I got to work on a Wednesday at 11. I walk in. My boss comes around the corner and deepens his voice," Uh, welcome to your first day of work here. Just so you know, I'm not your boss. My father owns the place. I'm your age though. You are 18, right?" I nod. Well, makes more sense. " Let me show you around," He says with a curtsy and a smile. I see Peter at the desk. He frowns and says," Lookey at you getting special treatment. I didn't get a curtsy or a tour. He must like you better than me," he looks at the guy than at me. He points at him telling me to go. I stop beside him and the guy says," My name is Jacob. I work here too." Jake gives me the tour than stops at a sign that says," Keep Out Or Suffer The Consequences!" He gives me a serious look and looks at the door. The mumbles," Never go in there! I've seen it. You do not wanna go in there." I giggle and say in an eerie voice," Ooo. Scary. I swear, now you're making me wanna go in there." He grabs my hand right as I'm about to open the door and pulls me away. " Just don't." I look at the door than at him. I nod and walk away.

That night I snuck into the store along with my best friend who knows how to get past alarms and locks. We get to the door and stop. She looks inside and says," There's no alarms so we may be able to unlock this door no problem." She takes a bobby pin out of her messenger bag and sticks it in the lock. She whispers," Perfect fit!" She twists the bobby pin a few times and we hear a click. I slightly turn the nob and walk in. We sneak over to the room that no one is supposed to go in and it's locked with two locks and a major alarm. Rocky shakes her head and looks at the alarm. She whispers in my ear," That is a major alarm system that if it see's anything or if it is disturbed it calls the cops. We need to find a sneaky way in there." She looks back up and I sneak over and look for a button to turn it off. I find a remote at the front desk and hit the off button. Rocky looks at me and says," Smooth! I would not have thought of that!" I laugh and whisper," We still have two locks to get past." Rocky nods and says," You don't have to whisper and hand me the pair bobby pins from my bag." I get them out and hand them to her. She looks at it and says," Ok there is one that is the same as the one at the first door. The second lock is gonna have to be opened with a really skinny screw driver. Good thing we came prepared. Get it out of my bag please." I open her bag and get the screw driver out. We get the door open and take a peek in. I tell Rocky to stay back and watch for anyone. She closes the door behind me and I turn the light switch on. I look around and see a burn on the wall. I examined it. It wasn't five minutes before I feel a hot breath on the back of my neck. I turn and find my self facing a scaly creature. I scream and the creature hides. Rocky opens the door and says," What happened? Are you ok?" I nod and point behind a box the creature is hiding behind. We sneak over and peek behind the box. It was dark there but I saw glowing blue eyes. I reach in and pull the creature out. I look at Rocky then at the creature. It was a dragon! No wonder they didn't want us in here. Rocky looks at it nervously and puts her hands on her eyes. I sigh and say," Its a baby. It won't hurt you!" I gently drag my hand down its back and it looks at me with cat-like eyes. I smile and search for its wings. There were none. I guessed that since it was a baby it would grow wings when it got older. I tell Rocky," search for any other dragons then we'll leave." She gives me worried look and says," We aren't taking these things are we?" I give her a cocked eye brow look and say,"Yes we are. And they don't belong here. They need a place where they get nurtured and when they get older they need to be in the sky's. So if you will, look for the rest!" She scurries over and looks. She yells at me," There a four more! They are all different kinds." I nod and say," put them in your bag and we'll take them home." We turn the locks back and turn on the alarm. We get in the car and put the dragons in the back seat. On our way home we talk it over and give them names. This will be the start of an amazing adventure!
