(Y/N POV)-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There I was, clasped in Sapphire's talons surveying the unfolding scene before me. I was shaking. When I had thought of escaping Kara, I had thought of a quick, neat, and quiet escape. Then, me and Sapphire could be away from the palace before anyone had even noticed we were gone. 

I had not, nor planned this. 

We were corned once more by Kara, and dozens of patrols of guards, with many more still on the way. The only thing that was different now, was that we were trapped, with a small army beaten army, and a strange smaller dragon, who somehow had the courage to stand up to Kara. Even though Kara was almost twice their size. 

Sapphire cooed as she held me, trying to calm me. She could tell I was nervous. 

Kara snarled at the defiance of the circled group of dragons.

"Now now...' she said, her eyes narrowing. 'We don't have to use violence here. Just surrender yourselves, and give up your pathetic rescue attempt, and nobody gets hurt..."

Ember returned the snarl, as Kara watched glaring back. 

"Ember? Is this a good idea?"

 Sapphire asked nervously. Some what I supposed were some of Ember's soldiers murmured in agreement. It was this that something in my head clicked. This, 'Ember' dragon hadn't been launching an invasion on the palace, she had been launching a rescue attempt! That was why Sapphire had been with them. Ember had been rescuing Sapphire. Although, why Ember was supposed to be dead, according to Kara made no sense to me. 

There is something very strange going on between these dragons. I thought, as I watched. 

The glaring contest between Kara and Ember continued, before finally Ember spoke. 

"And say if we do surrender... What exactly will you do with us? Kill us?" 

Kara chuckled. "Oh no. I won't kill you immediately. Where's the fun in that? Even better, I've got everyone right where I want them. My two sisters, one  should be rotting in the dungeon, and the other whom should be dead and buried, and Y/N. My love." I shuttered when she said that. Especially the look she gave me after. A sweet and loving look on the surface, but her eyes seemed tp say; I'll deal with you later...

"And if we refuse surrender?" Ember asked cautiously. 

Kara shrugged. "Then I guess I'll just kill all of you, here and now, and then take Y/N."

"Sheesh, what is it with you and that human? No offence." Ember asked Kara, before looking over to me. 

I shook my head. "None taken." 

"So... What will it be. Death now, or death later?" Asked Kara, a glint in here eye. 

Ember took a look at her troops, before seeming to glance over at Sapphire. I felt Sapphire pull me closer to her, squishing me against her chest. Looked up to see her giving a nod. Ember looked back at Kara, before replying. 

"Y-yes. fine. We... surrender." A wide grin spread across Kara's face, before it turned into a triumphant smirk. 

"Brilliant! You made the right choice, little sister. But I still want one more thing from you... It wil give me great satisfaction. Bow." She spat the last words, leaning until she was almost touching Ember's snout. A low growl was throbbing in Ember's throat, and I could tell she wanted to bite Kara right then, and Kara could tell. But that would have led for certain death for all of us. Finally, Ember lowered her head, bowing deeply, although it was forced. My attention was snapped back, when Kara turned her own attention to the rest of the room. 

"Now. Lets get this over with then! Guards! Seize Ember, Sapphire, and their little band of misfits. However, hand the human back over to me." She said in a loud and commanding tone. This really was giving me seriously bad reminders from the first time I was trapped by Kara in this hallway. 

"NO!" cried Sapphire, as Ember was dragged to her feet by the guards, all the fight seemingly drained out of her. As she was carried fast, she gave a look of sorrow towards Sapphire. "I'm sorry." She whispered as she passed, before giving me a small nod. 

Sapphire held me tight, trying to make herself small as the guards closed in. She bared her teeth, claws unsheathed, snarling. 

"Sapphire... I believe you have something of mine. Something that I want." Said Kara, as she pushed into the tight circle now surrounding Sapphire. 

"Sapphire. Its okay." I whispered to her, trying to bring comfort. Sapphire looked down at me. A small tear was moving down the side of her snout. 

"I-I don't want to lose you again. My love. I-I-" 

"Its alright, this won't be the last time you see me... I'll come looking for you." I whispered, so that Kara didn't hear. "Just don't give up. We'll get out of here. With that Ember dragon... We'll be safe soon."

"Y/N, dear, you don't understand. This is my fault. I-I shouldn't have-" she started, before Kara interrupted. 

"Excuse me? Sapphire? I've asked once, and I'll only ask once more. Give me back my treasure..." She growled. I gave Sapphire a hopeless look. Hesitating, Sapphire slowly placed me onto the ground, before I was scooped up into Kara's tail. 

"There. That wasn't so hard. Was it?" She asked Sapphire. I could see her looking at me longingly, with a heart broken expression on her face. 

"Right! Now that I've got what I want most...' she shot me a look of loving and I squirmed inwardly with discomfort, 'I suppose its off to the dungeon with you. Put her in a different cell to my other sister though, Ember, I don't need those two coming up with any more heroic break outs." She sniffed distastefully at Sapphire, as the guards grabbed her, pinning her wings so she couldn't move. 

As she was moved off down the hallway, that the other guards had taken Ember, and the rest of her soldiers, Kara looked down at me, now with a disapproving look. As if I had done something wrong- Oh wait, I had done something wrong. 

I ran away for her. Uh oh, this cannot end well. I thought nervously. 

"Now, Y/N. I have to say, I am very disappointed in you... How about we go back to my chamber, where we can discuss important matters. Such as...' Her pupils narrowed into slits, as she began to move back down the main hall. With me still wrapped up in her tail.

"What exactly am I going to do with you... My love."
