I have traveled very far to meet the last remaining saiyans." He said smiling, his bright blue eyes had a gleam that Mae didn't like. "I've always wanted to meet a saiyan and when I heard about the destruction of planet Vegeta, I thought that chance was forever lost."

"Who's that guy with you?" Mae interrupted.

"This is my assistant, Aric." King Zain said as Aric stepped forward and bowed. "Are you a saiyan as well?"

"Yea I am." Mae said putting her hands on her hips.

"She's technically half saiyan." Goku said. "Vegeta and I are full saiyans though."

"Oh I see." Zain said. "Who might you be?"

"I'm Goku. Mae is my daughter." Goku said.

"What do you want?" Vegeta asked.

"Well I'll cut to the chase then." Zain said. "I wish to marry this saiyan girl."

"I'm sorry what now?!" Mae blinked in surprise.

"Since you are her prince I shall ask you for her hand. What do you say? Shall we make an alliance between our people?" Zain asked Vegeta.

Vegeta paused for a moment, "it's not up to me. Mae is her own person."

"I see." Zaid said almost disappointed. He then walked to Mae and took her hand in his. "Well my dear, will you do the honor of being my queen?"

"Uhm no thanks." Mae said. "I don't know you and I'm already with someone else."

"I see, so be it." Zain sighed. Faster than they could move Zain took his dagger and sliced Mae's palm.

"What the hell?!" Mae snapped as she jumped back.

"What did you do?" Goku asked as he stared at the purple blade.

"What's your..." Mae started to say when suddenly something snapped inside her. She grabbed her head and started to scream. A black and purple aura shot out around her as she continued to scream.

"What is happening?!" Vegeta demanded.

"I've helped her." Zain grinned.

"Mae!" Goku yelled as he rushed over to her. Once he reached her she collapsed into his arms. "Mae wake up are you okay?" He inspected her hand which had already healed.

"Who?" Mae said opening her eyes. "What is this?" She stood up and looked around. She then looked down at her hands and arms. She turned toward Goku and flashed a wicked grin. "Hello father." She powered up, her hair and aura turning a deep shade of purple.

"What did you do to her?!" Vegeta said approaching Zain.

"I awakened her darkness." Zain grinned.

Mae started to laugh. "This power is amazing! To think I've let that weakling be in control for so long."

"It seems that she is Mae but also not Mae." Whis said suddenly. "She's like a dark Mae."

"Dark Mae." Mae grinned. "Since I'm so much better I need a better name. How about Drae. Now where is my pathetic twin?"

"So she really is a half saiyan twin." Zain said relieved. 'I cannot allow her to fight her twin.' He thought.

"Shall I go find Gohan or wait for him to come to me?" Drae pondered.

"Mae what has happened to you?" Goku asked as he stepped closer.

Drae cocked her head to the side. "Don't you listen? Also I'm no longer Mae. I've left that weakling and become better."

"Drae I command you not to fight your twin." Zain ordered.

Something passed through her and she grinned, "Fine. Let me test these new powers against these two."

"Do what you must." Zain said waving his hand.

"Excellent. I hope you are ready." Drae grinned. "So who wants to go first?"

"You're my daughter, I'll fight you." Goku said powering up to super saiyan blue.

"I hope you are ready to die." Drae said unleashing even more energy.

Goku brought his hands up and Drae went in for an attack. She was incredibly fast and her blows were even stronger. She became a whirlwind of punches and kicks and it took everything Goku had just to keep up. "How have you gotten this strong?" Goku asked as he dodged an attack.

"I'm just not weak and pathetic anymore." Drae said as she sent energy blasts at Goku.

He blocked and when the smoke cleared she was gone. He turned around and there she was with an energy blast in hand. "How did you?!"

"Die!" She unleashed the energy and Goku fell to the ground. His hair went back to black as he dropped his form. She landed in front of Vegeta, "next."

"Kakarot was holding back against you. I won't." Vegeta frowned.

"Mae! What did you do?!" Gohan yelled as he came running up. He had felt the negative energy and came as fast as he could.

"Gohan my dear twin I'm so glad you could join us!"  Drae grinned.

"Drae it's time to leave." King Zain said.

"But things are just getting fun!" Drae laughed.

"I said now!" Zain commanded.

"Tch fine." Drae said walking over to him.

"Mae wait. What's happened to you?" Gohan asked placing his hand on her shoulder. He could feel the darkness coming off her skin.

"My name is Drae." She said punching him hard in the stomach. He dropped to his knees and Drae grabbed his hair. "This isn't over, brother." She let him go and he collapsed to the ground.

"Mae!" Gohan whispered as he tried to reach for her. With a flash she and the two men were gone.

"Gohan are you okay?" Vegeta asked. "Kakarot is out cold."

"I'm fine. She's probably gonna be pissed when she realizes what I took." Gohan said standing up. In his hand he had the red and black button and the communicator.
