Natsu's POV:

The sun started to go down. Still no progress with Lucy. We still sat back to back in her bed. She was still working on her novel, and from the brand new stack of paper beside her she had gotten a lot done. I was still trying to then pure thoughts and counsel my erection.

Finally after what seemed like hours she got up and stretched. "Are you starting to get hungry, cause I am," she said while she started to pick up her writing utensil, "I'm going to make dinner." And with that she walked into the kitchen.
I was about to join her when I heard tapping on the window.

I turned around only to find a small white bird with blue eyes. A few feathers tied up on its head; sitting on the window sill. Next to her was the words: MAN UP AND KISS THE GIRL, spelled out in straw. It winked at me and then flew away.

Man Lucy's weirdness must be spreading to the animals now.

I went into the kitchen to find Lucy was preparing a big meal. "Lucy are we expecting company?"  I said quizzically.

"No, Natsu," she said as if I was an idiot,"If I don't make this much food you will eat it all and I won't have leftovers for tomorrow."

"why would you need leftovers?"

"sometimes it's nice to have."

"Oh okay," and now things were starting to get awkward. How do I start up a meaningful conversation with a girl. Not only a girl but one of the smartest girls in fairytail.

"Hey Natsu, can I ask you a question?" She said as she poured sauce into a pan.
"you just did."
"not what I meant."
I chuckle at that, of course I knew what she meant. "Ask away Luce."

"Why did you kiss me earlier?"

And I'm dead.
