"Come on Chi-Chi, let me bring Mae with me!" Goku pleaded. Once again Mae realized that she was dreaming about her father's memory rather than her own.

"Absolutely not! You've already trained with Gohan and they both have school work to do." Chi-Chi snapped back.

"Mae is a fighter like me, she should be training. Just think about how strong she will be!" Goku said excitedly.

"Vegeta already took her away from me." Chi-Chi's expression softened.

"That's why I want to train her." Goku grabbed his wife's shoulders.

"I just want what's best for her and Gohan." Chi-Chi hugged Goku.

"I know but she has so much potential." Goku said. "Let's at least ask her what she wants."

Chi-Chi sighed, "okay fine." She and Goku walked together to Mae's room and opened the door to find her missing. "Mae?" She called.

"She must have snuck out again." Goku said peering out the window.

"She must have gone back to Vegeta's. Goku please go get her back." Chi-Chi started to look angry.

The memory faded and Mae woke up to the warm sun shining on her face. "Damn it, how long am I gonna have these memories." She said draping an arm across her eyes. She never realized growing up that Goku wanted to train her as well. A knock at the door brought her out of her thoughts. When she opened the door she was surprised to see 18 standing there.

"Hey Mae I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping with me today?" She said tucking a lock of blonde hair behind her ear.

"Oh uhm yea sure let me just get dressed." Mae said quickly. She turned and threw on a T-shirt that had a cat dressed as a sushi roll, some blue jeans, and a black and grey jacket. She grabbed her wallet and phone and slipped them in her pocket. Bulma gave her a phone so she could call people and she also made sure Mae had money whenever she needed it. Bulma liked to refer to it as Mae's "Vegeta fund."

"It's different seeing you in regular clothes." 18 said as she walked out of the bedroom.

"Yea I'm usually doing some sort of training. I guess it'll be good to get out and shop for a change. Maybe I'll get something for Bulma and Vegeta." Mae said walking next to the Android.

"I'm hoping to get something for Krillin but I'm not sure what to get him." She replied as they flew to the shopping mall that was nearby.

"I'm sure you will find the perfect gift for him." Mae smiled at her friend.

When they arrived at the mall it was already busy. They walked around various shops looking at the different items there. "So what are you thinking about getting Bulma and Vegeta?" 18 asked.

"Hmm, maybe a portable tool kit for Bulma and maybe some new gloves for Vegeta? What do you think?" Mae pondered.

"Yea I think that's a good idea!" 18 said as they looked around the mall.

They went into a training store and Mae found a pair of white gloves she thought would be perfect for Vegeta. The finger tips were perfect for gripping and they were light so the user wouldn't have any resistance. She also bought a light, black jacket she could wear during training.

"Hey Mae what do you think of this?" 18 asked walking out of the fitting room wearing a pink track suit.

"I think that looks really good on you!" Mae said after a moment of inspection.

"Great I'll get it then!" 18 said cheerfully as she went to change back into her outfit. "By the way I've been wondering, how come you wear black instead of orange like your father?"

"I dunno I guess I've just always liked the color. Besides everyone else in my family wears orange. I just figured I should wear something I like." Mae replied as they payed for their items.

"Well I think it suits you," 18 smiled.

They found a small tool store and they went into take a look. Mae found a cute pocket tool kit that was in the shape of a blue cat. "Hey 18 think Bulma would like this?" She asked showing the tool kit.

"That's adorable I'm sure she will!" 18 said excitedly.

After they paid and left the store, they went to the food court where Mae grabbed a table while 18 went to get them smoothies. She leaned back against the chair, it was nice to be able to get out and have some girl time. She looked up when she saw someone standing next to her. "Oh hey 18, wait I'm sorry who are you?" She asked when she realized there was a strange man in front of her.

"Hey there so my friend thinks you are really cute and was hoping to get your number." The man smiled. He had green eyes and brown hair and a cocky smile.

"I'm sorry?" Mae asked in confusion.

"My friend over there," he pointed to another man sitting a couple tables away. He had short blonde hair and he gave a quick wave to Mae.

"So he sent you over here?" Mae crossed her arms.

"Well he's just a bit shy." The man tried to explain.

"So why should I give him anything if he can't even muster up the courage to come and talk to me?" Mae glared at the blonde headed boy.

"Oh well uhm." The brown haired man stuttered. He shot a quick look to his friend. "Why don't you just come over and talk to him?"

"Pass," Mae shrugged. "I'm not about to waste my time on someone like that."

The man sighed and went back to his friend. By that time 18 had arrived with their drinks, "What was that about?"

"I dunno I guess his friend thought I was 'cute'" Mae rolled her eyes.

18 raised an eyebrow, "his friend? You mean he didn't even come and talk to you himself?"

"Nope," Mae said taking a sip of her drink.

"Wow," 18 chuckled. When they finished their drinks they got up to go when someone grabbed Mae's wrist.

"Hey wait!" It was the blonde haired boy from earlier. "I just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully have another chance with you. I'm Mason." He said quickly.

Mae jerked her arm away from him. "No thank you."

"Come on please! I think you are super cute!" He begged.

"I said no. Now you better leave me alone before I make you." She glared at him.

"You are being a real bitch." He snapped at her.

"You are the one who couldn't come and talk to me yourself. Then you grab me and beg me for another chance. I don't even know you and I'm not about to waste my time on someone as pathetic as you." Mae said in a disgusted tone. "Come on 18 let's go."

"You bitch!" He yelled as he tried to grab her again.

18 stepped in his way and grabbed his hand and lightly putting enough pressure to hurt, "she said back off."

"Tch," he held his hand and walked away from them.

"Thanks 18, I can't stand a weak man." Mae brushed her hair back as they walked outside.

"Yea no problem he seemed like an ass anyway. Hey the sky is dark." 18 said looking up into the sky. It was early afternoon so it didn't make sense for it to be night. "Shenron!" She gasped. "I can have him make me the perfect gift for Krillin!"

"Let's go! There's two wishes left I believe!' Mae said as she and 18 launched themselves to where the dragon was.

They reached Capsule Corp and saw a group of their friends all trying to see the dragon. Shenron was waiting impatiently for someone to make a wish. Mae saw her father standing near the dragon balls and ran up to him. "Hey dad did you summon Shenron?"

"Yep I wanted to make good on my promise to bring back King Kai. There are only two wishes left and people are arguing over the last wish." Goku laughed. "Was there something you wanted to wish for?"

"Nah I was just out with 18 and we saw Shenron." Mae explained.

"I need that wish so I can get the perfect gift for Krillin!" 18 exclaimed. Master Roshi was there wanting young girls and even Goten and Trunks had a wish in mind.

"Dad!" Gohan came flying down holding Pan. "Have the wishes been granted?!"

"Not yet." Goku said looking at his son and granddaughter.

"Hey Gohan what's wrong with Pan?" Mae asked looking at her niece.

"She has a fever and it won't go away. We've given her every medicine we can think of and the doctors can't help her. We think it's because she's part saiyan so when I saw Shenron I thought it would be okay to wish her to be better." Gohan explained the situation.

"You should definitely use the wish for her then. I doubt anyone would object to that." Mae said looking at the other people.

"Of course Gohan help your little girl!" 18 said.

"Okay! Shenron I wish for you to make Pan healthy!" Gohan said holding his daughter to the dragon.

"A simple wish! Your wish has been granted!" Shenron spoke and his eyes lit up making Pan healthy.

"Now there's only one wish left. Sorry guys but I have to use it to bring King Kai back." Goku said apologetically.

"Hang on King Kai is already dead I'm sure he can wait a little longer to be revived." Master Roshi interjected.

"Yea that's right! Goku please I need that wish!" 18 exclaimed.

"Wait!" Bulma yelled as she came running up. "Goku are there any wishes left?"

"Just one, I was gonna use it." Goku said scratching his head.

"Okay so why is everyone else here?" Bulma asked looking at the small crowd.

"I want to wish for hot young ladies!" Master Roshi said.

"And I need to get the perfect gift for Krillin." 18 added.

"We want to make a wish too!" Trunks and Goten said.

"Okay I can help." Bulma said as she pulled out her phone. Within an instant a car full of girls arrived for Master Roshi. "18 I'm sure that Krillin will love anything you get for him. You don't need a dragon wish for that."

"Hmm I suppose you are right. Well then I better be off." 18 said waving goodbye.

"Trunks and Goten what do you want?" Bulma squatted down in front of the boy.

"Well, hmmm. I don't know." Goten said.

"Well you have to have a wish to have one granted." Bulma laughed. "Mae what's your wish?"

"I don't have one. I'm just hanging out." Mae said leaning against the wall.

"Alright. Hey Goku if you go and get this element for me then you can have the last wish." Bulma said showing him what she needed.

"Sure where can I find that?" Goku asked taking a closer look.

"It's in the center of the earth." Bulma showed him where he could find it.

"Okay I'll be right back." Goku said as he disappeared.

"Will someone make a wish!" Shenron snapped.

"Just be patient!" Bulma yelled at the dragon.

"Mae!" Mae heard a voice in her head from King Kai. "Please hurry and wish us back!"

"Hey King Kai. Dad said he would so it doesn't make sense for me to do it." Mae replied.

"Come on please! Shenron can't hold on much longer!" King Kai pleaded.

"Dad is the one who promised you. I'm sure he wants to be able to fulfill that promise." Mae said looking at the dragon who was starting to tremble.

"I'm okay with it!" King Kai said.

"I'm sure dad will be back any minute to resurrect you." Mae said stubbornly.

"What's going on here?" Suddenly Lord Beerus and Whis appeared.

"Oh hey Lord Beerus!" Goku said as he reappeared. "Here's that element you wanted Bulma."

"I'll take that!" Beerus said as he floated the rock to him. "Bulma you wouldn't be trying to do time travel now are you?"

"Whaaaat?! No way! I just needed that for some other reasons." Bulma stuttered.

"Oh really then you won't mind me keeping this. Also," Beerus sent an energy blast to Bulma's lab destroying everything she had in there. "It's not wise to try and deceive a god."

"I'm sorry Lord Beerus!" Bulma said, "Okay Goku you can use the last wish."

"Sweet! Shenron I wish for the three people on King Kai's planet..." Goku started to make his wish.

"I can't hold on anymore!" Shenron said before he disappeared scattering the dragon balls.

"Oh well sorry King Kai!" Goku chuckled lightly.

"Oh hey Bulma I got these for you and Vegeta." Mae said handing the presents to her.

"Wow thank you Mae. I'll give these to Vegeta when he returns!" Bulma smiled appreciating the small gifts.

"Alright I'm going to go train for a bit. It's been such a crazy day." Mae laughed returning once more to the gravity room.
