Dragons Human Author's Note
Flames roared through the skies as a young boy shuddered.
A large dragon crept up to him very slowly.
The boy whimpered before screaming.
"Please don't hurt me! I haven't done anything!"
The dragon sniffed the air. Fear. The small boy was scared. It sniffed again and paused. Blood. It wasn't common for him to smell that. It gazed at the boy. He was already terrified of the dragon's appearance. Talking would make it worse. It leaned closer, causing the boy to shriek and try to run. He was unsuccessful as he tripped and landed on his stomach. The dragon gazed at the small boy's back. The shirt and skin were clawed up and blood was still flowing. bruises covered the boy's entire backside. The boy started getting up, only to be pushed down by the dragon's large claw.
"Who did this to you?" The boy shuttered.
"M-My dad and step-family..." He tried to wiggle out of the dragon's grasp, but no avail. The dragon had fallen silent and the weight of the claw disappeared. He waited calmly before a small voice entered his ears.
"Why?" The boy turned to the voice.
"Who..." The boy was smaller than him. His eyes seemed to flicker every once in a while. The little one held out his hand.
"Black! And you are?"
"Blake..." He shyly took the hand. "Were you-"
"Eavesdropping? Nope. I'm the dragon that just disappeared." Blake studied Black for a moment before a tear raced down his cheek. The dragon hadn't left. He wasn't saved. Black noticed and wiped the tear away, surprising Blake. "Don't cry. It's never good to cry."
"Are you going to kill me?"
"Kill you? Why would I do that?"
"I've heard that you attack enemies-"
"Does that mean I'll attack you?" Black slipped behind him and nuzzled his back. Blake's face went pale upon the touch.
"I-is there a way that I-I can get out of death?"
"Of course!" Black climbed up and whispered into his ear. "You can stay with me. It'll help us both. You can get away from your abusive family and I won't be alone."
"Wait... you're lonely?" Black purred against his neck.
"I might be well respected, but I live alone..." Blake hesitated before reaching up and touching the smaller boy's head. Another purr escaped from him, a little more cheerful than the first.
"I'll stay..."
"Thank you..."
A girl raced to a small house and quickly opened the doors.
A boy turned and looked at her.
"Whitley? What's wrong?" She looked up as she stabilized her breathing.
"Gold... I can't find Blake. The last time I saw him, he was running from his house. He's completely gone!" He froze. He went over and grabbed her hand.
"Let's go!" They ran to another house where a girl stood worried.
"Quick! We have to go find Blake!" The girl nodded as they took off.

Hey guys! I hope that you enjoyed that. Very soon, this will become a group of stories. Shipping AUs. Maybe I'll make a series for it. Put in the comments if that's a good idea. I probably won't have this one. Here's what we'll do. Put down in the comments:
What other ships should I write about and what's the plot?
Should I make a Pokespe Kingdom series?
And should I put "An Old War" as one of the books or should I make a different Franticshipping story for the series?
Please put your thoughts in the comments.
Bye!
