Over World POV

It was a cloudy day, darker clouds formed in the distance away from an old ruin. A lone pink dragon watches the clouds as they move closer. She gets up and stretches her wings. She flies off to go hunt for herself and her prisoner.

Deep within the ruins, a lone red and dark purple dragons lays on the ground. He listened carefully, waiting for his sister to leave. He heard the soft flapping and stood.

"It is time..."he growls. He spits acid on the chain attached to his tail. The metal sizzles away. He next frees his legs. The last chain connected to his neck was a bit more difficult. He had to spit his acid more closer to the ground. The chains he now drag behind him clatter against the stone ground.

He reached the entrance of the ruins and stretched his wings. He strongly flapped his wings and took off toward the dark clouds. Lightning flashed within the clouds, illuminating the dark dragon's shape.

An hour later, the pink dragon returns with the carcass of a deer. She drags it into the ruins. She stops though. Her brother had escaped. The metal still sizzles from the acid. She let out an angry roar. She charged out of the ruins and looked all around for any sign of her brother. Lightning flashed overhead as the storm has now moved over the ruins. She had a bad feeling.

Shadow, the dragon who has been trapped for thousands of years has finally been freed. He landed by a lake near a city. He glares at the city.

"Humans are ruining this world." he growled. He looked back toward the lake as bubbles began to rise rapidly to the surface. A spike covered head rose up. Shadow growled at the dragon who rose up out of the lake. The dragon landed behind him. He had a shell like a turtles, two webbed feet and a webbed tail.

"You hate humans too?" he asked. Shadow nodded. "I want humans gone. I will work with anyone who wants the same thing."

"Alright. You can assist me then. Shadow the dark Dragon. You can help me find more dragons to help." Shadow said. The turtle dragon nodded. "So why do you want humans gone?"

"They killed my true love right in front of me. I would have been killed if it wasn't for one of those brave dragons coming to help. I'm Cruncher the turtle dragon by the way." He explained.

"Welcome to the team Cruncher." Shadow said. They walked deeper into the forest away from the human city.

Over World POV.

A lone green dragon rest within a cave not to far from the old ruins. He heard the loud roar from the light dragon. He shot up and looked out. He roared out to the light dragon. She landed outside the cave minutes later.

"Did he really escape?!" Rex the emerald dragon asked Jewl the light dragon. She nodded.

"I went to hunt. When I came back, he was gone." She said sadly.

"We must find him. If he discovers the location of Kyloth, we are all dead." Rex said.

"Kyloth?! The apocalypse dragon?" Jewl said shocked. Rex nodded.

Hellfire POV.

Dark clouds rolled in overhead. Lightning flashes above us. I thought I saw some kind of black figure in the sky. Shelly was pulling on my wing.

"Hellfire come on! We need to find shelter!" Angel yelled at me. My stare broke and I followed the two to a nearby cave. The rain began to fall in sheets.

"So where are we going?" I asked them.

"I'm taking you to the Sacred Forest. It's the safest place with no people or evil." Shelly replied.

"I'm just tagging along. Its better to travel in a group than alone." Angel said. I looked back out into the storm. The last time I saw a storm like this was when I was small enough to fit in my old captor's house.

"Well we should rest for the night. Goodnight everyone." Shelly said as she laid her head on the stone ground.

"Night." I said as she began to drift off. Angel laid her head down to.

"Never let anything sway you to darkness. My mother always said that. This storm is a warning. Something bad is coming." She said. I stared at her as she fell asleep.

Something bad? I sense that too. What is happening? I slowly drift into a deep sleep.

Jewl POV.

I try to follow my brother's scent but with his storm its hard to stay airborne. I landed and followed the scent on the ground. He must have landed here. I followed the trail to a dark cave. I saw a fire within the cave. I formed a ball if light above my head and entered.

I found my brother, but he was with two other dragons. An angry turtle dragon glared at me. the other dragon was an angel-dino dragon. He glared at me with his red eyes.

"Chase my sister away!" Shadow hissed. The turtle dragon opened his maw and ran at me. Before he could comp down on my neck I backed away. The angel-dino took a deep breath and blew out a rage filled fire. I brought up a light shield, but my tail wasn't completely inside and it got singed. I ran out. I ran as fast as my legs could go.

I ran through the storm and once I thought I was far enough away from my brother, I decided to find a place to sleep. I had found a nice cave. I walked in, not bothering to light the cave. I stepped on something warm.

"OWWWW!!!!" a roar was let out. I quickly formed a light over my head. I saw a fire dragon glaring at me. I looked under my foot and saw his tail.

"Hellfire what's wrong?" a water dragon rose her head up and looked at us.

"Get off my tail!" the fire dragon supposedly named Hellfire growled.

"Oh, sorry I didn't know anyone was in here." I said. I moved my foot to the side.

"Hey Hellfire calm down. It was an accident." The plant dragon said. I looked at her. She seems familiar.

"Fine Angel." he puffed smoke.

"Who are you?" The water dragon asked.

"Oh...I'm Jewl the light dragon." I replied.

"I'm Shelly the water dragon. And you have heard Angel's and Hellfire's names." The water dragon said.

"Great to meet you." I said then cringed as I moved my tail.

"I something wrong? Are you hurt?" Angel asked.

"Yea, my tail was burned by an Angel-dino dragons fire." I said.

"Want me to cool it down?" Shelly asked. I nodded. She rose up from her spot and walked over me. She sprayed a stream of cool water on my tail. Ah...that feels so good.

"So why did you get burned?" Hellfire asked.

"I was a guardian, guarding an evil dragon." I started.

"Oh...I heard this legend." Angel said.

"Yes, well my prisoner escaped today. I tracked him down and he had two dragons following his orders. I couldn't bring my tail into my protective bubble of light and it got burned." I finished.

"So evil was unleashed? What is his plans?" Shelly asked.

"I'm not sure what he wants to do, but if it has to do with the apocalypse dragon, we must stop him." I said.

"T-the A-Apocalypse Dragon! I heard of his legend too. He only wants to destroy this world, but the universal dragon had put him in eternal sleep before he could do anything. The legend states that you need the three guardian gems to open his chamber." Angel said.

"Yea, we need to find and protect these dragons and I know where one is." I told them.

"Then we'll leave when the storm lets up." Shelly said. I nodded and laid down. Every dragon fell asleep instantly. I slowly found sleep.

Shadow POV.

"Thanks for your help Blaze. You won't be disappointed for joining my cause." I told the Angel-dino dragon.

"I know I won't. I heard rumors about you when I was a hatchling and I have always wanted to kill by your side." Blaze replied.

"Alright, let's search for more allies and the guardian gems." I growled. Blaze and Cruncher nod.
