Damon's pov
Ember told me I have to act normal or the wolves will kill me. I told her I would try. I don't want leave her. She's my mate. I don't care if she's a wolf or not. I will still love her. Even if it means I have not act like a dragon. I'm not going to leave my mate. I know I sound crazy but I don't care.

"Damon. Are you ok?" Ember ask me as she put her hand on my arm. I jump alittle as she touches me. "Yes. I'm ok." I said calming down. "Ok I didn't know. You looked worried." Ember said. I look at her. I am worried about the dragons finding me and her and hurting us. Or the wolves killing me. "I am worried." I said lowering my head. "Why?" Ember ask. "I'm worried the dragons will hurt you because you're my-" I was cut off by a deep growl. I look at Ember as she jump towards me. The growl must have scared her.
