Lucy's POV:

I'm late, oh god I'm late. Erza and Mira are going to kill me. Third mouth in a row I've been late to brunch. And this one is discussing the special surprise we have planned for the guild. I'm totally against what Mira and Erza are planning but they scare me so I'm doing it anyway.

I race down the sidewalk towards the café we usually meet up at as fast as I can. I left in such a hurry that I didn't have time to brush my teeth or do my hair of anything else. I'm sure my hair is a mess cause I felt natsu playing with it all morning. It felt nice so I'm not complaining. I will just have to fix it when I get there.
I round the corner and the café comes into view. Sitting at one of the outside tables is Mira, Erza, Levy, Juvia, Lisanna, and Canna. The waiter just came by and handed out the Mimosas. 
"Well if it isn't boobs Makenzie," Cana says as she downs she drink, "better late then never."
The rest of the girls turn their attention towards me and I pull up a chair.
"Looks like someone slept well," Mira says as she pokes one of the hickys Natsu left on me when I dragged his drunk ass out of the guild hall.
Erza turns toward ms me with a look of shook on her face," Lucy, you and Natsu didn't... you know... do it... did you." She begins to blush as Lisanna lightly punches her on the arm.
"Come one Erza, were all adults here, Wendy isn't here today. You can say the word." She put her hands on Erza's face and starts making her mouth move, "sound it out. They had S E X... sex."

Now all the girls eyes were on me. Juvia blushed just about as red as Erza's hair, "does this mean, Lucy is no longer love rival?"
I have never felt more embarrassed in my entire life.

"No... no... no, it's not like that." I exclaimed while trying to hide my embarrassment. I explained everything that happened in the past 24 hours as the waiter brought our usual orders.

Erza slid some money over the table and Mira gladly expected. "WAIT WERE GUYS MAKING BETS ON MY LOVE LIFE."
"Sweets, its mating season if Natsu wasn't going to admit his feelings for you now he never would have," Canna said while draining another glass.
"Yeah, I'm still very confused about the whole mating seasons thing. What the hell is it?"
Levy looked up the the book she was reading, "dragon mating season is where a dragon, and or slayer, is compelled on instinct to seek out and claim their mate. In the case of the slayer they only claim who they know to be their true love."

I blush at her definition.

"It's all here. Everything you might need to know about dragon slayer mating season," Levy states as she hands me the book she was reading.
The book looked old. It's leather binding worn, and the pages yellow and bent. The cover had a dragon carved onto the front of it.

"Now that all the explanations are taken care of," Mira excitedly exclaimed," it's time to start operation get Lucy laid."
Erza face palmed.

I should have stayed home today.
