Luffy aimed his attacks at Hody while the rest of the Straw hats kept Hody's goons away from their captain. Kari blinked then looked towards Jimbei, who was battling the giant fishman that the Straw hats encountered moments before while heading towards Fish-man Island with Sanji. The girl smirked and ran that way. She jumped up and onto the fishman and trotted to be in the center of his stomach. Sanji glanced towards her.

"Huh? Oh, Kari! What're you--" Sanji cooed as his visible eye turned into a heart. Kari shushed him as she looked at the battle below. Kari smirked then jumped a few times, causing the fishman below her to grumble in pain. Kari then lept down with a wide smile and flipped forwards a few times then came crashing down in a group of fishmen, nearly killing all of them. Sanji stared in awe. "... Danm she's so badass..." He mumbled. Kari looked around to see if there was any kind of opening to free the king and princes.

"Kari!" A voice called. It was Robin. The woman had opened a path towards the four captives, but was too busy to free them herself. Kari nodded and rushed that way with her body low to the ground and her arms behind her back and her hands flat with their palms up.

"Metal dragon!" Kari called. Her skin began to change into metal-armor-plate-like scales that were colored a shiny platinum and shimmering black detail, metallic bat-like wings, a long and sharp tail with a spike on either side of it, sharp steel colored claws, a few scales on her upper wrists curved upwards, causing the bandaging on her right arm to rip a little bit, and pointed ears that had a few scales pointing outwards from the rim. There were a few scales aligned with her collarbone that grew outwards while her hair gained steel colored tips with a few lines that went inward, starting thick but quickly got thinner. Kari skid to a stop when she was in front of the royal family Kari smiled. "Hold still." Kari said then closed her eyes and brought her left arm upwards to be parallel with the ground, her palm up while index finger and thumb were pointing forwards in a check mark shape and the rest of her fingers were tucked in her palm. "Ogun..." Kari began, bringing her index finger into her palm in a curving motion, then getting ready to snap. "Call." Kari stated and snapped her fingers. The metal chains around the royal family broke and rushed towards Kari. The chains began to make swords and other metal based weapons quickly. Kari smirked. "Alright then. Ogun rush." Kari said while pointing her enemies with her left index finger while her right hand was tucked into her shorts pocket. She snapped again and the weapons rushed at the opposing forces, causing a lot of injury and a few deaths. The royal family stared at the human in front of them in shock.

"How did you do that?" Neptune asked.

"I'll explain later, right now we've gotta get you four out of here. You're too hurt to fight and I don't want you guys dying." Kari said while snapping with her right hand and her satchel opened itself, like before. "One, wind, defensive, giant." Kari called and a large scale hovered in front of her in a sphere of light. "Form!" Kari called and a giant wind dragon formed. He was a large, quadrupedal, muscular, sky blue armor-plate scaled dragon with triangular shaped green eyes, sky blue falcon shaped wings, a deer like head, no horns, a long tail with oval-like shaped tail fins, long silver mane that went down his head and ending at his upper back, and navy blue talons formed. His name was Fazelum. Kari smiled at the dragon as he opened his mouth to speak.

"[What is it, Kari?]" He asked in an odd language. The royal family stared in slight shock.

"[I need you to watch over the Royal family. Guard them, please.]" Kari replied. The dragon nodded. "[Thank you.]" The girl smiled. Kari turned to the bewildered royal family and blinked. "What? Not all dragons speak like this. My parents taught me how to speak Dragonese. Well, not my birthparents but the ones that raised me for nearly my whole--- It's a long story that I'd rather not get into." The girl informed.

"What did he say, fa mi re?" Ryuboshi asked.

"I told Fazelum to keep you guys safe. He's a very tough wind dragon, even though he's only a clone, but almost exactly like the real one. He is exactly like the original in every way except his body is that of my creation. So yeah, you're in good hands." Kari smiled. Fukaboshi blinked a few times then sighed.

"Let's get going." He said.

"[Fazelum, you take care of them. Oh, their names are first born son Fukaboshi, second born son Ryuboshi, third born son Manboshi, and father King Neptune. They don't speak Dragonese, so watch their body-language and do your best to understand them. Okay?]" Kari informed.

"[Okay, Kari.]" Fazelum replied then took the royal family to a safe spot, the princes not liking that they would not be helping in battle for a while. Kari sighed then noticed a shadow covered the square. Kari looked up due to an odd shadow forming on the ground. She went wide eyed as a giant ship began heading towards the square. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a small figure jump towards and latch onto the ship. Kari gulped then noticed Sanji sending Luffy towards it, but the future pirate king began to fall. Sanji did not kick hard enough. Kari rushed towards Sanji as an idea formed in her head. She kept her body close to the ground and her arms behind her while she balled her hands into fists to run as fast as she could with little air resistance.

"Water dragon!" Kari called and began to change her form. Sanji looked towards Kari, hearing her voice not too far away from him, as she rushed towards him. "Sanji! Gimme a boost." Sanji blinked then nodded and got ready to send Kari flying, knowing that she can help a lot more than he can at this moment.

"Alright, be careful. Armee de L'Air..." Kari jumped up while aligning herself with Sanji then tucked in her wings and bent her legs, making herself appear as a cannon ball. "Assault!" Sanji kicked the bottom of Kari's feet, sending her flying towards their plummeting captain. Kari grabbed him then unfurled her wings.

"Whew, that was a close one." Luffy sighed.

"Yeh." The two chuckled. "Alright, get on my back and hold on tight." Kari said while Luffy held onto her like she said. The girl went flying upward as fast as she could towards the ship, being sure to go past Hody before landing on one the chains of the giant ship, called Noah, where the anchor was since she was unsure if the ship had air or not for Luffy. Kari and Luffy gripped the chain and began climbing towards the top of the ship, Kari watching their surroundings closely. She looked down and saw that the giant fishman Sanji seemingly knocked out not long ago had gotten back up. Kari growled but noticed that he was getting smaller than his original size. She smirked.

"Size-size, touch shrink. Proportionate." Chase growled, shrinking the fishman to be the average size of a human. The dragon chuckled. "Looks like you're not so big any more."He said then began to fight him.

"Kari!" Luffy called and Kari looked at him. "I'm going on ahead, you go protect wimpy-hoshi!" He ordered and Kari nodded, let go of the chain and flew into the water and swam as fast as a mermaid towards the princess, who was swimming away from the ship that was targeting her specifically.

"Shira!" Kari called as she swam to the Princess's right.

"Huh? Oh, Kari!" She smiled shyly.

"Don't worry. I'm here to protect you."Kari smiled.

"That's our job." A voice called. Soon the three princes came into view, much to Kari's shock.

"But you were supposed to be resting! Fazelum was supposed to be guarding you!" The girl groaned. "Ugh, whatever. We'll need all the help we can get, I suppose." She sighed. Hours passed and the three princes as well as Vander Decken, the fishman who was after Shirahoshi's heart, were down, not dead but definitely out of commission. Kari, Luffy, and Hody were on the now plummeting ship and Shirahoshi watched on the sidelines, frozen. Soon Kari, who was in her usual form was knocked off of the ship and into the water by Hody.

"KARI!" Luffy called, wanting to help her, but he was too busy fighting Hody. "DANM IT!"

"[Don't worry.]"

"[We're here]" Two voices called. It was Meauzi and Shumite, the two water dragons. Meauzi grabbed Kari in his mouth and swam back to the ship while Shumite began to slow the ship down as best as she could by changing the currents around it. Once Kari was safe, Meauzi joined Shumite. Eventually Hody was knocked out and now all Luffy had to worry about was Noah plummeting into Fish-man Island. He began to tear it down, since earlier he had heard Fukaboshi talking about why Hody was doing this as well as his request to "destroy their past", Kari helped destroy the ship as well. Soon the two heard voices in the water, not belonging to Meauzi or Shumite.

"Who's there?!" Luffy growled.

"Show yourselves!" Kari called. Soon Shirahoshi came between the two and made them stop, for the ship had stopped moving. The two looked up and saw a bunch of Sea Kings holding the Noah. Luffy and Kari, relieved that the island was going to be okay, passed out from their injuries as well as energy loss. Shirahoshi gasped and quickly swam to the island to seek help while the Sea Kings took the Noah back to where it once was and the two water dragons followed Shirahoshi.

Everyone was cheering that the island was saved. Hody and his most loyal followers were locked away while the rest were given jobs in the royal army. Once the fishmen and merfolk in the square saw the mermaid princesses they cheered even more, but grew silent as they saw Kari and Luffy.

"Can anyone help?! They just passed out!" She called. Chopper, who was paralyzed for the most part from using his monster point, told Robin to get his bag and medical equipment. Robin helped the reindeer examine and work on Luffy and Kari for the time being. Luffy needed a blood transfusion while Kari was going to be okay. Jimbei gladly volunteered to give blood to Luffy, since they had the same blood type. This was the start of a fresh beginning for the fishmen of Fish-man Island.

Once everyone was awake and patched up, King Neptune held a feast in honor of the Straw hats. The pirate crew was going to be taken there in a few minutes so they all waited by the ship.

"A feast, huh?" Sanji thought with a smirk. "I wonder what the food'll taste like."

"Yeah, it's pretty cool get that feast we were promised." Kari giggled. Chase hummed in thought while swaying his tail. Soon the crew was taken to the palace. There they saw a hoard of people cheering for them.

"Our heros!" They all called, but Luffy growled.

"I'M NOT A HERO!" He called. "I WANT ALL THE MEAT!" Kari stifled a laugh at her captain's words.

"Kari..." Robin called from behind the youngest crew member. Kari turned and smiled childishly.

"Yeh, Ma?" She replied with a light giggle. Robin stared and saw how happy she was.

"Uh... Nevermind. It's nothing." She said. Kari shrugged.

"Well, okay then." Kari replied then gasped in awe as they all arrived in a gigantic room filled with food, dancing mermaids from the Mermaid Cafe, and Fish-man Island's best singer. The Straw hat crew went wild and happily enjoyed the festivities. Nami drank booze with the King while Zoro drank booze with some guards, Luffy stuffed his face with candy, Chase talked with the Princess while he ate, Robin ate with a thought filled expression, Usopp and Franky ate and danced, Sanji was out cold from the beauty of the mermaid dancers and Chopper was looking after him, and Kari called back the three scales she used to create the three dragons. The scales rushed back, each in an orb of light that was colored based on their element. The scales went back into Kari's satchel and the child went to eat.

"Mind if I join you, Kari?" A voice asked. Kari looked towards the voice and saw Prince Fukaboshi.

"Sure." She smiled and ate happily. Fukaboshi sat with her and ate some food as well. The two chatted happily and laughed.

"Oh, I have a question. You are human but you have a dragon for a brother..."

"Oh, I was raised by dragons for as long as I remember. I... Honestly, I hated humans..." Fukaboshi widened his eyes. "I've said this so many times in the past, I hate humans and I hate being a human... " Kari sighed and silence fell between the two. Fukaboshi was about to speak, but Kari continued. "Though, that was two years ago. Now I'm okay with it. I learned that everyone and everything is different. While training with other dragons I saw that some dragons were kind, some mean, some wanted me dead, and others protected me. Eventually I saw humans with many different personalities. I hope that, one day, I'll find my real family, though my dragon family will always be family no matter what." Kari smiled childishly and Fukaboshi blinked a few times.

"She's very knowledgeable for someone so young... Though I guess it's common sense that everyone is different." He thought. Eventually Robin pulled aside the king to talk with him and everyone else continued to party.

Robin and the King began talking about the Poneglyph that Robin found while in the Sea Forest. It turned out that Princess Shirahoshi was one of a few weapons of mass destruction. The weapon Poseidon. Robin blinked in slight shock then nodded in understanding.

"There are other weapons like this. Very strong and very deadly, even if they don't look like it. There at least two other weapons, that are the usual weapon. And, from what I've been told, a third made by the government during the void century in the form of an odd man-made fruit. It was stronger than the other weapons, so, the fruit was scrapped, thankfully." King Neptune sighed. "Anyway, the three ancient weapons still around today are Poseidon, Pluton, and Uranus." He informed and Robin nodded in reply with a small thought in the back of her mind. When the two went back inside they saw that Luffy, Zoro, and Kari were out cold, Nami was partly drunk and the others were eating and having a good time. Robin chuckled and went back to eating.

After the party everyone decided to just relax and stay for a while. Everyone went off to do their own thing but soon heard a scream echo through out the palace. This scream startled Kari and Luffy as well as Zoro and Sanji and they rushed towards the sound. It was Caribou attempting to kidnap Shirahoshi. Kari and Luffy exchanged glances and nodded.

"Adamant hardening, Gum-Gum Pistol!" They both called then punched Caribou with their fists that were hardened using Busoshoku Haki. This sent Caribou flying, breaking one of the walls and into another room. Kari and Luffy chuckled and high fived each other then felt a pair of giant arms surround them and pull them into a big hug. Luffy grumbled at Shirahoshi's crying while Kari gave a nervous smile. Zoro and Sanji rushed in only to see that they were a bit too slow. Zoro sighed while Sanji pouted about Luffy getting all of the attention.

A while later the king and minister of the right talked about the treasure being stolen. Nami heard this and the two told her that if the Straw hat crew were to find it then they could have it. Nami internally squealed and sent Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji to go get the treasure. While those three were out and about the rest of the crew relaxed happily. Once Zoro, Luffy, and Sanji were back they told Nami that they gave the treasure away to one of the four emperors known as Big Ma. Hearing this, Nami beat them senseless with her sorcery climate baton. Kari, Chopper, and Usopp shivered at how scary Nami could be. The crew soon got ready to leave the island happily, packing up their things as well as some supplies the fishmen and merfolk gave them. Nami got a new log pose from the minister of the left and the crew was about to set out, they just needed everyone to get on the Thousand Sunny.

"Where is she?" Luffy grumbled. The rest of the crew began to get a bit uneasy.

On the other of the island, Kari walked around with some supplies and Celes. She smiled happily as everyone greeted her.

"Kari Kana D Himura." A voice stated. Kari turned to see a cloaked figure in the shadows. Kari stared at the figure and tilted her head. The girl sniffed and got the figure's scent. It was a human scent and a new one at that.

"Who are you?" Kari asked.

"A messenger. I've come to warn you. You're a target. One of the top targets to the government. They know something about you. Be on your guard at all times." Kari blinked then nodded slowly. The figure huffed then walked away. Kari shrugged at this and rushed back to the ship.

About an hour later the Straw hat crew made a promise with Shirahoshi to return to the island then set sail for the New World.
