Moon POV

I woke up feeling warm all over and so, so happy, then I opened my eyes and saw Qibli's wings wrapped around both me and Kinkajou! I quickly crawled out from under his warm protective wings and sat there breathing hard and blushing for a while, than i decided to go get some food also flying would help clear my head, so I  took off into the air and went to search for food.
It didn't take long dispite not being out much I am still and amazing hunter and I killed two goats and found a bunch of bananas, i carried the food back and tried not to think about how Qibli had a wing wrapped around me and how awkward it made me feel usually accidentally bumping into someone or any physical contact doesn't bother me but with Qibli it was different which was absurd he was one of my best friends, it confused me maybe it's just because I haven't slept in a big pile with my friends in a long time, yes! That's it, it must be!!!
I flew back to our campsite quickly and saw that Kinkajou was just getting up.
I landed softly on the ground and tossed the large cluster of bananas at the sleepy kinkajou, I was so glad she was here, my best friend. She yawned and her scales turned several bright neon colours before settling as her usual banana yellow and raspberry pink, kinkajou looked up at me smiling as she dug into her breakfast, those bananas never stood a chance.
So how was your sleep? I asked
Oh!! Great!!! I'm honestly so excited to see Jade mountain again!!!!!
I grinned me too!!! And see everyone!! It's been so long and I can ask Winter to come too he said he'd be in this part of world....

Kinkajou's POV
What?!! Winter went to see Moon, but not the rest of us?? That's not cool at all.
That's what I though but instead all I said was, oooooooooooh!!!! Moon's got boy friend!!!! Moon blushed and said said yeah, he's been visiting me in the night kingdom every couple weeks and we go flying and last time he left he gave me this necklace, she blushed happily fingering the beautiful moonstone on a silver chain, and I felt my heart sink.

Does Qibli know??? He's not going to like this. I'm happy for Moon and Winter but,
oh poor Qibli
This might turn into a fight between Winter and Qibli, this could destroy their friendship.

But I just smiled at Moon and said well as your best friend I'm just glad your happy!! Moon smiled and scooped me into a bear hug, I'm so glad your here Kinkajou, I've missed being able to talk to you. I laughed and we chattered aimlessly as we ate, we stopped halfway through breakfast to wake Qibli up, I'd almost forgotten about him when He muttered 'get lost rattlesnake I don't have time to talk'
Me and Moon Glanced at each other and snickered then I grabbed one of my bananas and smacked him across the snout with the banana, he woke up with a start instantly on the attack he pinned me down and raised his tail ready to strike when he saw it was me he quickly pulled me up looking horrified that he'd almost hurt me, then I started laughing than Moon and Qibli,
I guess next time i said I'll try not to wake you up by beating you with fruit!!
