Milo's POV-

I looked at the child called Nuri. He was walking behind Loki and I along with the female child. It was hard to believe such a frail form could contain something as powerful as the Draconis Eye. Loki caught me looking at them and shoved my snout forward.

"Don't even think about it." He said and rested his hand on my head.

I quietly mumbled so the two followers wouldn't hear, "but it would be something quite interesting to study. And my eye seems to be trebling in the presence of the Draconis eye." I could feel something in my heart trembling.

"Then turn back to your human form so you use less of its power," Loki suggested, shrugging.

"You only want me to do that so you can mock me because I'm short," I hisses back, flicking my tongue in and out.

Loki gave me an innocent smile. "That might be one of the reasons."

I turned a corner, making sure to let my tail snake behind me so Nuri and the girl didn't get lost. My eyes fell back on the two being us. I could just barely hear them whispering to one another over Loki's non-stop talking.

"I did what?" Nuri asked the girl.

"You.... turned into a dragon... like thing," she answered, looking at the floor. I could see that most of the stress of her wondering if her friend was going to be ok, and it was replaced with confusion and fear.

"It's normal for humans to fear us." I said back to Nuri.

He looked at me, then the girl and frowned. "What do you mean, 'us'?"

I rolled my eyes, and let steam out of my nose, annoyed. "I understand your caretaker did not do the appropriate explaining of your situation." I looked at Loki and he gave me another innocent smile, rubbing the back of his neck.

I stopped and turned back to the child. I circled him, my eyes glowing. My vision changed so everything was a shade of blue with two glowing, yellow orbs with orange outlines. One was where Loki's heart is, and the other orb was in Nuri's hand. I sniffed it. "Your eye," I saw the girl perk when I said 'eye', "is in the incorrect spot. It should reside within your heart so you can become one, gaining its power."
