"I have a plan!" Goku said holding out the button. "If we have Zen-Oh come here then he can get rid of Zamasu!"

"Oh! I didn't even think of that." Mae said as she reached in her pocket feeling for her own button.

Goku pressed the button and suddenly Zen-Oh was in front of them. Goku ran to the Omni king and gave him a hug, "Grand Zen-Oh you came!"

Zen-Oh seemed to be surprised that he was randomly brought here. "Where am I?"

"That doesn't matter right now. We need your help!" Mae said holding Zen-Oh's hand.

"I don't know you." He said looking at Mae and Goku.

"I'm Goku and this is Mae. Look up there!" Goku told him pointing to the sky.

"I don't like that. Did you do this?" He asked the saiyans.

"No we didn't! That guy Zamasu did!" Mae told him hastily.

"He looks annoying." Zen-Oh said looking back to the sky.

"Do you think you could erase him for us?" Goku begged.

"A world like this should disappear. I don't like it!" Zen-Oh said as he started to fly up.

"Bulma, Trunks the time machine now!" Goku yelled.

"It's time to go!" Mae yelled as she hopped inside. Trunks got the time machine going as Zen-Oh was about to erase everything. Goku and Vegeta grabbed the legs of the machine just in time and they were off back to the past.

When they landed everyone greeted them. They told them how as they were fighting Zamasu in the future, he was somehow having an effect on the past as well. Beerus and Whis showed up with the Kais shortly after they landed.

"It seems you had some trouble in the future." Beerus said to them.

"You can say that." Vegeta then begun to tell the destroyer everything that had happened.

"Hey Bulma, can you fire up the time machine again?" Goku asked.

"You want to go back?" Mae asked.

"Yea there's still something we have to do." Goku smiled.

"Here I'll take you." Trunks said, "mother you should rest."

"I'm coming too." Mae said as she climbed back into the time machine.

"Great!" Goku said as he got in. Trunks then took them to the future. Everything had been erased and in its place just a white expanse. It reminded Mae of the hyperbolic time chamber. Only there was a small figure floating in the void. "Grand Zen-Oh!" Goku called.

"Oh?" Zen-Oh chimed as he floated to them.

"Want to come with us?" Goku asked.

"Sure!" He smiled at the saiyans and then climbed in.

When they landed Zen-Oh poked his head out causing Lord Beerus to rush over in bow, "Grand Zen-Oh! What an unexpected visit!"

"Hey supreme Kai can you take us to that place?" Goku asked with a giggle.

"Where are we going now, Mae and Goku?" Zen-Oh asked.

Mae caught on quick to Goku's plan, "we are going to take you to a friend, Zeni!"

"Ooooo!" Zen-Oh cheered as he held out his hands for Mae and Goku.

The supreme Kai transported them along with Zen-Oh and Whis to Grand Zen-Oh's palace. They were greeted by the Grand Priest who was surprised to see another Zen-Oh. He smiled and led them to the throne room.

The present Zen-Oh smiled brightly when he saw Mae and Goku, "Mae, Goku you came back!" He rushed forward to meet them but then stopped when he saw the future Zen-Oh. "Mae, who's that?"

"Goku, who is that?" The future Zen-Oh asked.

"I promised you that I would bring you a friend so that's just what I did!" Goku said bringing the Zen-Ohs together.

"Now you guys can play together whenever!" Mae smiled at them.

"Do you want to play?" The present Zen-Oh asked the future one.

"So was this your idea?" Mae overheard the grand priest ask Whis.

"Actually this was Goku's idea." He chuckled.

"These saiyans keep surprising me." The grand priest smiled.

"Indeed they do, father." Whis glanced at Mae and winked at her.

When they returned back to earth Bulma was having food prepared. Mae stretched and walked to the railing and looked over, gazing towards the city. Suddenly she was lost in thought and something pulled at her memories. She closed her eyes and watched as the memory played. She was looking down at herself and her brother when they were just four years old.

"Since you won't be coming with me now I guess I'll just have to take these little saiyans, Kakarot." A man with long spiked hair said.

"Don't you touch me or my brother!" The little Mae yelled at the man. Even though she had a brave face on, her tail was trembling in fear.

"Oh this one is brave!" The man laughed.

"Mae get back!" She yelled at herself, that's when she realized it wasn't her voice rather Goku's. "You can't have them Raditz!"

'This is my father's memory!' She thought quickly as she watched Raditz walk to Goku and knee him in the gut.

"Daddy!" Mae and Gohan yelled at the same time as Goku went down.

"Mae?" Someone said pulling her out of the memory.

"Huh?" She looked and saw Goku standing there. "Dad something weird just happened."

"What do you mean?" He looked at her confused.

"I think I just remembered one of your memories." She stuttered slightly.

"Oh yea I think it's a side effect from when we fused. Sometimes memories get swapped and you should be able to remember when we were fused." He explained to her. "Anyway Bulma says the food is ready and I'm guessing you are hungry."

"Yea I am. Wait does that mean you will have some of my memories?" She asked him as they walked together.

"Hmm maybe." Goku said nonchalantly.

After they finished eating Whis announced that he would be able to fix Trunks' timeline. "I'll go and see Lord Beerus in the future, before he disappears and have him take care of Zamasu."

"You can really do that?!" Trunks asked surprised.

"Whis I don't think it would be wise to make anymore time rings. How would you go about explaining it to Grand Zen-Oh?" Beerus glared.

"I don't think you have any room to talk, my lord. You've created a time ring yourself when you killed Zamasu." Whis chuckled.

Beerus' eyes widened at the realization, "fine I guess I'll let it go."

"Now if I fix things that means Trunks and Mai will have never returned to the present, meaning there will be two of you." Whis added.

After a long pause Mai stood up, "I'm fine with that. If it means that everyone gets to live then I'm fine knowing there is another me out there."

"I am too!" Trunks stood with her.

"Excellent, well then when you return to the future things will be as they were before Black." Whis smiled at them.

"Whis it's time to leave. Also one more thing, future kid, I'll forgive you this once out of consideration for Whis." Beerus snapped before he left.

Trunks smiled brightly and then turned back to the party. "Hey Mae will you go for a walk with me?"

"Oh sure." Mae replied caught off guard.

They walked in silence for awhile in the night air until Trunks said, "Mae I just wanted to thank you for helping. You are still the brave woman I remember you as."

"I just couldn't let you guys fight on your own." Mae said. "You said that the me from your future died in the Android attacks. What was I like?"

"Well I didn't get to train with you for as long as I did with Gohan, but you were fearless. Gohan taught me how to control my powers but you taught me what it meant to be a saiyan." He said looking up into the night sky.

Mae didn't know what to say so she simply gave him a hug. When they broke the embrace Mae said, "you know I remember when you came here the first time. I remember how inspired I was watching you fight. You are one of the reasons I work so hard and now look you've become even stronger!"

"Thanks Mae, next time I hope we can spar with each other." Trunks blinked back tears.

"Sure thing if Vegeta doesn't kill you first." Mae laughed.

"Yea you are right. We should head back now." He laughed with her.

The next morning Trunks and Mai prepared to leave to their now restored future. Everyone showed up to say goodbye to the pair. The only ones who were missing were Gohan and Piccolo. "Here sweetie I've packed everything you could need." Bulma said handing Trunks a case full of capsules.

"Thanks mom you think of everything." Trunks said hugging her. "Goku it was good seeing you."

Goku smiled and waved, "you too Trunks!"

"Mae, take care of yourself okay!" Trunks said his goodbye to her.

"You too," she smiled and waved.

Trunks turned around and saw Vegeta leaning against the time machine, "father."

Vegeta looked up and went in for an attack which Trunks blocked with his hand. "Heh, see you around kid."

When Trunks and Mai were in the time machine he started it up and everyone waved to them. "Trunks!" They heard someone yell from above. Mae looked up and saw her twin saying his goodbye. She watched as he kept up with the machine until it disappeared back to the future. Piccolo and Gohan landed back on the ground where they were standing.

"Cutting it kinda close are you?" Mae said lightly punching her brother on the arm.

"Yea I was worried I wouldn't make it." He sighed. "While I'm here Mae let's train together sometime! I'm stronger than the last time we spared."

"You got it!" Mae smiled in determination, "fair warning I'm a lot stronger too."
