Hey, my weirdos!!! I'm so sorry I kept you waiting so long!!! *cowers in a corner* Please have mercy on me!!!! I don't actually remember how long it's been since I've updated, but to me it feels like a long time! Anywho, the first week of school went by...okay. High school sucks majorly... I have to give up volleyball because it ends too late and I've been doing it for three years now!!! Life sucks... But, I am in the same class as my waifu so yay! By the way, I just wanted to let you guys know that these chapters are prewritten because I like to go over my work later when I update this for you guys so you weirdos can have the best version. And now, without further ado, chapter 14!!

Lucy skidded to a halt in the clearing, and looked to see Natsu standing and leaning against a tree looking very angry and maybe a tad bit worried. Wait, he was standing. Lucy stomped over to him, put her hands on his shoulders, and forced him down yelling, "You shouldn't be standing you idiot!!!"

Natsu looked very surprised as he was plopped on the ground with an oomph sound.

"What the hell, Lucy?!" he asked angrily.

"You're not supposed to be standing!" she scolded.

"I'm fine! Standing isn't that big of a deal anymore!"

"Why you- wait, what?" she asked.

"What I'm saying is that I can stand up now, it doesn't hurt too much," Natsu explained, crossing his arms.

"That's awesome!!" Lucy exclaimed, pumping her fist in the air before asking excitedly, "Can you walk?"

Natsu's face paled but he gulped and said, "Y-Yeah."

Lucy face-palmed.

"Natsu, you don't have to lie to me, if you can't walk yet, you can't walk yet. It's as simple as that."

"Tch, anyway, you were late," he stated, glaring at her.

"I know but it was for a good reason," Lucy assured him, inwardly smiling.

"Oh, and what would that be?" he asked, raising a brow.

"I, my friend, just found out that your dear Wendy is indeed alive," Lucy said smugly.

"What? Are you serious?!" Natsu asked excitedly.

"Yes, yes I am."

"Well where is she?!" he asked, grabbing her hand and dragging her down to sit next to him.

"A cute boy named Romeo is taking care of her."

"A boy?" he growled.

"Yes. Is there a problem with that?" Lucy asked, confused as to why he was acting this way.

"Oh, he is so in for it if he even lays a finger on her," he said, smacking his fist into his palm.

"Natsu, first off, how could he not touch her if she was as badly wounded as you say. If he didn't, she probably would have died," Lucy pointed out.

Natsu's anger immediately died down and he mumbled, "I guess you sorta got a point there..."

"Second," Lucy continued. "There are plenty of guys on Earthland, you're lucky she found somebody as sweet as Romeo to save her. Did you know that even though I am the princess of this country, he still refused to tell me about Wendy even though I have the power to have him hanged or something. He even said and I quote, 'I'm sorry, Princess, but I can't tell you. You can do whatever you want to me and I still won't tell you'. You can't tell me that you don't approve of someone who has the guts to stand up to the Princess to protect his friend," Lucy said, staring Natsu down.

He sighed and said, "Guess I owe the kid then. What's his name again?"

"Romeo."

"Huh, thank Romeo for me when you see him again, ok?" Natsu asked.

"Aaw, I knew you'd come around!" Lucy said, ruffling his hair. Natsu purred at the contact.

Lucy pulled her hand out of his hair, gaining a pout from him, and grabbed the bandages from the supplies.

"Sorry, your health comes first," she said, waving the rolls of bandages in the air.

"Who said?" Natsu grumbled.

"Me, now sit and eat while I check out your wounds," she said, dragging the basket of food over to sit in front of Natsu.

He immediately perked up at this and ravenously dug into the food. Lucy just rolled her eyes at his antics and started to unwrap his gut wound. She inspected it and came to the conclusion that it was healing faster than she anticipated. Good, but it still wasn't fast enough for what he needed to do. She glanced at Natsu who was happily stuffing his face with chocolate cake. She needed a faster solution as soon as possible.

Lucy grabbed a cloth and dipped into the lake that was right next to her. Then she slowly started to wash the wound, it would help it breathe a bit. She felt Natsu flinch once in a while, but that was it.

"I'm not going to rewrap it right away because it needs to breathe a little bit after two days being bandaged up."

"What are you talking about, Luce. Wounds aren't alive, they can't breathe," he said, looking at her as if she had grown two heads.

Lucy felt a vein start to pulse in her forehead.

"No you idiot, I'm not saying that your wound is alive! I'm saying that it's been wrapped up for so long that if it's not exposed to fresh air for a bit, it'll get infected."

"Then why didn't you just say that instead of saying that it needs to breathe, weirdo?"

"BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT 'IT NEEDS TO BREATHE' MEANS, DUMBASS!!" Lucy shouted, extremely irritated with him.

Natsu immediately scooted away from her and held the now empty basket in front his face, cowering behind it.

"C-Can I come out now? Is it safe?" he asked, peeking his head out from behind the basket.

Lucy rolled her eyes at him, and motioned for him to come back over. He hesitated before scooting back towards her, basket still held in front of his face protectively.

"Can you put that down? I need to unwrap the rest of your wounds," Lucy said, calmed down slightly.

"No more screaming?" Natsu asked.

"No more screaming, but you have to stop asking stupid questions even if you are an ignorant idiot," Lucy said, smiling.

"Good, you can be really-HEY!"

Lucy just laughed at Natsu's slow reaction before unwrapping the rest of his wounds.

"Ne, Natsu?" Lucy asked.

"Yeah," he responded, not looking at her as he was inspecting the rip in his wing.

"Can you tell me what it feels like to fly?" Lucy asked, brimming with curiosity.

"What? You've never flown before?" Natsu asked dumbly.

Lucy facepalmed.

"In case you haven't noticed, I am HUMAN!! And humans can't exactly fly!!" she said angrily, flabbergasted at Natsu's ridiculous question.

"Oh, yeah! I totally forgot," he said, snapping his fingers.

Lucy felt like smacking her head against a tree.

"You're just so nice and cute and a total weirdo, I forget sometimes," he said casually.

Lucy blushed at what he just said. She could feel her heart beat accelerate in her chest. It was so loud to her, she was sure Natsu could hear it too.

"Hey, are you sick or something? Your face is all red," Natsu said leaning closer.

"I-I-I'm fine! Really, just fine!" she exclaimed, blushing even harder.

Natsu leaned in until their foreheads were touching.

"N-N-Natsu, w-what are you d-d-doing?" Lucy squeaked out.

"Making sure you don't have a fever," he said in a husky voice that sent tingles down her spine.

She just stared into his eyes, those beautiful emerald onyx eyes that she could get lost in so easily. She could feel his warm breath on her face, tickling her a bit. She wanted to stay like this forever, even more she wanted something to happen. Suddenly Natsu pulled away, and sunk his head into his scarf, hiding the blush that was on his cheeks. He coughed awkwardly and said, "Well, you don't have a fever... We should get to bed... don't want you being late tomorrow morning.

"Y-Yeah," Lucy said.

She was... disappointed to say the least, but she didn't really know why. Although her feeling of disappointment was soon forgotten when Natsu grabbed her and wrapped her in his warm embrace, shielding her from the cruel and unforgiving outside world and using his steady heartbeat to lull her into dreamland. 

Author's note: So! I hope you enjoyed this chapter. It was a bit on the short side for what I normally write, but it did have some pretty good fluff if I do say so myself. And without further ado, let's bring in, Natsu!!

Natsu: What the-am I in that weird thing, Ice Princess was talking about?"

Meena: Why yes, Natsu. You are. I'm Meena, and I love you.

Natsu: Nice to meet you, Meena! And what?

Meena: Never mind...

Natsu: Do you have any food here? I'm starving!

Meena: Aren't you always. Here, take this chicken. *writes chicken into the world where this happens*

Natsu: Awesome! Thanks, Meena, you're the best!

Meena: N-Natsu just said I'm the best. Somebody catch me! *faints with hearts in her eyes*

Natsu: Oi, are you ok? You kinda look like Juvia actually. *pokes Meena*

Meena: *pops back to life* Yes, I'm fine. Now Natsu! How do you feel about Lucy?!

Natsu: What do ya mean, Meena? Obviously she's my best friend!

Meena: *facepalms* Natsu, I know that, but do you feel like she's more than your best friend to you? Like... do you possibly like her in a romantic way? *wiggles eyebrows suggestively*

Natsu: Pff, no...

Meena: Natsu, I challenge you to a dare! Can you say that...

Natsu: Aa, I'm all fired up!

Meena: Respond to each question in the next 3 seconds that follow each question!

Natsu: Got it! This is a piece of cake!

Meena: What's your favorite food?

Natsu: Everything!

Meena: Who are you most scared of?

Natsu: Erza!

Meena: What is Lissana to you?

Natsu: A friend and comrade!

Meena: Do you like Lucy romantically?

Natsu: Yes!

Meena: Gihihi, you finally said it!!!!!!

Natsu: What did I-OI! YOU TRICKED ME!!!!

Meena: *Grins like the cheshire cat* It's not my fault you're so gullible.

Natsu: Oi! I am not gullible!

Meena: *scoffs* Whatever. Anyway, you admitted it!!! Hah! My life is finally complete.

Natsu: You're a weirdo.

Meena: Way to point out the obvious, Natsu. Anyway, this is perfect! Especially since this is a Nalu fanfiction!

Natsu: What the hell is Nalu?

Meena: How can you not know your own ship name?

Natsu: What?

Meena: *sighs exasperatedly* Natsu+Lucy=Nalu. 

Natsu: I kinda like that...

Meena: YAY!! Anyway, we're kind of out of time Natsu, but before you read the disclaimer I need you to promise me something.

Natsu: What is it?

Meena: You have to confess to Lucy.

Natsu: What? But-

Meena: Don't but me! You have to confess to her!

Natsu: But I'm pretty sure she doesn't feel the same way...

Meena: First off, you won't know until you try, second I'm pretty sure she loves you. She got all excited and started fantasizing about you when she thought you asked her out on a date!

Natsu: What?! When did this happen?!

Meena: *completely ignoring Natsu* And this one guy asked her out on a date once and she skipped just to go on a job with you.

Natsu: Someone asked her out?!!!!! I'LL KILL HIM!! Wait... She skipped it just for me?

Meena: Yup! You can think on that later, but on with the disclaimer!

Natsu: Um... ok... Meena doesn't own Fairy Tail or anyone in it, Hiro Mashima does. If she did Nalu would have been cannon a long time ago and they would have 33 nalu babies just like Mira said... WAIT,  WHAT?!! *Natsu blushed redder than Erza's hair*

Meena: That's it for tonight, folks! *Grabs the blushing Natsu and makes the Fiary Tail sign*
