Hey guys! I've been away the weekend on a school sponsored trip, "Integration weekend" with the whole high school, and we were basically in the middle of nowhere, which meant no signal. NO!!!! To make matters worse, the food sucked and everyone was sick, including me. Boo! Other than that it was pretty fun. There was outdoor laser tag, kayaking (in a pond), tubing (sort of, on a slide?), and a bunch of other stuff. I played night volleyball the one night we were there with a bunch of people in my grade, and even though we were goofing around a lot and what we were playing real volley ball, it was still really fun. Except that friend Jacques sprained his toe by hitting it on the concrete under the field... and he was sick... I felt very bad for him. Also there was this rope bridge thing hanging over a bridge as well but I didn't do it because it was the last day and I didn't want to fall in that muck which was a real possibility cause all the boys were trying to shake people off. Anyway, you guys probably don't care and are only here for the story. Sheesh, people these days. XD And without further ado, here is chapter 16.

It was evening now and Lucy had left her last class early to go to the library and meet up with Levy and Romeo. Erza, Gray, and Cana were walking up the stairs with her. A drunken Cana was teasing Gray about Juvia while he was beet red, and Erza was just blushing as she listened. She had a way of somehow involving herself in things like this. Lucy was half listening as she was more occupied with what Romeo, Levy, and Lucy were going to do about their situation. As they arrived in front of the library doors, Lucy saw Romeo standing there awkwardly, his hand going towards the doorknob then backing away again. Towards it and back again, towards and back again. Apparently he was very nervous about this meeting, so Lucy decided to snap him out of his trance.

"Hey, Romeo-kun!" Lucy greeted coming up to him.

He jumped up in surprise and looked at her.

"Oh, it's just you, Lucy-nee," he sighed in relief.

"Well, well, who is this?" Erza asked, stepping forwards.

Romeo gulped and stood a little straighter.

"I'm Romeo Conbolt, ma'am. A guard in training."

"Well, it's very nice to meet you, Romeo. My name is Erza Scarlet."

"Nice to meet you too, Erza-nee."

Erza smiled and Cana came up to him and slung an arm around Romeo.

"Well, aren't yooouuu just the cuuutest," she slurred, pinching his cheeks.

Romeo scrunched his nose in distaste.

"You smell like alcohol."

"Cana's always drunk," Gray said patting him on the shoulder. "You get used to it after a while."

"Yup," Lucy agreed. "Now let's go in."

Lucy opened the doors, and yelled, "Levy-chan!!!"

"LU-CHAN!!!" Levy screeched even louder than her.

Levy tackled Lucy in a hug, making Lucy effectively fall on her bum. This seemed to happen every time she came here.

"Levy-chan..." Lucy complained.

"Gomen, Lu-chan," Levy apologized, sheepishly rubbing the back of her head. "I just haven't seen you in a while."

"I know, I'm sorry, Levy-chan. Everything's just been a bit... hectic lately," Lucy said, emphasizing the word hectic.

Levy immediately seemed to get the message and stood up.

"Yeah, it's cool. I understand. Let's go catch up, shall we?" Levy said offering her hand.

"We shall," Lucy said, hooking her arm with Levy's. "But I also need to introduce you to somebody."

Lucy hooked her arm with Romeo's and dragged him along with her. Levy gave Lucy a questioning look but went along with it. Everyone else in the room gave them questioning stares, but let them go do their thing. When they got to a secluded part of the library, they unhooked arms and Lucy turned to Romeo.

"Alright, Romeo. First off, I want to tell you that everything went smoothly with Laxus."

Romeo sighed in relief, and Lucy ruffled his hair. He was just too cute! He was like the cute little brother she had always wanted!

"Uh, now I'm confused," Levy said, eyebrows furrowed.

Lucy turned to both of them and cleared her throat.

"Allow me to explain. Levy-chan, this is Romeo. He's the one who saved Wendy."

Levy's eyes widened at this and she turned to Romeo.

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah," Romeo said, blushing slightly because of all the attention.

"Oh, Gajeel is gonna be so happy!" Levy squealed, pumping her fist in the air.

"Quiet, Levy-chan. This is a library remember?" Lucy asked playfully.

"Oh, piss off and let me have my fun," Levy said.

Lucy just stared at her, dumbfounded. Did she just say, piss off?

"Levy-chan," Lucy said, putting her hands on her friend's shoulders. "You have to stop seeing Gajeel."

"What? Why?" Levy asked, clearly confused.

"Levy-chan... You just told me to piss off."

Levy took a couple seconds to think before she gasped dramatically and got down on her knees in front of a very shocked Lucy.

"I am so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so sorry, Lu-chan!" Levy cried.

Romeo glanced back and forth at Levy and Lucy.

"I-It's ok, Levy-chan! Please get up, it feels strange having you bow down in front of me!" Lucy said frantically, tugging her petite bluenette off of the floor.

"I am going to rinse my mouth out with soap when I get home, along with Gajeel's foul mouth," Levy muttered.

Lucy and Romeo sweat-dropped.

"Levy-nee, Lucy-nee..." Romeo said.

"Yes?" They asked, both turning to him.

"You guys are really weird," he stated bluntly.

"We know," they said, bowing their heads.

Romeo sweat-dropped again.

When they had recollected themselves, Lucy moved on to more serious matters.

"Now, I don't know if Gajeel and Wendy told you guys how they got hurt?" she asked, eyeing them both.

Romeo nodded his head with a grave look on his face while Levy shook hers sadly.

"Ok, I know Gajeel should tell you on his own, Levy-chan, but this is too important."

Levy's eyes immediately sparked with curiosity, although still retaining some hurt in them.

"Levy-chan," Lucy sighed. "I'm sure Gajeel trusts you, he just hasn't told you because it's painful for him and he just wants to protect you. Even I had to fight Natsu a bit for him to open up and tell me," she said reassuringly.

"Yeah, ok," she said, smiling again.

"Good, now to brief Levy in and to see if Wendy and Natsu gave the same information, I'm going to say what I know," she said, looking pointedly at the two of them.

They nodded and focused all of their attention on her.

"Okay, Natsu told me that Gajeel, Wendy, and him, along with their three exceeds, were fighting a dragon named Acnologia who has been trying to take over their territory for a year now. All of their parental dragons disappeared somehow when they were juts kids on the same day, so it's been a struggle to defend themselves. Are you two with me?" she asked, to make sure that they understood what she was talking about.

"Gajeel had told me that Metallicana, his parent, disappeared when he was a kid, so I know that part. I'm glad he at least told me that..." she muttered dejectedly.

Romeo put a comforting hand on Levy's shoulder and she smiled at him.

"Wendy told me all about that damned Acnologia, and Carla, her exceed."

"Alright, good. There's one more thing I'm not sure you guys know about. There are two other ryus still out there named Sting and Rogue that had been recovering from a previous battle and so were not fighting in the one that took down Natsu and the others."

"Gajeel told me about them, now I know why he seemed so worried when he talked about them," Levy said, snapping her fingers.

"Wendy didn't tell me about them! Must've slipped her mind," Romeo said, thinking.

"Now that we're all on the same page," Lucy said. "We really need to figure out a way to get them to heal faster!"

"But how?" Romeo asked. "I mean, Wendy has healing powers, but she can't heal herself, and it's too risky to transport her. She can't really walk that well right now."

"Neither can Gajeel," Levy sighed. "He's actually getting pretty annoyed staying in my house all day."

"I bet, Natsu's outside so he's okay for the time being, but he's pretty bored all day since he can't walk. He's managed to stand up though! Which is definitely progress!" Lucy said optimistically.

"But it's still not going fast enough for the problem at hand," Levy said, speaking aloud the thought each of them was thinking.

They stayed silent for a moment, thinking. Then Romeo snapped up and exclaimed, "Why don't we go ask Porlyusica!"

"That's a great idea, Romeo-kun!" Lucy said, bringing said boy into a hug.

"Yeah! Wait, how do you know Porlyusica if you just started working here?" Levy asked.

"I got lost and stumbled into her infirmary..." he trailed off, shuddering at the memory.

Levy and Lucy both put their hands on his shoulders saying, "We feel your pain."

All three of them took a moment to shudder, recalling their unhappy encounters with Porlyusica.

"Well, let's go see her, I guess..." Levy said dejectedly.

They all sighed and went to the front of the library.

"Jet, Droy, we need to go do something and it might take a while, hold the fort okay?" Levy said.

"What? Where are you going, Levy-chan?!" Jet cried.

"Why do you have to leave us?!" Droy wailed.

They were on their knees in front of her, gripping onto the ends of the lavender dress she was wearing.

"Come on guys, I'll be right back," Levy said, rolling her eyes.

"But you've been keeping away from us so much lately!!" They wailed again, gripping onto her dress more and Lucy actually thought they might rip it.

"What do you mean? I spend all day here with you guys," Levy said, tilting her head in confusion.

"You don't even let us in your house anymore! And you zone out even when you're not reading nowadays!"

Levy blushed at that last part as her eyes started to glaze over and a happy expression came onto her face. Probably thinking about Gajeel, Lucy thought to herself. I've never seen anyone make Levy so happy.

"She's doing it again!" They exclaimed.

"Hmm..." Cana said coming over. She took a swig of whatever alcohol she had in her canteen and studied Levy's unblinking face.

"I see..." she said, nodding.

"What is it, Cana?" Erza asked, stepping over with Gray not far behind.

"Levy's got a boy," Cana said, smirking.

"WHAT?!" Everyone besides Lucy and Cana yelled, snapping Levy out of her daze.

"Mhm," Cana said, taking another swing from her bottle. "All the symptoms are there."

"What?! What?! What's going on?!" Yelled a very confused Levy.

"You've got a boy!!" Everyone but Lucy and Cana once again exclaimed.

"W-What? Pfft... A-As if... I don't even know what you're talking about," Levy said, crossing her arms and turning away to hide the blush on her cheeks.

"I can't believe Levy's cheating on me!!" Jet and Droy cried simultaneously.

"No, she cheated on me!" They said, glaring at each other.

"No, me!"

"No, me!"

"No, me!"

"Me!"

"Me!"

"ME!"

"ME!"

"Would you two shut the fuck up!!" Levy screamed, her hands balled into tiny fists at her sides.

Jet and Droy clamped their mouths shut and gawked at the petite bluenette who was fuming in frustration.

"Oh my Mavis!" Gray said, the first to speak after the shock. "Our sweet little bookworm just said the 'f' word! The world is ending!!" he screamed dramatically, falling to his knees.

Erza hugged Levy to her heavily armored chest, resulting in a bonk sound, and started crying saying, "My baby's all grown up!!"

Levy just gave up and let them go on with their rantings as Jet and Droy held each other and cried on the floor. Lucy was laughing her ass off at the sight in front of her and Cana was congratulating Levy and offering her a drink that Levy looked like she was seriously considering.

"So what's his name?" Erza asked once she had calmed down, although she was still weirdly stroking Levy's head.

"I-I don't have to tell you," Levy made the mistake of saying to Erza.

What. Did. You. Just. Say?" Erza asked, tilting her head at Levy as she seemed to grow with a menacing aura around her.

Levy shrank back and tried to make herself smaller than she already was.

"N-Nothing," she squeaked.

"And what is his name?" she asked, keeping the same tone.

"G-Gajeel..." she muttered reluctantly.

Erza seemed satisfied with her answer and reverted to her normal self.

"I see, well I must meet him at some point."

Lucy saw Levy start to panic and she stepped in for her.

"Yeah, but he lives really far away, up in the mountains and he doesn't really like people all that much."

"Oh, that's too bad. Hopefully with you around he'll start to like people more and then we can meet him," Erza said, totally believing the bogus excuse Lucy made up.

"Yeah, I want to meet this Gajeel guy. I mean, he's probably the one who taught her all those swear words, so I gotta meet him," Gray said as he unzipped his pants.

"Gray, your pants," everyone said, sweatdropping.

"Ah, damn it!!" he cursed.

Erza: Hello.

Meena: Erza! Can I have one of your infamous hugs?!

Erza: Of course, Meena. *pulls Meena into a bone-crushing hug against her armor.*

Meena: *Erza realeases her* I-I think I have a concussion...

Erza: Nonsense! I give great hugs!

Meena: No, you don't...

Erza: WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?!!!

Meena: Waah! I'm sorry, Erza! Please don't kill me!! (Wow I sound like Natsu now) I have cake!!

Erza: *stops all action to kill stupid Meena who got on her bad side* You do?

Meena: Yes, yes, and your favorite kind too! Strawberry cake! *quickly writes strawberry cake into the interview*

Erza: AAH! THIS LOOKS SO DELICIOUS!! Thank you, Meena. For this, you deserve another hug.

Meena: No, please don't! I mean... I don't want to hold you back from your cake. Go ahead, eat.

Erza: Why thank you for being so thoughtful.

Meena: Of course. Now, what are your thoughts on Nalu, Erza?

Erza: Well... I shipped those two since the day I met Lucy.

Meena: REALLY?!!

Erza: Of course! Most of the guild does. This strawberry cake is delicious by the way! *her eyes sparkle*

Meena: Right, right. Ah, I'm so happy. Do you like this fanfic so far?

Erza: Yes, I do. And thank you for making Gray and Juvia actually get together in your story because I'm really starting to get impatient with him. *grows tick mark on forhead*

Meena: *has hearts in her eyes* You ship Gruvia too?!!

Erza: Yes, I think they would make a very cute couple. Gray is just so dense though, I don't know what Juvia sees in him. It's quite obvious to me that he loves her. I mean, he went back and dug through the snow to get her scarf, and he apologized to her the next day, and Gray doesn't apologize to just anybody. Except for me of course. 

Meena: I completely agree with you!! Aah! The great Titania ships my ships! How much more complete could my life get?!

Erza: Okay...

Meena: Now then, last question for you, are you or are you not in love with Jellal?

Erza: W-What?

Meena: You heard me.

Erza: I-I...umm...

Meena: Just answer the damn question.

Erza: *plays with her hair* Yes.

Meena: YES! If only Jellal could hear that, maybe he would reconsider not being with you. I mean it is so obvious he's in love with you.

Erza: You-You think so?

Meena: Of course! He's even more obvious than you are about it. I mean, he gave you your freaking last name! How many guys have done that?

Erza: None, but he didn't kiss me. I knew he was lying when he said he had a fiance, but...

Meena: You know why he lied right?

Erza: I guess. 

Meena: He still thinks he's not fit for you because of all the bad things he's done, even though he's been atoning for it in the best way possible: destroying dark guilds. He doesn't want to take you down the dark road, but the thing is he's not in the darkness anymore. You showed him the way, and now you need to show him that you think he's worthy of you and that you love him no matter what.

Erza: You're right, I do need to do that! 

Meena: Right! Do it for Jerza!

Erza: Yeah!
