"You want me to play what?" Mae asked.

"You and the rest of your friends are going to be playing baseball!" Beerus snapped.

"Okay but why?" Mae asked the god.

"Because I said so!" Beerus growled.

"Lord Champa wants to have a friendly match with us." Whis explained.

"Come on Mae it will be fun!" Goku added. "Even Vegeta is going to play!"

"Fine I suppose I'll play." Mae sighed brushing her hair back.

They met up with Lord Champa and his team at a baseball field that was close by. Champa had brought some fighters from his universe. Mae recognized them from the tournament, Magetta, Botamo, and the saiyan Cabba. To even out the teams Mae, Vegeta, and Goten were put on the the opposing team. Universe seven's team was made up of Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, Krillin, and Yamcha.

"Mae! It'll be great to work with you!" Cabba said excitedly.

"Tch whatever." Mae still didn't like him.

"Kakarot, even though we are on different teams don't think I'm going to lose to you." Vegeta smirked.

"Yea I won't hold back either!" Goku was getting excited.

"Okay time to huddle up!" Champa snapped at his team. "We destroyers aren't playing so it's up to you guys to win this!"

"Yea!" Their team cheered.

"Okay Mae you are up first to bat. Looks like they have Goku pitching. Can you handle this?" Champa asked.

"Sure, piece of cake." Mae said as she grabbed the bat and walked to the home plate.

"Hey Mae I won't hold back!" Goku called to her.

"You better not!" Mae yelled back.

"Now let's begin the friendly match between universe six and universe seven!" Whis announced.

"Remember! No acts of destruction are allowed!" Vados added.

"Goku give it everything you have!" Beerus yelled.

"Okay!" Goku went super saiyan blue.

"Mae you better give it all you have too!" Champa yelled.

"I will!" Mae yelled as she too went super saiyan blue.

Goku pitched the ball and it came flying at Mae with immense speed. The ball itself was burning up from the energy Goku put on it. Mae channeled energy to the bat and swung as hard as she could. The bat connected and Mae tried to knock the ball back but the force was too great. The bat was trembling in her hands and she yelled as she put more power into her swing. The bat couldn't handle any more force and shattered sending the ball flying back behind her.

"What the!" Gohan yelled as he dodged in time. The power of Goku and Mae's force created a huge crater behind home plate. Mae only had a split second to brace herself from the impact she had caused.

"Mae are you okay?!" Cabba came running over to where she was. He extended a hand to her, "let me help you up!"

"I'm fine!" She glared smacking his hand away as she got up.

"Foul!" Whis said. "Now also we said no acts of destruction."

"If we see anymore acts like that from either of you you will both be ejected." Vados scolded the saiyans.

"Yea okay," Mae and Goku sighed together.

"We want to change pitchers!" Beerus yelled suddenly.

"Hey if they can change pitchers then we want to change batters!" Champa yelled as well.

"You cannot change until the pitcher has pitched at least one batter." Vados explained as she read the rule book.

"Also you can not switch batters until they are either on a base or are out." Whis said.

"Fine," The destroyers grumbled at the ruling.

"Hey Goku go lighter next time!" Beerus yelled.

"You too Mae!" Champa joined in.

"First you want me to go all out and now you want me to go lighter. Make up your damn mind." Mae grumbled as she brought the new bat up.

"Okay softly this time." Goku said as he very lightly threw the ball. It was a wonder how the ball managed to stay up as it slowly made its way to Mae.

"You got this Mae!" Cabba cheered from where he was sitting.

"Tch, come on you stupid ball." Mae said impatiently. When the ball finally got to her she hit it as softly as she could causing it to go a small ways before falling on the ground.

"That's another foul!" Vados exclaimed.

"One more strike and you're out!" Whis told her.

"Ahh Mae that was too light!" Champa put his hand on his face. "Next time hit it harder!"

"Goku throw the ball normally then you can strike her out!" Yamcha told the saiyan.

"Right!" Goku nodded. This time he put just enough force in the pitch to send it flying at Mae. Mae hit the ball hard sending it to the outfield. She dropped the bat and started running to first base.

"I got it!" Trunks yelled as he flew up to catch it.

"Mae you are out!" Whis said as Trunks caught the ball.

"What! That's not fair!" Champa shouted.

"Well my lord, the rule book doesn't say anything against flying." Vados explained.

"Grrr fine then." Champa crossed his arms.

"We are switching pitchers now. Yamcha you are pitching instead of Goku!" Beerus snapped.

"Now this is something I'm good at." Yamcha smiled as he walked to the pitchers mound.

Mae sat down next to Vegeta and folded her arms behind her head and looked up at the sky. She really didn't understand this sport. She turned her attention back to Botamo who was up to bat. Yamcha turned out to be a skilled pitcher and Botamo was out sooner than expected.

"Teacher, I'm up now. I won't disappoint you!" Cabba told Vegeta. Before he left he smiled brightly at Mae who only scowled.

"Don't be so jealous, Mae." Vegeta said suddenly. "You are still my student."

"I'm not jealous." Mae snapped.

Vegeta looked at her and snorted before watching the young saiyan go to bat. Like Botamo, he was struck out before he could even hit the ball.

"That's three outs, change teams!" Vados and Whis said as Cabba walked back sulking.

Vegeta went to pitch and Mae took the position behind him. Yamcha stood up to bat with a cocky grin on his face. Vegeta threw the ball and hit Yamcha square in the side. "I've figured out this game. You win if you take out your opponents!" Vegeta smiled.

"Oh so that's how it works!" Mae and Goku said realizing.

"Vegeta you cannot hit the batter. Yamcha gets to walk to first base. If we see anymore of that then you will be kicked out." Whis and Vados scolded him.

"Hmph that doesn't make any sense." Vegeta glared as he repositioned himself.

"Hey Vegeta don't hold back I can take it!" Goku said stepping up to the plate.

"As if I would Kakarot!" Vegeta yelled as he turned super saiyan blue. "Take this!"

As Vegeta threw the ball Goku went super saiyan blue as well. Goku remembered how Mae shattered the bat so he took extra care to hit the ball just right. The force of Vegeta's throw was incredible and it took all Goku had to push it back. When Vegeta realized that he was pushing it back he started firing energy attacks at Goku.

"Hey that isn't fair!" Beerus yelled.

"Again my lord the rules don't say he can't do that." Whis told the destroyer.

"Final..." Vegeta started to send another attack when he realized that Yamcha was trying to steal a base. "Mae don't let him get to second!"

"Right Vegeta!" Mae yelled as Goku sent the ball flying to out field. She ran and kicked Yamcha bringing him down.

"Mae! You cannot attack the other players! That's an obstruction and Yamcha is safe for second." Vados said. "If you do that again we will toss you out."

"This is just ridiculous." Mae said as Yamcha got up. He was clenching his side where Mae kicked him. "Yo, are you okay?"

"Yea I will be." Yamcha stuttered. While Mae was dealing with Yamcha, someone had caught the ball Goku sent causing him to be out as well.

Up next was Gohan who looked as if he had a plan. Vegeta threw the ball and Gohan hit it hard sending it over to where Magetta was. Botamo came rushing up and Magetta tossed him into the air and caught the ball. "Here Mae get that guy before he goes to third!" Botamo yelled throwing the ball. Mae caught it and threw it as hard as she could at Yamcha who was just about to reach third. The ball hit him hard in the back and he collapsed on top of the base.

"I got him!" Mae cheered.

"Safe!" Whis announced.

"What?!" Mae was confused. "I hit him with the ball!"

"You have to be holding the ball when you touch him." Vados explained.

"Hey Champa seems like your player is intentionally trying to kill mine!" Beerus yelled.

"Maybe your player is just weak!" Champa yelled back.

"What did you just say?!" Beerus was getting angry.

"Seems like bad coaching to me!" Champa walked over to Beerus.

"What did you just say to me?!" Beerus roared. The two destroyers flew up into the sky where they started to argue more. The sky turned dark and lightning flashed around them.

"Everyone over here!" Krillin yelled as everyone ran for the shelter Whis put up.

"They are going to destroy everything!" Piccolo said as they watched the destroyers fight.

"Here maybe I can instant transmission us away!" Goku said as everyone huddled closer to him. "Actually maybe not!"

The earth was starting to shake and crack under the force of the two gods. "Didn't Whis say that if destroyers fight they can wipe out the universe?!" Vegeta added.

"Stop this!" Whis said.

"It is taboo for destroyers to fight!" Vados said as the angels stopped the fight.

"We are ending this match now." Whis glared at the destroyers.

"So its a tie then?" Champa asked.

"No. Universe seven is the winner. Just look there my lord." Vados said pointing to home plate. Yamcha had somehow made it home and was laying unconscious with his hand on the plate.

Afterwards Whis and Vados fixed the field and the players from universe six departed. Cabba came up to Mae and Vegeta before they left to say goodbye, "teacher, I hope next time I can learn from you. Also, Mae it was good seeing you again as well!"

"Hmph," Mae crossed her arms and walked away from the saiyan. After they left Bulma threw a party to celebrate universe seven's baseball victory. "Vegeta will you train with me?" Mae asked her teacher.

"Sure let's do it!" Vegeta said getting up.

"Hey you guys are training? Can I come?" Goku leapt up eagerly.

"No!" Vegeta and Mae said at the same time. This training session needed to be just between them.
