As Mae and Goku sped towards the lookout they saw some explosions off in the distance and they both decided to go and check it out. They found themselves at one of Mr. Satan's properties and they saw him training with someone. "Hey Mr. Satan! Doing some training?" Mae called to him as the saiyans landed.

"Goku and Mae!" Mr. Satan waved to them. "Yea, I've been training Buu. He hasn't rested at all and he's become super fit. I guess he really wants some of your sweets." He laughed.

"Satan!" Buu said as he emerged from the smoke. He really was looking lean and fit.

"Woah!" Mae and Goku said at the same time.

"Buu look at you!" Goku said. "You must be doing some intense training!"

"Mr. Satan said I could play with lots of fun people also Mae makes the best chocolates." Buu said smiling.

"He's been working really hard!" Mr. Satan chuckled.

"Well Buu if you do well in the tournament I'll make a lot of chocolate for you!" Mae said brightly.

"Hey Buu! Can I spar with you?" Goku asked.

"That's a good idea Buu!" Mr. Satan said.

"Okay then!" Buu agreed and he and Goku flew up to the roof.

"First one to be knocked outside the grounds loses!" Mr. Satan said.

Mae crossed her arms as she watched the two fighters. They both flew at each other although Buu was much faster than Goku. "I'm gonna eliminate them all!" Buu shouted excitedly as he countered against Goku.

"Buu you can't kill anyone! You can only knock them off!" Mae called up to him. "You will get disqualified if you kill them."

"Oh. Okay then Buu just knock them off." Buu replied to her as he dodged an attack. Buu then started sending a barrage of energy blasts at Goku.

"Ki blasts won't work!" Goku said as he blocked against the energy balls. Once Goku's vision was blocked Buu went in for the attack punching him hard in the face. While Goku was recovering Buu grabbed his shoulders and stretched his arms pushing him out of bounds.

"Way to drop your guard dad!" Mae laughed as Goku got up.

"Good job Buu!" Mr. Satan cheered.

"I didn't drop my guard. Nice job Buu going for me while I couldn't see." Goku laughed. "Seems like I learned another lesson today. I hope you have been paying attention too, Mae."

"Yea I have been. Mostly just watching you get your ass kicked." Mae teased.

"Ha ha," Goku said before he turned to Mr. Satan. "By the way 18 entered just like you said."

"Oh great!" Mr. Satan smiled.

"Speaking of, Dad we should get going to see Dende." Mae reminded him.

"That's right! Thanks for sparing with me Buu, see ya Mr. Satan!" Goku and Mae waved good bye and continued on to the lookout.

When they arrived Dende and Mr. Popo were waiting for them. "Hey Dende! You've grown!" Goku said.

"You should address him as a god!" Mr. Popo snapped at the saiyan.

"No, no it's okay. Are you guys here about the Tournament of Power?" Dende asked.

"How do you know about that?" Mae asked surprised.

"Well the supreme Kai and destroyer god were here so I listened in." He chuckled.

"Well we are here to ask if you know where android 17 is." Goku explained.

"Oh yes. He's on a large island to the south. Would you like me to take you there?" Dende said.

"That would be great!" Mae said.

"Ok I'll take you there now!" Dende bent down and placed his hand on the floor. "Panpeinappo!" A light flashed through the floor and then the lookout was speeding off towards the island.

"Hey Dende, does 17 still want to kill me?" Goku asked.

"Of course not! He works hard and he has a family too. He not like he used to be. He has a wife and kids plus he protects that island all by himself." Dende explained to them.

"Wow he must be really strong then." Goku eyes widened.

"He was really strong back then too." Mae said the memory was still painful for her.

"That's right you fought 17 back then didn't you." Goku said remembering.

"You guys have been so focused on what's happening in space and time you haven't been seeing what's here on earth." Mr. Popo said suddenly.

"I'd hate to think of he were an enemy now. He's much stronger than he was before." Dende said. "There's something else I should tell you."

"What's that?" Goku asked.

"There is a small village near here and there is a boy there who is a genius at martial arts. I think you should train him Goku." Dende said.

"Huh why me?!" Goku asked surprised.

"Although he is still very young he has unbelievable talent." Dende continued. "The reason you should teach him is because he is the reincarnation of the evil Majin Buu."

"So, he was finally reincarnated." Mae crossed her arms. That too was a painful memory.

"I've been looking toward to meeting him one day now that you mention it." Goku said smiling at the thought.

"Well then you two need to do your best in the Tournament so there is still a universe!" Dende said seriously. "I believe in you both."

"Thanks Dende," Mae smiled at the guardian.

"Ah we are here!" Dende said reaching back to the floor. "Apeponkoppi!" The lookout came to a stop. "See there,  that's the island."

"Awesome! Thanks again Dende!" Goku said as he and Mae jumped off. "Mae keep your eyes out it'll be hard to find him since we can't sense his energy."

"We could start there." Mae pointed out the sudden explosions. They sped over to see 17 taking out some men who were shooting at him. "Hey android 17!" She called out.

"Yo!" Goku said as they landed next to him.

"I think I know you." 17 said looking at Mae. "Have we met?"

"Yea we've actually fought before. Don't you remember me? I'm Mae." She said putting her hands on her hips.

"Oh right I remember now. What about you?" He asked Goku.

"I'm Son Goku. We never actually met." Goku waved.

"I thought so. I recognize your voice." He turned back to the men. "Since you are here you might as well help me."

"Okay!" Goku and Mae agreed.

"Don't hurt the animals and don't kill the people." 17 said before he rushed to knock out the poachers. They made quick work of the men and soon had them tied up on a boat and sent them on their way. "I've tried capturing them before but more come."

"Why don't you just kill them." Mae said bluntly.

"Because they still have a right to life." 17 stated.

"Why do they come here anyway?" Goku said as 17 led them into the forest.

"They are most likely here for the Minotaurus' horns." 17 explained as they came into a clearing. There was a large purple bull standing near the water. "They are worth a fortune."

"Wow it's beautiful!" Mae said in awe at the beast.

"You protect monsters too?" Goku asked.

"He's the reason I'm here. Even monsters have the right to life." 17 said as the Minotaursus wheeled around snorting at them. As it charged Goku and Mae went to defend themselves but 17 said, "no! Run away!" He and the saiyans flew up as the bull collided with the rock wall.

"Why is it so aggressive?" Mae asked still marveling at the creature.

"They didn't use to be but as humans over-hunted them they became hostile." 17 explained. "As a species they are extinct. I think that one is the last of its kind."

The sun was beginning to set when they got to 17's campsite. "I didn't expect to be meeting you now, Goku." 17 said.

"To be honest I didn't think I would be meeting you either." Goku laughed.

"After I fought Mae I was absorbed by Cell and I never got the chance to meet you." 17 continued.

"Well how about we fight now and I can test your strength." Goku said eagerly.

"No. It's my turn besides I think now is a good time for a rematch." Mae said stepping in front of her father.

"Aww Mae I wanna fight him!" Goku protested.

"No you've been fighting all day it's my turn!" Mae stood her ground.

"Alright Mae let's have a rematch." 17 grinned. "But out of curiosity what's the reason?"

"Well we could use strong friends right now." Mae said as she went super saiyan.

"Alright then." 17 stepped to defend himself.

"Hah!" Mae yelled as she launched herself at him. 17 dodged her and flew up higher in the sky. Cursing, Mae followed him. Blow after blow they connected with each other, sparks flying as their fists connected. Mae could feel her blood pounding in excitement. Last time she fought the Android she had been no match for him and he almost killed her.

17 kicked her hard, sending her flying, "no! The forest!"

"Ah!" Mae stopped herself just above the tree line. She rushed him again and they collided their elbows locking together. "You really have gotten stronger!"

"The same goes for you!" 17 smirked at her. He brought his leg up kicking her in the jaw sending her flying into the clouds.

"Damn it!" Mae swore as she rubbed her chin. "I'm going all out now!" She yelled powering up to super saiyan blue.

17's eyes widened at her power, "This is new."

"Heh there's nothing up here so no need to hold back." Mae grinned. She was getting really pumped up. "Final Flash!" The energy beam shot forward at 17 who held his hand out to stop it. Upon impact it created an explosion and in the smoke 17 was shielded by an energy barrier.

"Not bad!" 17 said as he flew at Mae again. They began attacking each other with such speed all there was were a blue and white streaks in the sky. Every time they collided sparks would fly and soon they were falling down to the ocean. Neither one wanting to give up. They landed in the cool water and when they came back up 17 stopped. "This is where it ends. The whole island could be destroyed if we continue."

"Hmph fair enough." Mae laughed shaking the water out of her hair. Together she and 17 flew back to where Goku was waiting. "Thanks for the fight."
