Chapter 8

"-Oh yeah and since you awoke your dragon side, you'll be able to understand dragons. You might be able to understand animals too, not sure but I guess it's a possibility. Oh and-" Error stopped the Voice in their rambling, interested by what they just said. He stopped knitting his new clothes and looked up, as if expecting to see someone even though he knew he wouldn't. "I CaN tALK tO AnImAlS aNd DrAGOnS?"

Now that interested him. He always had a soft spot for animals after all. The Voice paused for a few seconds, probably surprised by his sudden intervention in their rambling. "Huh? Oh, yeah, of course! Well it's certain for dragons since your one of them, animals I'm not sure but I think you should be able too!"

"ThaT'S... A NiCe SURpRiSE." He smiled and continued to create his new outfit. "Well that's not really a surprise. I mean, Monsters can understand the dragon they're bound to, so would you if you had one. But since you are the dragon, it would be weird for you to NOT understand them." He shrugged. It made sense, the Voice was right.

"Now as I was saying... You should really start to think about our new names! There's probably a Error in this Multiverse and as much as I love you, I don't want to be called 'Voice' forever!" The Voice whined playfully, clearly not as bothered as they tried to seem like. Error simply hummed in response. He knew he should start to think about it, but he had no idea for names. He did try to find one, but he wasn't able to come up with one! He wasn't supposed to be the creative one!

Well he did thought of some possibilities for the Voice –none for him though, as he didn't really care for now and didn't need to introduce himself to anyone–, but he preferred to think more before proposing them... Even though he knew that the Voice probably already knew what he thought about since they were literally bound to his SOUL. Curse that bound, he would not be able to hide anything from that new part of him. He could feel the Voice make fun of him slightly from inside his SOUL, making him sigh in annoyance.

After a few more minutes, he was done with his new clothes and quickly put them on, not wanting to stay with a pants that bore a hole or with his ribs on full sight. He winced slightly when moving because of his injuries but didn't pay them any attention. He sigh happily when fully dressed and made a new mirror-like portal to look at the final result.

He was wearing a black shirt with three white stripes; one being diagonal and the other two being verticals. He had a dirty yellow shawl covering his shoulders, the neck part being black. The shawl was connected to a cape being mostly black with the interior being the same dirty yellow as the shawl. The black part was fading into a galaxy pattern at the end, some white dots places around to recreate stars. He wore a white belt with two golden buttons holding it around his waist. The belt was long, making it look like two belts were around his waist, one being slightly lower than the other. A red bow was tied around the left side of the belt, and red fabric was hanging from the belt, moving slightly with each of his movements. He wore a black pant that stopped slightly underneath his knees, showing his ruby colored tibia. He also had sneakers that were the same dirty yellow than the shawl, with white laces and a with diamond on it to decorate. To finish it all, he had made a blue bonnet with horns to cover his own horns, decorated with a golden and black emblem-like decoration whichlooked like a dragon's head. The inside being black and the outlines and pattern inside being a golden yellow. He also created an accessory; fake golden roses with a dirty yellow ribbon, that were attached to his right horn.

All in all, he was proud of his new style –which was good, he didn't spend a whole night trying different possibilities only to be disappointed by the final result–. The pants probably was the harder part, since he couldn't just leave a hole in case he summoned his tail, and didn't want to stitch it back together all the time. So he had to make it and then play with the codes so the pants will open and fix itself if he summon his tail. It wasn't hard pair say, but it took a bit of time. After that, he realized he would also need to do that for his shirt and his cape, making him groan in annoyance, but he still proceeded to do it. He even managed to do it faster since he already knew exactly what to change in the codes!

He twirled slowly, smiling at the sight of his cape and the red fabric swaying with his movement. He could feel the Voice being in awe at the sight of his new outfit, making him smile happily. And for once he wouldn't have to fear his clothes being destroyed by fights against the Squid or other Judges! That was the principal reason he didn't try to make new clothes for himself in his Multiverse; he knew they wouldn't last long, and therefore chose to just stitch back his clothes again and again. "Damn you look good Glitchy!"

Error laughed slightly, blushing softly in embarrassment. He wasn't used to being complimented by other persons than his loved ones back in his Multiverse, even if the Voice was a part of him and therefore it was like he was complimenting himself –which he would never do by the way, he didn't find anything to compliment on him–. He was more used of the insults actually. He scratched his neck nervously. "T-ThAnKS VoICe..."

He smiled after hearing the Voice groan silently after being called a voice. They both knew the Voice knew what names he thought of so far, and since the Voice didn't complain, they probably liked it, so calling them 'Voice' was really just teasing more than anything else. They both knew it. "Now if you're done calling me a Voice –which is very insulting since I'm way more than that, thank you very much–, we can start your training for the day!"

Error just nodded, summoning his wings right after and smiling when seeing that his modifications on the clothes worked; they didn't get ripped apart! That was nice. The Voice cleared their nonexistent throat, successfully gaining the past Destroyer's attention.

"You're going to start by trying to control your wings, since I noticed you had more trouble controlling them than with your tail." Error simply nodded and started to concentrate himself to make his wings move and, indeed, he had a bit of trouble doing so. He spent a few minutes trying to understand how those things worked and how to move them more naturally, but he managed in the end. Well... Sort of, he still needed to be concentrated, which wasn't good enough. If he was to fly –and damn he wanted to fly, that sounded wonderful–, he needed to control them like he control all his other limbs.

It was annoying that the wings were so difficult when his tail's movement were almost perfect from the very start, but it was understandable. The tail wasn't nearly as imposing as those wings. Plus, they took more magic to be made, of course it would need more effort to control them. It wasn't because he wasn't good at that –quite the opposite if he listened to the Voice's praises–, it just was complicated. It was like learning how to walk all over again... But with wings, and with the exception he didn't remember his time as a Babybone. Oh shit, he just imagined what he would look like as a baby. It was incredibly disturbing –but very cute, even if he would never think so of himself, he was a feared Destroyer, he couldn't be cute in any way!– but he pushed the thought aside. He needed to train, not to imagine himself as a baby!

After a few more minutes, he could perfectly control the movements of his wings without having to concentrate too much. Which was a great progress! "Perfect Error! Now for the flying part... Start by flapping your wings a little... I don't really know how to explain it, but your dragon instincts will help you, trust me!... I'm the worst teacher you could ever have, damn it."

He laughed at the Voice who seemed clearly done with all of those explaining but still wanted to do their job correctly –which was admirable, he wouldn't take that away from them–. He did as told and started to flap his wings gently. Then he began to do it faster, without even realizing it. "Nice Glitchy! You're doing great!"

A look of pure confusion flashed on his face, until he realized he had started to fly a little above the white floor of the Anti-Void... And as soon as he realized it, he fell to the ground.

He groaned slightly in pain before getting up, thanking once again the Deities for having healed most of his injuries. He knew that if they didn't, he would have lost a rib or two because of the impact. Not that he cared, he was disturbingly used to it by this point; it was more annoying than anything else, really.

"Uh... Are you okay? Maybe I shouldn't have said anything. Sorry if I distracted you Glitchy." Error waved his hand in a 'no problem' motion while sighing. "I HoNEStLy DiDn'T EvEn NoTiCe I WaS dOiNg ThAt. AnD yES, I'M oKaY, It TaKeS MoRe To GeT rId Of Me!" At the end of this sentence, he smirked slightly, thinking about how even the Void didn't kill him. Oh how he would like to rub that in Ink's face... He shook his head gently with a smile, getting back to his training.

And that was how he spent a few hours trying to understand how to fly, falling multiple times before managing to just float above ground. Now, the fun part. He could stay in the air, good, but he needed to be able to move in the air. That already sounded way too complicated for his lazy mind –he was still a Sans, nobody could judge him for having a lazy side–. Which didn't mean he wanted to take a nap, even if he was feeling lazy, he didn't need nor wanted to sleep.

It took him a few more hours and a few more falls to manage to fly correctly, but he succeeded, and he was quite proud of it. He let out a glitched laugh, flying around aimlessly with a big smile. It felt nice, exhilarating even! Was that how Crow felt while flying? Perhaps it was, he couldn't question him anymore –not like he ever would have been able to in his Multiverse–. Maybe he'll ask the Birdtale Sans –he didn't want to assume the Sanses had the same names as the ones he knew– of this Multiverse.

The Voice seemed just as happy, probably feeling his joy through their bound, and was laughing with him. They stayed like this for a few minutes, with Error flying around and almost getting tangled up in his own strings –and the ones of the Deities–. It did manage to give the Voice –and Error after he was done pouting– a good laugh.

He finally landed on the floor with a smile. "So... Do We TrY THe FuLL DrAGoN tRanSfOrMaTIoN NoW?" He felt the Voice nod. "Yep! Then we'll make a little pause of a few days I think, if you don't mind, and we'll work on your powers later. We don't want to overwhelm you with too much new things at once!" Error simply hummed in response. He had his strings and Blasters if he needed to fight, so a pause wouldn't be a problem for him. He wasn't defenseless.

"So now this is going to be a little complicated... You must focus on your SOUL and 'feel' your dragon side. Then you'll have to stay focused on it and imagine yourself becoming a dragon. You'll have to let the magic flow in your body, even if it feels weird. It will be weird, it will be different, but that means it's working. Do not lose your focus. After a while, you'll feel your magic stop to act weirdly, which will be the sign the transformation is done. Once you do it a first time, we'll work on controlling it better like we did with your dragon parts yesterday."

Error nodded and closed his eyes. He could do that, it didn't seem too hard. He started to focus on his SOUL's energy and smiled at the soft hum it was producing. He didn't know how he was supposed to feel his dragon side, so he stayed focus and let his SOUL and magic guide him. After a while, he felt something different, like a wild stock of pure magic only waiting to be awoken. He knew it was what he was searching for, so he focus all his attention on it for a few seconds before starting to imagine himself becoming a dragon.

As the Voice warned him, he felt his magic flow within his body differently than usual, which was indeed quite weird. He stayed focused, the Voice's instruction repeating themselves in his mind while doing so. He stayed like this for a few minutes, not daring to even move a finger in case it would stop the transformation. He did almost lose his focus multiple times, which was probably the reason why it was such a long process. After a while, the weird feeling suddenly stopped and he felt way taller. He guessed the transformation was done and he opened his eyes before looking around. Which wasn't that useful since it was him that changed, not the environment. But he did confirm he was taller by seeing his old clothes, that were hanging from his strings since he didn't know where to put them and didn't feel like trashing UnderFell today. He put them slightly above ground, not too high, but he was now clearly towering above them.

He was now seventeen feet tall and almost just as long. Which was big, even for him and his previous height. He didn't know if it was big in dragon standard but he didn't really care honestly. Plus, he was just a teenager now, so if he gained back he previous Multiverse's height, he could expect to become an even taller dragon. It was quite exciting for him, he likes to be taller than most. It was always fun to see how others reacted to his height. Plus it annoyed Ink, who was way smaller than him, and just for that, he was happy.

He created a new mirror-like portal –he was seriously considering leaving one open all the time at this rate– and gasped at the sight he saw.

As expected, he was a dragon. A big black dragon. His eyes were the same mismatched colors as always, and the part that would be white –or black for a skeleton– was still its ruby color. His tear marks and the white swirls were also still there. He opened his mouth and was happy to see his teeth were still their usual golden-like color, and that his tongues were still the same as always. His body was fully black, some parts fading to a soft red, like his stomach and his paws. His claw were the same citrine-like yellow than his fingers. There was some specks of white on his body, surprisingly. His tail was like the one he summoned previously, just bigger. Overall, he was an impressive dragon, and he was happy with that.

"Oh my Toby Fox, look at you! You're so cute! I'm so proud of you Glitchy!" Error blushed slightly and shook his head. "I'm NoT CuTe!"

"Yes you are! Well now, we can train you to control your transformation more easily. Then you will try to fly in this form, and we'll work on the speech because you can chose in this form if you're understandable or if you just sound like an angry lizard!... Well some people, like the other Monster that is also a dragon, will understand you anyway but still, it's good to know." He felt extremely offended at being called an 'angry lizard', and he only was a dragon for less than a week.

The next few hours were consecrated on learning how to transform faster, which he managed to do quite quickly after a few tries, and flying around in the Anti-Void. It was surprisingly easy, probably because he already learned how to fly in his part dragon form. The Voice then tried their best to make him learn how to alternate his speech, which was weird because even if he could feel that something was different, it still sounded the same to him. But the Voice said he was doing great so it was probably okay. Once they were done, Error sighed and sat down in the Anti-Void.

"So...We'Re DoNe FOr ToDAy? AnD wE'Re DoiNG a PaUsE BeFoRe StARTiNg To WoRk ON mY MaGiC?" The Voice hummed in agreement. "Yep, you did way better than I expected honestly. But you were really fast, I want you to have some time to adapt really to everything before we start to train your magic. It's probably useless since you're a God and all but I think we shouldn't do everything so fast... You already mastered everything in less than a week, what I am supposed to do once you learn everything?! I'm supposed to teach you things you would probably have learned by yourself very well! What did the Deities think when they made me for Toby Fox's sake?! I-"

"CaLM DoWN." Error cut the Voice's rambling, smiling gently. "EvEN iF YoU hAVe NoThING tO TeACh ME, I ENjoY tALkINg WiTh You, sO iT'S OkAy! AnD I FeEl LiKe TaKiNg a BrEaK ANyWay, I lEaRnEd So MaNy NeW ThInGs SiNcE ThE VoID'S INcIdEnt... So, hOw LoNg?"

He could almost see the Voice jump in happiness in his mind after saying this, making him smile fondly. By Toby Fox, he really grew to like this Voice quickly. "Well I'd say between... Three days and a week, perhaps? Well three days at least. What do you say?"

He hummed softly, thinking. "ThReE dAYs SeEM GoOD, I'M gONnA uSe ThEm To ViSIt DrAgOnTaLE a BiT mOrE SiNCE I diDn'T mEeT ANy MoNsTeR yEt... BuT wHAt If I AccIdEnTlY UsE My... DrAgOn MaGIc? If I dOn'T CoNTrOl iT, It WIlL Be BaD, nO?"

The Voice answered and he could feel that they would be smiling if they had a body. "I don't think it will happen honestly, plus, even if it is powerful, this magic shouldn't be as destructive as your own, so you don't have to be afraid of destroying everything. Actually, if that happen, you'll certainly manage to control it instinctively, and it would be a good training. Really, it's not that hard and maybe I make it seems like a big thing but it's nothing compared to what you used to do in your Multiverse... I don't want you to hope for something amazing and be disappointed, ya know?"

Error just laughed. "HoW dO YoU wAnT Me To Be DiSApPoINTeD? I DIdN't EvEN eXPeCT to BeCoME a FuCkINg DrAGoN. It AcTuALlY OuTmAtCh AlL My ExPeCtAtIoNS. I tHoUGHt I wOuLD DiE WhEn InK pUsHeD mE InTO tHe VOId, aND YeT hErE I Am, lEArNiNG HoW to BE a DrAgOn!"

The Voice seemed quite happy and relieved to hear that, but didn't answer. He opened a portal to Dragontale and walked in, deciding to try and find a village without using the codes to guide himself. If he had too much trouble, he would just fly above the jungle. "Oh, By ThE wAY, WhAt Do YoU tHinK aBouT tHe NaMe PsYcHe?"

"FINALLY BITCH, I THOUGHT YOU'D NEVER ASK!! I love it!" Error could only laugh in response, sensing how happy the Voi-Psyche was to not being called a Voice anymore –and also that Error finally suggested this damn name–. "Now you just need to find yourself a name Glitchy!"

Error hummed in response, thinking about his future name. "YeAH, It WoUld Be NiCe BuT I HaVe No IdEa FoR NoW." He shrugged. "WeLP It'S nOt UrGeNt."

"You will look stupid if you meet someone and can't introduce yourself." Error simply giggled, imagining the scene. "YoU'Re RiGHt... BuT wHeN Am I nOt StUpID?" He swore he felt something smack the back of his head, making him jump in surprise. "No self-depreciating jokes Error!"

Error only laughed quietly in response, starting to walk around aimlessly while thinking of a name for himself. He was happy with Psyche, who he considered more like a friend than a simple Voice anymore.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Voice finally got a name ^^
I think that I never wrote the word 'Voice' as much as I did since they appeared- x)
If I ever get the time to do it, I'll try to draw what Error looks like because this description is terrible-
Anyway I hope that you enjoyed this chapter!
Lunar's out!~
