Jiren flew off to find the destroyer, Belmod. He had a favor to ask and he was the only one who could help him. When he arrived at the destroyer's world the angel greeted him. "Hello Jiren. What brings you here today?" She asked.

"I'm here to see Belmod. I have a favor to ask." Jiren said.

"I see. Right this way." She said leading him inside. "Lord Belmod, Jiren is here to see you."

"Hello Jiren. What can I do for you?" He asked.

"Can you bring me to universe seven?" Jiren cut right to the chase.

"What for?" Belmod asked a little surprised. "Do you want to fight that Goku again?"

"No. I want to see Mae." Jiren said.

"Oh? Well this is interesting. Why do you want to see her?" Belmod asked giving a knowing grin.

"I just can't get her out of my head." Jiren said looking up. He had to resist the urge to touch his cheek where she had kissed him.

"Well we can take you." Belmod said turning to his attendant.

"Thank you." Jiren bowed slightly.

"Marcarita, can you find the saiyan's planet?" Belmod asked the angel.

"Let me see." She said looking into her staff. "Oh my. It seems the saiyan home world, Planet Vegeta was destroyed by someone named Frieza."

"Frieza?" Jiren asked. "Wasn't he a member of their team?"

"The very one." She continued, "there are only a handful of full blooded saiyans alive. Goku and Vegeta have taken residence on a planet called Earth. Also it would seem that Mae is only half saiyan."

"She's only half? She was using the same abilities as Goku and Vegeta." Jiren said.

"Yes. It would seem the saiyan blood is strong. Although her twin is moving forward as a human denying his saiyan half. While Mae only sees herself as a saiyan." The angel said.

"I see. That explains her pride." Jiren said rubbing his chin.

"It also seems that she's struggled all her life. Her father died when she was young and then Vegeta stole her from her home and trained her to be a warrior. Seems he wanted to use her against Goku. Things changed after Goku became the first super saiyan and defeated Frieza." Marcarita explained playing images from Mae's life. "She continued to train with Vegeta even though he was the one who took her in the first place. She became a super saiyan through sheer force of will."

Jiren watched as the image of a young Mae turned super saiyan. "If my father can do it I can too. I will be a super saiyan!" She yelled as her aura and hair turned gold.

"After that they fought a creature named Cell and her twin achieved an even higher level. Goku didn't survive and Gohan defeated Cell. She then closed everyone off except Gohan and Vegeta, building more and more power. It seems the loss of her father hit her hard." Marcarita showed them more images. "Seven years later Goku came back for 24 hours to participate in a tournament. Things went south then when a monster named Majin Buu was revived. Then Vegeta was put under a spell and a fight between Vegeta, Mae, and Goku broke out. Vegeta went to fight Majin Buu and gave up his life for nothing. The loss of Vegeta nearly broke Mae. She started training with her brother Goten and Vegeta's son and that's when she reached super saiyan three. Eventually it seems Goku was able to defeat Majin Buu using that Spirit Bomb attack."

"So this was her life." Jiren said softly understanding that coldness in her eyes. She truly did understand him yet she was still able to put her faith in others. "I need to see her."

"Let's go then," Belmod said as the images faded.

When they finally reached earth Belmod told Jiren to suppress his energy as to not alarm them. They landed in front of Capsule Corp and Bulma came out to greet them. "Whis! I wasn't expecting... wait who are you guys?"

"I am the destroyer Belmod, from universe eleven. This is my attendant Marcarita and this is Jiren." Belmod introduced them.

"Vegeta told me about you Jiren. Are you here to see him?" Bulma asked.

"No I'm here to see Mae." Jiren said looking around for her.

"Oh okay. I think she's sleeping but I'll have Trunks take you to her." Bulma said as she called over her son. "Would you like something to eat Lord Belmod?"

"Actually I was thinking of paying Beerus a visit." Belmod said with a mischievous grin.

"Why do you wanna see Mae?" Trunks asked as he led Jiren down the hall.

"Because I need to ask her something. Are you Vegeta's son?" Jiren asked the boy.

"Yea I am. That lady you met is my mom." Trunks said. "Here is her room." He knocked on Mae's door and when she didn't answer he opened the door. "Mae someone is here to see you."

"Go away Trunks." Mae groaned sleepily.

"But you have a visitor!" Trunks told her. Mae shot a small energy beam at him and Trunks backed up. "Look you can deal with her."

"Okay then." Jiren nodded as he went inside. "Don't you want to wake up Mae?"

"Trunks, I've been non stop training. Let me sleep." She pulled the blankets tighter over her and fell back asleep. After a few moments she softly whispered, "Jiren."

Jiren perked up and knelt down by her bed. "Mae?" He placed a hand on her shoulder and gently shook her.

"Hmm?" Mae slowly opened her eyes and saw Jiren staring at her. "What the hell?!" She launched herself back and fell off the other side of the bed. "Ow ow ow." She said as she rubbed her head.

"Are you okay?" Jiren asked as he turned on the light.

"What are you doing here? How are you here?" Mae asked as she stood up.

"Belmod brought me." Jiren said. "Should I leave?"

"What? No let me just get dressed." She turned around and tossed on some sweatpants and a t-shirt.

"Your room is surprisingly cute." Jiren said looking at all her plush cats.

"Most of them are gifts from Gohan and Goten. I just really like cats." Mae blushed. "So why are you here?" She asked leading him out of her room.

"I wanted to see you and talk to you." Jiren said. "Marcarita showed me your life."

Mae stopped in the middle of the hallway. "What?"

"Well she was looking for your world and then somehow she started to show me your life. I'm sure there's more she could have showed but I think she wanted me to have a better understanding of what you've gone through." Jiren explained.

"Oh I see. Well you could have just asked." Mae laughed nervously. "But it's fine Lord Belmod did tell everyone your back story."

"Yea that's true." Jiren took her hand into his. "Do you want to walk with me?"

"Yea we can walk in the gardens." Mae said blushing. They walked outside and Mae breathed in the warm morning air.

"So you've been non stop training?" Jiren asked.

"Yea. I'm trying to really make Super Saiyan Ice my own. Not to mention you pushed my dad to a whole new level and I want to go beyond that." Mae said with determination.

"If you want sometime I can train you." Jiren said looking down at her.

"You'd do that for me?" Mae said excitedly.

"Why not? You are determined to go even further." Jiren smiled at her. "You know the first time I saw your eyes I knew there was something about you."

"Yea I feel the same." Mae said looking up at him. "It's like I knew you've gone through similar shit that I have."

"Since I saw everything you went through I am more sure than ever that you do understand." Jiren said softly. He lightly gripped her hand, "you are different than everyone else."

"You are too, Jiren." Mae said.

"I just wish that I had your strength." He said. "I still don't know if I can connect with people right."

"You are the strongest in all the universes." Mae said bluntly. "But I know what you mean. Besides you already have without even thinking about it."

"Toppo said something similar after the tournament." He turned to face her, "I'm starting to get there. I left Toppo with my universe. I hope that they will be able to make do without me. At least for a little while."

"Baby steps." Mae laughed. "I'm glad you are here. Although it is a bit strange. I figured if you came it would be to fight my father."

"To be honest I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since the tournament." He placed a finger on her cheek, "everytime I close my eyes I see you and hear your voice."

Mae widened her eyes in surprise, "Jiren."

"You showed me that it's okay to rely on people and to open myself to friends." He said placing his forehead against hers. Mae's breath caught in her throat. She didn't know what to say. "I needed to see you again." He brought his lips to hers and kissed her. Mae closed her eyes and kissed him back. It felt like the whole world was spinning around them. She let out a breath when he pulled away from her.

"Well that was unexpected." Mae chuckled, turning bright red.

"I just had to." He smiled at her and ran a hand over her spiked hair. "You know when we first met I never would have thought I would be kissing you."

"Yea same here. When I first saw you my only goal was to fight you so I could push myself." Mae said. "I didn't even consider my feelings until 17 pointed it out. Then when I knew you were going to be erased my heart hurt."

"I didn't even want to fight you." Jiren laughed. "I thought you were brash and arrogant."

Mae cocked her head to the side. "And now?"

"I still think you are that, but you are also so much more." Jiren stared into her eyes.

"Tch, whatever! You are arrogant yourself." She laughed. "I'm glad you found me."

"I am too." He took her hand in his. "I'm grateful that Android 17 gave us another chance. I'll have to thank him someday."

"I bet he would like that." Mae said. Suddenly a grin spread over her face. "Are you suppressing your energy right now?"

"Yes. Belmod thought it would be a good idea." Jiren said. "You are up to something aren't you?"

"Let your energy out. Let's see how long it takes for Vegeta and my dad to show up." Mae chuckled.

"You just love to test people don't you." Jiren said as he let his energy flow through them.

"Yea, this should be good." Mae laughed. Sooner than expected both Goku and Vegeta showed up. Vegeta glanced between Mae and Jiren noticing their hands intertwined.

"What is he doing here?" Vegeta asked Mae.

"Jiren are you here for a fight?" Goku asked almost too excited.

"No I came to visit Mae." Jiren said looking down at her.

"To train?" Goku asked eagerly.

"Nope!" Mae grinned. Before they could say anymore Belmod returned.

"Well looks like I must be going. Mae I hope to see you again soon." Jiren said leaving her with the two saiyans. He went and joined Belmod and his attendant.

"Damn it. Jiren wait!" Mae said running to him. She floated into the air and wrapped her arms around his neck and planted her lips on his. He put his hands on her waist and kissed her back.

"What is she doing?!" Goku stammered.

Mae pulled back and gently touched the ground. "Don't wait too long to visit me."

Jiren chuckled, "I won't. Goodbye my little ball of rage." He grabbed onto Belmod and they departed back to their universe.

"So you and Jiren then?" Vegeta asked crossing his arms.

"I guess so." Mae laughed. Her heart was still fluttering.

"Man I was hoping I could fight him!" Goku groaned.

"Jiren," Belmod said as they were flying. "Your teacher would have liked her."

"I think so too." Jiren smiled. He had a new feeling in his chest and he couldn't wait until he could be with her again.
