Lucy's Pov, 

Natsu dragged me off laughing and grinning as I followed along smiling. He was such an idiot but he was my idiot. Natsu took me to a lake as we got there I saw a blanket and basket already under a tree. "Hope you like it" Natsu asked as I nodded smiling at him. Natsu and I walked over to the tree hand in hand as we sat down smiling. "I had Mira set up the food and that as Im not a good cook" Natsu laughed a little making me smile more. Natsu got out some sandwiches and some wine out the basket as I looked around. I couldn't help but watch the lake.

It looked beautiful with the sun's reflection on it as well as it being surrounded by blue flowers. "Like it then?" Natsu asked as I looked at him. "I love it" I answered as Natsu smiled at me. Natsu and I got to know each other more as we ate. Natsu joked around a lot making me laugh a lot. As we ran out of food and the sun was starting to set. "Ready?" Natsu hugged me from behind as he pointed to the lake. "Ready for?" I asked watching the lake. As the sun got lower the reflection made a rainbow above the lake and turned the lake pink and orange. 

"Woah" I didn't know what to say. I was stunned with the beauty in from of me. I heard Natsu chuckle a little as his head went on my shoulder. I never stayed out until sunset because of my training to keep my magic in check and the fear of the council. As we watched the sunset Natsu and I got up. "Mira said she will deal with this because now I got something else to show up" Natsu offered his hands as I took it. Today was the best day of my life. It wasn't saying much. Natsu ran with me following behind smiling as we went to the edge of town and the forest.

Natsu covered my eyes making me a little confused. "Trust me" he whispered in my ear as I nodded. Natsu started to lead me as I listened around trying to get an idea where he was taking me. After a small walk Natsu removed his hands. I opened my eyes to see us at the cliffs showing us the ocean. The sun was touching the ocean giving it a light orange glow to it. "Looks like we are just in time to watch it set" Natsu made me look at him. We smiled at each other as Nastu pulled me close to him. It felt so right to be close to him. I felt happy.

I also felt my cheeks warm up a little as Natsu and I got closer to each other. Our lips soon meet as my eyes closed, my arms going around Natsu's neck as I felt his go around my wast pulling me closer to him. I melted in the kissed as Natsu's tongue and mine danced around. As we pulled away my cheeks were burning as I looked at Nastu smiling who was also red. "That was amazing" Natsu put his forehead on mine. "I-it was" I felt my face burning more as Natsu smirked. He wasn't helping my blush problem.

Natsu's Pov, 

Lucy was so beautiful and an amazing kisser. I just wanted to kiss her again as I saw her getting more and more red. I was trying to fight the urge as Lucy bit her bottom lip. I lost it. I pulled Lucy into another kiss, Lucy kissed back as she smiled into the kiss. I pulled away and kissed down her neck as Lucy let out a small moan. I was going to mark her. "N-Natsu" Lucy whispered as I bit down into her neck making her gasp. I pulled away from her neck, putting my hand on Lucy's cheek. "Out of everyone I thought I would be last to find love" I whispered as she Lucy smiled at me.

My other hand kept Lucy close to me as I couldn't stop staring into Lucy's brown eyes. as the moon started to rise. "W-we should head back" Lucy's face was still bright red as I pulled her into another kiss. She kissed back as my eyes closed. It felt so right to be doing this with Lucy. I pulled away as our eyes opened to be staring into each others. "Let's head back" I whispered as Lucy nodded playing with my hair. I felt nice. Lucy and I started to walk back as I put my around around Lucy. I saw her blush again making me grin.

I couldn't help myself but grin as Lucy looked at me. "What?" she asked as I leaned in next to her ear. "You look so beautiful when you blush" I whispered seeing her turn into a deeper shade of red. I laughed a little seeing as she playfully hit my arm. "NATSU" I then heard happy my blue exceed. I looked up to see him standing on a green bench. Happy was nearly fully blue but his white stomach and pink ears. His big black eyes staring at me and Lucy shocked. "A-a talking cat?" Lucy asked shocked as I laughed a little.

"Lucy this is Happy my best friend and Happy this is Lucy my mate" I snuggled into Lucy's neck as I heard Happy gasp. "NATSU'S IN LOVEEEEE" Happy started dancing and shouting as Lucy and I laughed. "Should I be aware of anymore talking cats?" Lucy then asked as I started to think. "Well there are 4 others" I answered as Lucy nodded. I kissed her cheek as Lucy's face went bright red. I looked at Happy to see him jump up and his white angle type wings showed up on his back making him fly above me and Lucy.

"Let's head back together" I couldn't feel any more happier. Nothing could make this day any better. As me and Lucy walked back, I joked around making her laugh a giggle with Happy flying above us. We stayed away from town using the forest path. I kissed Lucy's cheek again before we went inside to see Mira fangirling. "NALU" she screamed before passing out in Laxus arms. "NaLu?" Lucy and I asked confused as I saw something on the back of Lucy's neck. It was a small image of a flame, looked liked a really detailed tattoo. I smirked to myself knowing I marked my mate..
