*time skip* *9 years later*
I was getting ready for the afternoon Today is my 17th birthday. I wasn't happy about that. I was happy because today Alex, Jase,Teddy,and my newest friend Winter the good vampire princess could come on a trip to the haunted house in the dragon kingdom. Legend said no one could survive that house. A demonic dragon has haunted it. The real reason I want to go is. To show Alex I'm not scared. She thinks I can't do it. I usually run pasting this house. I want my young mate to know I have changed. I'm braver now. Alex the 14 year old werewolf is my mate. She doesn't know it yet. I don't think she feels the bond. I'm not going to tell her. I'll wait for her. She and her boyfriend broke because he was abusing her. He hit her and left marks on her. Her dad Zander, brothers and I took care of him.

It was finally time to go to the house. I was a Little scared to do this but I promised Alex I would. "You want to turn back now. You big chicken." Alex joked with me. I could tell she was just messing around. We always mess with each other. "No. I'm fine. Now let's do this. My mini size friend." I said walking to the door. Alex gave me that look. She is normally height for a 14 year old werewolf. She's the shortest person here. I'm just tall. So many werewolves are short than me. The five of us walked into the dark and creepy house...........
