Royalty
Current Queen: Queen Opal

Current Princesses: Princess Ruby, Princess Emerald, and Princess Sapphire(shown above)
Royalty are usually very strong with their powers more so than most GemWings. They often have more than one ability/ power. Royalty usually have their gemstone all over their undersides.
Abilities
There are many types of abilities. But with those abilities come levels of powers. So let's say a Ruby and a Carnelian. They are both fire based gems, but a Carnelians fire would be stronger than a Ruby's unless the Ruby is royalty. Their scales are as strong as the gem is in reality, so let's say a diamond would have the hardest scales ever.
Hierarchy
Basically, the more common your gem is the lower ranked it is. So a pearl would be used as a slave or servant.
Amplifiers
If a Gemwing finds the Gem stone they were named after, their powers get a boost. Considering how big it is or how close it is to you, the more it amplifies your power.
Name
Each Gemwing is named after a gem. They are usually that color, so an Amethyst would be purple etc.,

Inform on Royalty
Queen Opal: Thought to be the strongest GemWing ever, she is a foe to be reckoned with. Her mastery over her three powers: water, ice and healing are impeccable. She is pure white at first glance but in the sunlight or squinting, she glimmers with pinks and green and blue and light cerualeans. She is the most powerful water controller. She is very cam and elegant , graceful beyond compare. She is smart and thoughtful and quiet .

King Tanzanite: Though not as powerful as Opal, this king is a tough opponent. He can control Lightning and Wind adeptly. He is a blue-violet color. He is the most powerful Lightning Controller.

Princess Sapphire: Thought of as to be the smartest dragon in all of the Gemwing kingdom, Sapphire is very smart. She sees many different paths of the future, just like clearsight. Along with that, she also has her mothers power of water, although no nearly as skilled. When she gets nervous, she tends to freeze up. She is the eldest of her two sisters.

Princess Ruby: Thought of as to be the strongest princess. She is strong physically and is very powerful. Her control over fire and magma is exceptional. She is very hot headed and temperamental, like her father. She is the middle child. Her intelligence is average.

Princess Emerald: Thought of as to be the prettiest princess. She is quite cute and adorable. Her control over nature and animals is very powerful. She is usually flirty and not very smart. She is the youngest of the three.
