Barely able to open one of your eyes from swelling, you began hobbling towards the fight. It was buried deep within your soul, the fact that you didn't know when to give up. It also wasn't something you'd done. This was an unusual situation, that someone in the room, is stronger than you, that you needed to fight.

"(f/n), stay back!" Laxus called out as he noticed you now back on your feet.

"Looks like I didn't finish you!" Hades laughed manically "Why do you even fight...you have no one...the lost dragonslayer of Phantom Lord!" cackling at your pitiful state, as you clench your fists walking forward practically dragging your leg behind you.

"I never knew the pain I had cause people...I never felt pain before today....and now I know that I have so much to learn!" your words were loud for all to hear as tears of rage from your starey eyes. "I'll do whatever I can and even if I lose my life, I swear I will take you with me!" growling as you lift your face, the colour of your eyes changing to the glittering silver of a star.

"Tch! Just a fly!" the man commented as you raise your arms to the heavens, all your magic power channelling into the stars in the daylight sky.

"Star Dragon Secret Art: Starfall!" It was taking everything you had left as you called out. Dropping to your knees a the area above the man starts to glow and floating balls of gas rain down on the man. "That's all I had left!" you smirk as the room is filled with a brilliant white, making everyone hold their eyes closed for a second.

However, upon reopening them they see that man still stood there a few scratches on him as you barely hold yourself up. "All that potential wasted on a brat like you...with no family or friends...not even a guild would want you!" the man turns fed up with this fight as tears begin to flow from your eyes.

"Oh yeah, old man...I'll think you'll find that she is my family!" Laxus calls out as you glistening eyes turn to the man who you'd spent the last month or so with. "And you hurt my family...now I'm going to hurt you!" it was all a flash of lights that your mind couldn't comprehend what was happen until you saw Laxus on his knees, and a large black ball of magic sailing towards him.

The adrenaline pushed through your body, seeing the man that said you were his family about to capture. Your body moving before you even thought about it. Hearing his old guildmates and your mate Natsu call out to the muscular blonde man's name, knowing he had grown up with a lot of the people in the room.

"LAXUSSSSSSSS!" you called out as he glanced at you before he felt you grab him to push him out of the way of the blast that hit you square in the back, catching the blondes leg. The sound of Hades rejoicing. Then he noticed Laxus there with you lying barely consciously in his arms, pure rage in his eyes as sparks of lightning came off him.

"Idiot, take a nap whilst I sort this yeh?" he looked down at you as you couldn't respond, the feeling of being drained of magic in your body. It was the weakest you had ever felt in your life but yet you felt strong. 

You'd had protected someone you cared for. Leaning down the man kissed your head, as Natsu saw this, pain and jealously ran through his body but he knew this wasn't the time or the place to discuss what you were to Laxus.

As you were placed carefully on the floor the world went black, a dreamless sleep taking over your being. If you have stayed awake you'd have seen Laxus give his power to Natsu to create the lightening flame dragon but unfortunately you didn't know that Fairytail had been successful.

When it was over Laxus picked you up putting you in his lap "Stop sleeping...I know you're awake!" his rough voice called out as you opened an eye.

"Got any food?" you smirk as he chuckles at you. Sitting up hugging him, not realising that Natsu was staring straight at you as he rejoiced with his guildmates.

"Oi..." about to shout to you as your face turns to face the pink-haired man you hear someone calling for help. Turning you see a blue, white and black cat being chased by a hoard of evil guild members. Your eyes wide from being out of power, everyone knows they are as well.

Lost in the moment, you're snapped out by the master of Faiytail calling out to them leave Tenrou Island, looking up you see Laxus's face drop into a scowl. "You ok?" you place a hand on his cheek as he holds you close.

"Yeh, I'll be ok!" Smirking down to you, the two of you sit there in silence as the guild all cheer in celebration. The feeling of not belonging crossing your face, the only one who you deemed to be your only friend holding you close as his grandfather comes to walk near you.

Trying to not get in on the moment you had your face in the man's chest as he takes an earful off his Grandfather for trespassing on Tenrou Island. 'I told him I shouldn't be here'.

That's when you are spoken to directly. "I see your path crossed with Fairytail once more, child. As I have advised before, our door will always be open, if you decide to become a part of the family." Looking at the old man, your eyes then sweep across the members that are there.

First, you see Gajeel who smiles at you, then Mira-Jane, Lucy, Happy, Levy then finally the land on Natsu who stops what he is doing and begins walking over, holding a hand out towards you. Then you look up to Laxus who is smiling down at you. "Looks like we might be parting ways sooner than we thought, huh?" Smirks-ing at you as you sigh.

"I'm sorry but I'm just a passing traveller!" you explain, turning your back on your mate once more, who is about to yell at you. Luckily for you though but his exhaustion kicks in after arguing with Gajeel about some trials.

"Well, we shall see. Come now we can at least feed you and heal you before the two of you go on your way!" the man smiles, in his eyes a glint of mischief as you nod. That's when three people run up crying about Laxus being back, hugging him and you by default before eventually pulling away.

"Come on, get on my back!" the blonde comments as you slowly move your way around, clinging to his strong neck, as he tries to get up but is fatigued from the fight.

"We'll help!" a man with long green hair comments as Laxus looks at him with a nod.

"We will to won't we babies!" a man with a mask comment as the floating wooden totem parts repeat. They allow the blonde to place an arm over their shoulder as they help him to walk as you cling to his back.

As you pass Natsu sleeping, you smile to yourself, but Lucy sees it knowing that you want more than anything to be with the pink-haired man. 'I need to get them alone' she thought to herself trying to think of a way to unite you, to at least not run away and talk to the man before deciding to leave him again.

The blonde and the blue cat had both seen how much Natsu was dying to see you at least once more, to get the chance to get to know you and you to know him. Neither of them understands the strength of being mates, its as if you could go through life or eternity, but your road will always lead you to them over and over again. 

No matter how many times the two of you try to refuse the fact your path are entwined. Natsu had already accepted you as his mate, but you wanted him to truly know you before he made the mistake in your hours of being together.

As you were carried you listened to the chatter around you, all of the guild members laughing and joking together. Even Laxus was involved with the conversations, but you felt like an outsider that you were or had never been a member of Fairytail, so you didn't understand what it felt like to be considered as a family to these people.

As you saw the clearing, the camp was laid out the men carrying Laxus put him down, as you crawled into his knee feeling vulnerable. The thing is the blonde who you held could see you needed to be a part of this guild, he saw how you watched the members with such curiosity.

The night you'd nearly mated, you'd explained to him your childhood and how your old guildmates all feared you, apart from a select few and how no one questioned your actions but also how lonely you had truly been apart from Gajeel and Juvia.

"You hungry?" a sweet voice commented one you recognised and as you looked up, the big blue eyes of Mira-Jane looked down at you. "It's been a while hasn't it (f/n)?" she smiled as you nodded. "I see you found, Laxus!" the way the woman said his name and when you looked at his face, it was clear to see that she was his mate, but he had never told her.

Glancing at the blonde he smirked, "Yeh she's hungry, thanks, Mira." He smiled at the woman who nodded, passing you a bowl of stew to you and the man who you sat on. As you grabbed it you place a hand on hers.

"Thank you Mira-Jane. I'm glad to see you didn't get hurt, but you need to stop feeding strays" you mumble as she giggles.

"I don't see a stray, just someone that hasn't found where she belongs or has she but she refuses to accept it." The woman nodded as she looks at Laxus before going to hand more food out.

"So...Mira's your mate, huh?" you whisper making him choke on his stew.

"Shut it!" he snaps making you laugh a few people looking at the two of you interact. "Yeh and you didn't tell me Natsu was yours..." he smirked back as you hit him with your spoon.

"Shut it!" you pout before laughing. "That would have been awkward, huh?" you wiggle your eyebrows.

"Tell me about it! Now eat get your strength then it's time to go yeh!" the tone in his voice is different but you're not sure what he is saying. When in fact the blonde intends to leave you in the care of his former guild, as he knew better than anyone that you belonged with the rowdy bunch even if you wouldn't admit it to yourself.
