We had stopped with the sword about an hour ago and my magic capabilities were now at the mercy of my father.
As the woman were the Warriors in battles the men were usually the mages unless they were good in both, like me.
ICE was back on my shoulder and my father's familiar sat at his side.
His familiar was a large Sun lion, which gave him powers of sunlight and fire, I even bet he could ride his familiar if he wanted to.
But thinking about that I realized he probably already had.
The sun lions name was Gold, short for Goldstein.
We faced off throwing power balls at each other but we both dodged them and the battle continued.
I sent ice at him, being careful not to make it sharp so it wouldn't hurt him but he just melted it in midair.
ICE what do I do?
I sent the thought to him.
Try sending a telekinesis wave at him, he won't be able to dodge it but don't make it too powerful.
I shoved at the air with my hands and a blue wave of energy erupted from my hands and flipped him up into the air before he crashed onto the ground.
I rushed to his side and he pushed himself up off of the ground.
"Are you okay?" I grabbed his elbow and guided him closer to mom and Thoreth.
"I'm fine." He said and he looked at mom.
"Honey, I don't think you need any training if your going to win this war." My mom voiced her thoughts and looked at me then dad, and then Thoreth.
"What, why not? I can always get better."
"That's the thing you just beat both me and your dad, with us by your side there's no way we can lose unless we are purely overrun."
I gasped, were they crazy?
"I think your ready."
