When Goku locked on to Vegeta's energy he used his instant transmission to bring himself and Mae to the planet Potaufeu. They arrived just in time to see Vegeta trying to kill Trunks and Goten. Goku quickly grabbed Vegeta's arm as Mae put herself between him and the boys.

"Vegeta! Were you really going to kill our sons?!" Goku asked, he was shocked at how Vegeta was acting.

"Kakarot! That one there is a fake. I am the real one!" The real Vegeta said.

"Vegeta what is wrong with you?" Mae asked just as confused as her father.

"This doesn't make any sense." Goku said looking between the two Vegetas. "this Vegeta purple, and the other Vegeta is see through. This is really weird."

"You have to defeat that one in about three minutes or I will die. Just know he has all the same powers I do so I'm not even sure if you will be able to defeat him." Vegeta smirked. Even though he was dying he still had pride in his power.

"Well good thing I came a long. I'm sure dad and I can take down this fraud." Mae said stepping into her fighting stance.

"You're right Mae!" Goku said following suit.

"Hahaha you really think you can take me on?!" The fake Vegeta laughed.

"This is gonna be great! An all out battle with Vegeta, just thinkin about it gets my blood pumping!" Goku said smirking.

"Hmph, you can't beat me, Kakarot!" Fake Vegeta scoffed.

"Maybe not but I've got Mae here to help," Goku said looking at his daughter.

"No! Let's do this one on one just you and me Kakarot an all out fight just like old times." Fake Vegeta said.

"No just absorb them! They are both strong!" Another purple clone said from above.

"I won't fight dirty!" The fake Vegeta said back to the other clone.

"You will do as you're told!" The clone said. Suddenly the fake Vegeta was being electrocuted by the other clone.

"You listen to me now!" The fake Vegeta said delivering a punch to the clone sending it flying to the ground. "Now Kakarot, shall we?"

"Mae you stay here with the boys. Besides the strongest man in the universe is here. I want to show him what I've got!" Goku said flying to meet the fake Vegeta.

"Okay then." Mae said. She turned and noticed Monaka was standing motionless. "Vegeta are you going to be okay?"

"Hmph," Vegeta said looking to the fight that was about to happen.

Trunks and Goten came and stood close to Mae. "Mae do you think Goku will win?" Trunks asked. Mae could sense concern for Vegeta in his voice.

"I'm not sure. The real Vegeta is strong and if the fake one has all the same powers that your father has, this could be a tough match." Mae said watching Goku fight the duplicate.

"Can't you just go help?" Goten asked.

"I mean I could but they seemed pretty adamant about fighting one on one." Mae said she wouldn't interrupt unless Goku started losing. She too didn't want the real Vegeta to die and the thought of losing her mentor made her chest hurt. 'Please win, dad.' She thought looking to her father. She knew he would have a better chance fighting the fake better than she would.

"Come on Goku!" Trunks yelled.

"What the hell, Kakarot! Stop playing games you fool!" Vegeta yelled at Goku. "And you, if you really are me then you better start acting like it and take a damn punch!" Vegeta yelled at the two fighting. He was becoming more frustrated with how this fight was turning out.

"Vegeta you do know you will die if dad doesn't win," Mae said softly not wanting to make Vegeta more angry.

"Of course I know that! I would rather die than know I fought poorly especially against Kakarot!" Vegeta was shaking with anger, he was clearly conflicted. "Mae! Get up there and show them how a real saiyan fights!"

"Alright if you say so," Mae flew up to where Goku and fake Vegeta were.

"Hmph, Mae I'll kick your ass along with Kakarot's!" Scoffed fake Vegeta.

"You're just a fraud!" Mae yelled back.

"Time to get serious then!" Goku yelled going to super saiyan blue. Mae followed suit letting her power rise, her hair mimicking her father's.

"Haha!" Fake Vegeta laughed as he powered up. He too was able to turn super saiyan blue. Mae and Goku were shocked that the duplicate  was able to power up like Vegeta. "I told you, I am Vegeta now!"

Mae and Goku frowned as they both began their attacks. Even though they were both super saiyan blue he was still able to block their attacks. Mae went in for a kick but he grabbed her leg and slammed her body into Goku's, sending them both falling to the ground.

"Sorry dad!" Mae said getting up.

"It's okay, lets go! We gotta start coordinating our attacks." Goku explained. "You get in close and draw his attacks and I'll finish this with a kamehameha."

"Right!" Mae jumped into action launching herself at fake Vegeta.

"Mae, you really think you can take me on? I taught you everything you know!" Fake Vegeta laughed at her.

"You aren't Vegeta, you're just a wanna be fake who is about to get his ass kicked!" She could feel anger boiling up inside her.

"Just look how your mentor is fading." He pointed to where Vegeta was.

Mae looked and saw that the real Vegeta had become more transparent. She also saw that he had a pacifier like thing in his mouth. She decided to keep her laughter to herself. Noticing that trunks and Goten were missing, she didn't have time to think about where they were because fake Vegeta was back on her sending more punches and kicks.

Keeping her guard up she counter attacked, faking a punch to the stomach while bringing her leg up, she kicked him upside the head knocking the duplicate to the side. At that precise moment, Goku unleashed a kamehameha at the duplicate who countered with a galik gun blast. Their energies met in between them, each of them trying to push the other back. Suddenly, as Mae was about to strike with her own energy, the fake Vegeta looked as if he was being electrocuted. His energy became much weaker and Mae used that opportunity to attack with her own energy. "Final flash!" She yelled. When Goku and Mae's energies collided the duplicate was destroyed.

Mae and Goku flew back down to Vegeta who was already starting to regain his form. "I'm not going to say thanks because that was a pathetic imitation of me." Vegeta turned from the saiyans but Mae knew he was grateful that they saved him.

"How did the fake one become so weak all of a sudden?" Mae asked quizzically.

"Goten and I went and tried to find the crystal that was controlling the super human water but then Monaka stepped on it and it broke making the copy weak!" Trunks explained.

"Wow! Well that's the strongest in the universe for ya!" Goku said with admiration.

"Tch, whatever Kakarot lets just go home. I told Bulma that I would bring the kids back." Vegeta frowned.

"Hey Monaka! Let's fight again next time we see each other alright?!" Goku said bringing his fingers up to his forehead. Vegeta, Mae, Trunks, and Goten grabbed on to him before teleporting to earth.

"Trunks! Goten! Go find Bulma so she knows you are back home." Vegeta glared at the boys as they ran off. He knew that Bulma would be tearing them both a new one for sneaking on board Monaka's ship.

Mae laughed this had been quite the adventure however she was glad that Vegeta turned out to be okay. "So are you up for some training?" She turned to Vegeta and Goku.

"Yeah Vegeta lets all train together! I could tell from fighting your copy you've gotten stronger." Goku said excitedly.

"Tch, if you could barely beat that damn copy then I doubt you could face the real Vegeta!" Vegeta said smirking at Goku.

"Oh yea?! Let's go then!" Goku smiled stepping into his fighting stance.

Mae crossed her arms and laughed she was excited to watch Goku and Vegeta spar together for real. As they started fighting she decided she wanted to join in as well so she flew up and started attacking Goku and soon it became a three way fight. Mae laughed from exhilaration, she knew she was going to get a good training session in.
