Yet the mighty dragon said

So noble and wise

"Do you really give up your loyalty

For such a prize?"

The boy was conflicted

And he knew all too well

He would be convicted

And be thrown in a cell

"No!" Screamed the boy

Fully out of breath

"I do this for my knighthood"

And so he raised his sword

Right where he stood

Before the boy could attack

The dragon asked once more

"How about some diamonds?

I know that you're poor."

The boy's cheeks were burning

And he looked at the ground

His loyalty was turning

But to his king he was bound
