The Emperor Pilaf And His Gang
The Emperor Pilaf and His Gang
Goku, Gine, Bulma, and Oolong were traveling in the car given to them by Ox-King, driving through an immense forest of giant mushrooms. Gine was talking to her son Goku about the meaning of having a wife while Bulma and Oolong listened attentively.
_"Mom, let me see if I understand correctly: Having a wife means that I commit to a woman to be her companion for life with the intention of being with her until death do us part, having children, and forming a family, right?" Goku asked innocently.
_ "Basically, that's right," Gine said, smiling at her son.
_ "Mmm, I see. So, that's what Chi-Chi meant when she asked me to marry her when I grow up?" Goku asked his mother.
_ "That's right, and that's why I didn't let you commit to that girl even though she's a beautiful princess, because you're still a child and not ready for such an important and serious commitment. Besides, it wouldn't be right for you to have a wife you don't love," Gine told her son.
_ "Love? And what is that?" Goku asked, confused.
_ Gine, smiling, said to her son: "Falling in love is when you love a woman and want to share your life with her. When that happens, you'll feel like that woman owns your heart, and you'll be willing to stay by her side no matter the trials and adversities that come your way. But you have to be careful because the heart can be deceitful, as many people fall in love with someone who isn't right for them."
_ "Mmm, based on what you're telling me, Mom, I'm glad I didn't commit to Ox-King's daughter, because I don't feel anything like what you describe for Chi-Chi. But I don't understand—how will I know if I'm in love?" Goku asked.
_ "You'll discover that for yourself someday when you meet the right girl for you. But in the meantime, don't think too much about these things for now, as you're still a child and have a lot of growing and maturing to do," Gine said to her son.
_ "Your mom is right, Goku. But as you grow up and explore the world, I'm sure you'll find a good and lovely girl who will be perfect for you," Bulma said with a smile.
_ "Well, as for me, I'm not interested in those things at all. I'm only interested in training and becoming strong so that one day I can surpass my mom," Goku said, putting his hands behind his head.
_ Bulma sighed with a smile and said, "You say that because you're still a kid."
_ "Bulma is right, son. But when you meet the right girl for you, you'll see how beautiful and wonderful it will be to have that girl by your side. And you know what, Goku? Believe it or not, the day you fall in love with a girl, you'll become stronger than you can imagine. Because when you love someone, you want to protect them at all costs, and that will motivate you to be strong and reach unprecedented limits. Protecting someone you love makes you stronger and helps you break your limits. Never forget that," Gine said, smiling at her son.
_ "How so, Mom? I don't understand," Goku said, confused.
_ "You'll find out for yourself someday," Gine said.
_ "Well, I still think Gine should have engaged Goku to Ox-King's daughter to secure his future with a good fortune," Oolong said.
_ "You shut up!" Bulma said furiously, hitting Oolong.
_ "Ouch, you're so mean," Oolong whimpered in pain, making Goku and Gine laugh while Yamcha and Puar followed the four adventurers, waiting for the perfect opportunity to steal the Dragon Balls.
_ "You know, Mom? I'm glad you're by my side, because if you weren't, Chi-Chi would have taken advantage of my ignorance and forced me into a marriage I never sought. It terrifies me to think that I could have ended up marrying a girl I don't love, and I say this with all due respect to Chi-Chi," Goku said, a bit nervous.
_ Gine laughed and hugged her son, saying, "Don't worry, Goku. That's exactly what mothers are for—to care for and always look out for the well-being of their children. I love you, Goku, and as your mother, I will always want the best for you."
Bulma smiled at the sweet scene, while Goku thought and reflected on the words his mother had told him:
_ "You know what, Goku? Believe it or not, the day you fall in love with a girl, you'll become stronger than you can imagine. Because when you love someone, you want to protect them at all costs, and that will motivate you to be strong and reach unprecedented limits. Protecting someone you love makes you stronger and helps you break your limits. Never forget that."
Goku never imagined that in the future, those words would echo in his head.
Oolong suddenly noticed that the car they were in was running out of gas, but fortunately for the four adventurers, they managed to reach a town where they could refuel and get supplies. Gine noticed that the townspeople were scared and ran away when they saw them.
_ "Why do people seem to be afraid of us?" Gine asked, confused.
_ "It looks like they're afraid of Bulma," Goku said.
_ "What are you talking about?" Bulma asked.
_ As soon as they arrived at a gas station, Oolong asked for the tank to be filled. But when Bulma went to pay, the gas station attendant got scared and said, "It's nothing, it's on the house."
_ "What strange people," Bulma said.
_ "It seems Goku is right, Bulma. I think people are scared by the bunny costume you're wearing, so I recommend at least taking off those ridiculous ears," said Gine.
_ "I guess you're right," said Bulma, taking off the bunny ears.
Then, Bulma, accompanied by Gine, went to buy some Hoi-Poi capsules and got herself a new outfit, a white oriental dress with a blue vest. Bulma also bought a similar outfit for Gine in red with a black vest, as Gine needed a change of clothes too. Meanwhile, Yamcha and Puar were spying on the two women.
_ "Thank you so much for the clothes, Bulma," said Gine with a smile.
_ "No problem, Gine. It's the least I can do for you, considering how you take care of all of us," replied Bulma.
_ "Looks like they're shopping," said Yamcha while spying on the two women.
Then, Gine and Bulma returned to where Goku and Oolong were waiting for them.
_ "Sorry for the delay, but I bought a lot of things," said Bulma.
_ "That's how women are when they shop," commented Oolong.
Later, the four adventurers saw two armed men with bunny ears intimidating a poor apple vendor.
_ "You call these apples?" said one of the goons with bunny ears.
Both Goku and Gine were outraged by the despicable acts of these men, but their indignation grew when the goons assaulted a poor woman and her child. This infuriated Gine as a mother, so she decided to intervene.
_"How dare you hit a mother and her child? Take this, you miserable bully!" said Gine, furious and indignant, as she struck one of the goons. Then, Goku also hit another goon.
_"Goku and Gine are really strong," commented Oolong.
_ Bulma cheered on the Saiyans, saying, "Great job, Goku and Gine! Give those miserable bullies what they deserve!"
_ One of the goons then pulled out his cellphone and said, "Boss, we've got two really strong types here. We need your help."
_ "They've done something terrible. You'd better flee from here," said the gas station attendant as he ran away.
_ "I have a bad feeling. Goku, we'd better stay alert," said Gine, seriously.
_ "Yes, Mom!" said Goku, holding his Power Pole.
Then, a rabbit-shaped car appeared, from which a humanoid rabbit wearing a green and purple suit emerged.
_ The goons ran towards the humanoid rabbit, saying, "Boss!"
_ "Well, where are the ones who dared to challenge the Rabbit Gang?" The goons pointed towards Goku and Gine, and the Rabbit Boss, furious, said, "Bunch of useless idiots. I can't believe you let yourselves be beaten by a kid and a woman. Looks like I'll have to handle them myself."
_ Yamcha, who was spying on them, said, "I think I've seen them somewhere before."
Then the rabbit approached Bulma and touched her, and to everyone's amazement, turned Bulma into a carrot.
_ "Bulma!" shouted Goku, Gine, and Oolong in alarm.
_ "Don't take another step, or I'll eat this girl," said the Rabbit Boss.
Goku and Gine, feeling helpless, stood still, and then they were beaten by the Rabbit Gang's goons. The blows didn't affect Gine, but the same couldn't be said for Goku, who ended up with several bruises. Then, Puar appeared, transformed into a seagull, and snatched the carrot from the Rabbit Boss. Yamcha then appeared and freed Goku and Gine from the goons who were beating them.
_ "It's Yamcha!" said Goku.
_ Gine thought to herself, "It's incredible that this bandit helped us."
_:"Quick, Goku! Now you can use your Power Pole to finish him off," said Yamcha.
_ Furious, Gine said to the Rabbit Boss's goons, _"Oh, now you'll see what happens when someone messes with my son." Then, Gine gave a beating to the Rabbit Gang's goons.
_ Goku used his Power Pole to hit the Rabbit Boss, and then the Rabbit Boss, desperate, said, "Wait, please, if you kill me, the girl will remain a carrot forever."
_ Furious, Goku replied, "Then turn her back to normal, or I'll keep hitting you until I'm tired."
The Rabbit Boss then turned Bulma back to normal.
_ "Huh? What happened?" asked Bulma, confused.
_ Gine, smiling, said, "Yamcha and Puar came to help us. Looks like, as Goku said, they might not be such bad people after all."
_ "Where's that handsome guy?" asked Bulma, blushing.
_ "Well, as soon as we defeated these guys, he disappeared," said Goku.
Then, Goku and Gine tied up the Rabbit Boss and his gang and handed them over to the authorities. The whole village thanked them for their efforts and for bringing peace and tranquility to their village. The four adventurers continued their journey and left the village, traveling through the forest of giant mushrooms, followed by Yamcha and Puar.
_ "So tell me, Bulma, after we gather all the Dragon Balls, what do you plan to ask that Shenron?" Oolong asked the blue-haired teenager.
_ "Well, I want to ask for a tall and handsome boyfriend," said Bulma, blushing and with heart-shaped eyes. However, deep down, Bulma was seriously considering asking for Bardock, Gine's husband and Goku's father, to be revived, although she didn't want to tell Gine because she wanted it to be a surprise.
_ "What?! A boyfriend?! So, we're risking our lives for such a silly wish?!" asked Oolong, upset.
_ "It's not silly! It seems you boys don't understand these things," replied Bulma.
Meanwhile, a beautiful woman in a military outfit was calmly observing the four adventurers from atop a giant mushroom.
_"Lord Pilaf, a car just passed through sector 15," said Mai.
_ "It must be them. Start the operation, now," said Pilaf.
_ Mai nodded, saying, "Yes, Master Pilaf." Then Mai said to her companion, "Shu, do you see the car too?"
_ Shu replied, "Affirmative."
Mai pulled out a bazooka and fired a missile at the car the four adventurers were in. Gine reacted in time and grabbed Goku, Bulma, and Oolong to get them out of the car, which was then destroyed by the missile.
_ Gine, completely alarmed, asked, "What was that?"
Then a robot piloted by a humanoid dog in a ninja suit appeared, holding the suitcase containing the Dragon Balls that the four adventurers had gathered.
_ "I'll take this," said Shu.
_ But Goku reacted in time and tore off the robot's arm holding the suitcase with the Dragon Balls, saying, "I don't think so," then gave the suitcase to his mom.
_ "What the heck?! Mai, I need help!" said Shu, alarmed.
Mai then fired a missile from a bazooka at Goku, but Goku reacted in time and blocked the missile.
_ "We'd better make a strategic retreat. They're too strong for us," said Shu.
_ "Damn it! I guess we have no choice," said Mai, frustrated.
Then Shu flew away in his robot while Mai fled the scene unnoticed.
_ Bulma then gave Goku a strong and affectionate hug, saying, "Goku, you're incredible! You stopped those guys from stealing the Dragon Balls."
_ "Hey, Bulma, take it easy," said Goku, feeling a bit uncomfortable.
_ "Hey Bulma, I want a hug too," said Oolong with a perverted look, but Bulma responded by kicking him in the face, making Gine laugh.
_ "Our car is destroyed, but at least I have the Hoi-Poi capsules I bought," said Bulma, but to her dismay, when she opened her bag, she saw that the explosion had damaged the capsules, rendering them useless. "Oh no, the capsules are destroyed. What will we do now?" Bulma said, tears in her eyes.
_ "I guess we'll have to walk," said Oolong, resigned.
_ But then Yamcha appeared, driving his car with Puar, and with a fake smile, he said to the four adventurers, "Well, what a surprise. What are you doing around here?"
_ "Hi, Yamcha!" said Bulma, happy and blushing.
_ Yamcha smiled and said, "Do you need a lift? I'd be happy to take you."
_ Gine, serious and with arms crossed, said to the young bandit, "You've been following us, haven't you?"
_ "Eh? Wh... Wh... What makes you think that?" said Yamcha, nervous.
_ "I knew because I noticed it before we got to Fry-Pan Mountain," replied Gine, serious.
_ "Damn... This woman is really something," Yamcha thought, scared.
_ "That doesn't matter now. We'll gladly accept your offer, handsome," said Bulma as she got into the car and hugged Yamcha, making him nervous and blush like a tomato.
_ "Whatever. I guess it's better than walking," said Oolong as he got into the car.
_ "What do you think, mom?" asked Goku.
_ Gine sighed and said, "I guess we have no other choice, but I'll keep an eye on you, Yamcha, so you'd better not try anything or you'll regret it."
_ Yamcha, completely nervous, swallowed and said, "Alright."
And so the group of four adventurers—Goku, Gine, Bulma, and Oolong—were joined by Yamcha and Puar, and the six of them continued their journey in search of the seventh and final Dragon Ball.
Meanwhile, at Emperor Pilaf's Castle:
_ "You're all a bunch of idiots! How could you not steal the Dragon Balls from that group?" said Pilaf, angry. He was a small blue-skinned man in a black outfit with green sleeves.
_ "We're really sorry, Great Pilaf," said Mai, lamenting.
_ "No kidding, Master Pilaf! That kid is very strong, and from what I heard, his mother is even stronger," said Shu, scared.
_ "Well, it doesn't matter. After all, we have the last Dragon Ball, so it's only a matter of time before they come to us, and when they do, we'll take the Dragon Balls from them, and I, the Great Pilaf, will wish to be the ruler of this world," said Pilaf with a big, malevolent smile.
Back with the group of six adventurers.
At dusk, the group of six adventurers arrived at the gates of a huge castle, not knowing it belonged to Pilaf and his band of Mai and Shu, who were already waiting for them.
_ "This is where the seventh Dragon Ball should be! Let's go inside," said Bulma, looking at the Dragon Radar.
_ "Let's enter carefully, I have a bad feeling about this," said Gine.
Meanwhile, Pilaf watched the group of six adventurers entering his palace through his security cameras from his room.
_ "See? What did I tell you? I told you they would come on their own. No doubt they took the bait," said Pilaf with a sinister smile.
Meanwhile, Goku, Gine, Bulma, Oolong, Yamcha, and Puar ventured into the castle, and as they walked through the stone corridors of Pilaf's castle, they saw an arrow on the floor leading to a sort of passageway.
_ Then Yamcha said, "We should follow that arrow."
_ But Gine noticed something strange and ran after them, saying, "Wait! It's a trap!"
But it was too late, and a wall closed behind them.
_ "Damn it! We're trapped," said Bulma, scared.
Then a screen appeared, showing Pilaf.
_ "Surprise! You fell into my trap. Now hand over the Dragon Balls if you want to get out," said Pilaf.
_ "I get it! So you were the one who sent those guys to attack us to try to steal the Dragon Balls," said Gine, angry.
_ "That's right! Now hand over the Dragon Balls if you value your lives," said Pilaf, angry.
_ "No way we're giving you the Dragon Balls," said Gine, angry, sticking her tongue out at Pilaf.
_ "What? How dare you? Now you'll see," said Pilaf, furious and indignant. Then he pressed a button, and a mechanical claw grabbed Gine and took her to the chamber where Pilaf was.
_ "Mom!" shouted little Goku, worried.
_ "Gine!" shouted the others.
_ "Don't worry, I'll be fine," said Gine with a smile, winking at them.
Gine allowed herself to be captured on purpose to be taken to Pilaf's chamber, and when Gine was face-to-face with Pilaf, she used her strength to easily break the metal claw.
_ "What?! It can't be! This woman isn't normal! Mai! Shu! Do something!" shouted Pilaf, scared.
_ Shu tried to attack Gine with his sword, but Gine grabbed the sword and easily broke it. Then Mai pulled out her gun and fired at the young Saiyan mother, but Gine caught the bullets easily, making Mai fall to the ground, scared. Once Pilaf's accomplices were subdued, Gine grabbed Pilaf and threatened him, saying, "You'd better let my son and friends go and give me the Dragon Ball you have if you know what's good for you."
_ "Alright! Whatever you say, just don't hurt me. Mai, give her the Dragon Ball," said Pilaf, scared, then pressed the switch to open the wall that had trapped Goku and the others.
_ "Yes, Master Pilaf!" said Mai, scared. After a few seconds, Mai handed the seventh Dragon Ball to the young Saiyan mother.
_ "Thank you for your kind cooperation," said Gine with a smile and a wink, making Pilaf blush slightly. Then Gine ran through the corridors in search of Goku and the others.
_ "Master Pilaf, are you okay?" asked Mai.
_ "She... she's beautiful," said Pilaf, happy and blushing. But then Pilaf snapped back to reality, shaking his head. Furious, he shook his fist and said, "That damn woman, her son, and her friends will pay dearly!"
Gine ran through the stone corridors of Pilaf's Castle in search of her son Goku and her friends, holding the seventh Dragon Ball. Despite the corridors being practically a maze, Gine could follow the path by sensing her son's Ki, which led her to reunite with Goku and the others. When everyone saw that Gine was alright, they were all happy, especially little Goku, who had been somewhat afraid that something might happen to his mom.
_ "Mom!" shouted Goku happily, jumping into his mom's arms to give her a big hug.
_ "I'm so glad you're alright, Gine!" said Bulma with a smile.
_ "Thanks, and look what I have!" said Gine with a big smile, spinning the seventh Dragon Ball on her fingertip before holding it up to show everyone.
_ "Awesome! You got it, Gine! You're the best!" said Bulma, jumping for joy.
_ "Well done, Mom!" said Goku, happy and excited.
_ But their celebrations were interrupted by Pilaf, who appeared on a screen, furious, saying, "Did you think you could take my Dragon Balls and get away with it? Now you'll see!"
Then Pilaf pressed a switch that caused two walls to close in on the six adventurers.
Then Pilaf released a sleeping gas that caused the six adventurers to fall deeply asleep. Pilaf, accompanied by Mai and Shu, then went to where the six adventurers were and took the seven Dragon Balls from them. However, Pilaf forgot to wear his gas mask and ended up falling asleep on the floor, so his accomplices
_ After an hour, Bulma was the first to wake up and noticed that everyone else was still asle
_ Then Goku, Gine, Oolong, Yamcha, and Puar woke up. "What happened?" asked Goku.
_ Bulma screamed and cried, "AAAAAHHHH! It can't be! They stole the Dragon Balls!"
_ "We're locked in. Goku, Gine, use your Kamehameha," said Yamcha.
Goku and Gine nodded and used their Kamehameha against one of the castle walls, creating a hole that led outside. They all saw that outside the castle, Pilaf and his gang had already gathered the seven Dragon Balls.
_ "At last, I will fulfill my dream of becoming the King of the World! Come forth, Shenron, and grant my wish!" shouted Pilaf.
Everyone could see how the previously clear night sky was now covered with clouds, and a great beam of light shot out from the seven Dragon Balls.
_ "We have to do something," said Bulma.
_ "Puar, transform into a bat and stop those villains from making their wish," said Yamcha.
_ "You too, Oolong!" said Bulma.
Both Oolong and Puar transformed into bats and flew toward where Pilaf had summoned Shenron. Before everyone's eyes, a gigantic green dragon with red eyes appeared before Pilaf, who was eager to make his wish and was already imagining himself being acclaimed as the King of the World by people from all over.
_ "Amazing! So that's Shenron," said Gine as she marveled at the great dragon.
_ "Wow! It's really huge!" said Goku, astonished.
Gine said to her son, "Goku, let's do another Kamehameha together to bring down this wall and stop those villains from making their wish."
_ "I'm hungry, Mom! I can't concentrate," said Goku.
_ "I'm hungry too, Goku, but we have to make an effort," said Gine, putting her hand on Goku's shoulder.
_ "Alright," said Goku.
Then Goku and Gine performed a Kamehameha, destroying the wall that led outside the castle, and the six adventurers managed to escape from Pilaf's castle.
_ Shenron said to Pilaf, "Tell me your wish."
Just as Pilaf was about to make his wish, Oolong arrived and shouted to Shenron, "I want a pair of panties!"
_ "What?! No!" screamed Pilaf, alarmed.
Then Shenron made a pair of panties fall from the sky, which Oolong grabbed happily and put on his head. Then he and Puar fled back to the others.
_ Gine, completely astonished with wide eyes, said, "Incredible! All our effort to gather the Dragon Balls was just so that perverted little pig could wish for a pair of panties."
_ "Your wish has been granted! Farewell!" said Shenron. Then the great dragon god disappeared, and the Dragon Balls rose into the sky and scattered all over the world.
_ "What happened to the Dragon Balls?" asked Goku, astonished.
_ "When someone makes a wish to Shenron, the Dragon Balls scatter around the world and turn to stone for a year," said Bulma.
_ "What?! Does that mean I lost my grandpa's ball?" asked Goku, alarmed.
_ "You'll pay for this!" said Pilaf, furious. He then took out a remote control and activated a trapdoor that caused the six adventurers to fall through a tunnel, landing in a fortified steel cell with a ceiling made of reinforced glass.
_ "This time we can't escape; the walls are made of fortified steel," said Oolong, worried, as he touched the walls.
_ "But, we can escape through that window," said Goku, pointing upward.
_ "Don't be silly, Goku. There's a window made of reinforced glass up there. It's impossible to get through," replied Bulma, annoyed.
_ "Well, I'll try to break through it," said Goku, then jumped up.
_ "Goku, no!" said Gine, jumping to catch her son in time before he could hit his head against the reinforced glass ceiling.
_ "Mom, why did you stop me?" asked Goku.
_ Gine replied, "Goku, I want you to look at this."
Gine then gave a strong punch to the tempered glass, which couldn't break.
_ Gine said to her son, "See? If you had hit this glass with your head, you would have only hurt yourself."
_ "Wow... Well, thanks, Mom," said Goku, embarrassed.
_ Gine, smiling, said to her son, "You're welcome, sweetheart, but you need to be less impulsive."
_ "I understand," said Goku, still embarrassed.
_ Then Pilaf's voice sounded from a speaker, saying, "Surprise! As you may have noticed, you're in a prison made of reinforced steel and a ceiling of bulletproof glass. Not even the best prisons have this much security. Now you'll stay there until you die from the scorching heat of the afternoon sun. Hahahaha!"
_ "What?! Oh no, and I don't even have sunscreen," lamented Bulma.
_ "You don't seem to care about dying," replied Oolong, annoyed.
_ "Oh, my beautiful skin will dry out... it will dry out! I don't want to become a young and beautiful mummy!" cried Bulma.
_ "And I don't want to become a roasted piglet!" said Oolong, crying.
_ "And I want to marry a cute girl!" said Yamcha, crying.
_ "I want to get out of here!" said Puar, crying.
_ "I'm hungry," said Goku, lamenting.
As Pilaf watched them from his security camera, mocking their misfortune, both Goku and Gine were constantly attacking the impenetrable reinforced steel walls of the cell with their Kamehameha, while Yamcha did the same with his Wolf Fang Fist. But all their attempts were in vain, and Goku, Gine, and Yamcha collapsed from exhaustion.
_ Gine, totally frustrated, said, "Darn it! I'm also so hungry, I don't have the strength to break these steel walls."
_ Gine was sad and worried about what might happen to her son, when Bulma approached her and said, "Gine, can I talk to you in private?"
_ "What's up, Bulma?" asked Gine, a bit confused.
_ Bulma took Gine to a secluded corner of the cell, then sighed and said, "Well, you see, I wanted to wish Shenron to revive your husband to see if it was possible, but unfortunately, it can't be done, at least for now."
_ "Wait... Are you saying that Shenron can revive the dead?" asked Gine, astonished.
_ "It's possible," replied Bulma.
_ "But why didn't you tell me earlier?" asked Gine.
_ "Because I'm not sure if Shenron can revive the dead, and I didn't want to give you false hope in case Shenron can't do it. I started searching for the Dragon Balls with the wish to get a boyfriend, but when I heard your sad and moving story about your husband Bardock, I thought of using the wish to revive him as a nice surprise for you and Goku, but now I think it won't be possible," said Bulma, sad.
_ Gine, moved, hugged Bulma and said, "Bulma... Thank you so much, it's a lovely gesture from you."
_ Bulma returned Gine's hug, saying, "You're welcome, Gine."
_ "Hey, you two, what are you talking about?" shouted Oolong.
_ "None of your business, nosy pig!" said Bulma, furious.
_ "Mom, are you okay?" asked Goku, confused to see that Gine was holding back tears in her eyes.
_ Gine took a deep breath and with a smile said to her son, "I'm fine, sweetheart."
_ But then Bulma whispered to Gine in her ear, "Hey Gine, don't you think you should tell Goku the truth about his father? You might not have another chance later."
_ "Don't say that, Bulma! I'm sure we'll get out of here alive, I don't know how, but we will!" said Gine with determination. Then she sighed and said, "Now about telling Goku about Bardock, well..."
_ But Gine was interrupted by Oolong shouting at Puar, "Hey Puar, what are you doing?!"
_ "I'm looking at the full moon," said Puar, happily.
_ "I don't understand how you can be calm before dying," replied Oolong, annoyed.
_ "Looking at the full moon helps me calm down. It's really so beautiful," said Puar, happily contemplating the full moon.
_ "How can you be so calm?!" replied Oolong, annoyed.
_ "Full moon? Have you ever heard the story of the terrible monster?" asked Goku.
_ "Yeah, I know it by heart, you're talking about werewolves. Why don't you think of something more useful, like how to get out of here?" said Bulma, responding to the young.
_"No kidding! That monster fatally wounded my dear grandpa," replied Goku.
_"What? Are you talking about the great martial arts master, Son Gohan? It seems that enormous beast is quite powerful," said Yamcha, astonished.
_"That's right. It destroyed the entire house and the trees surrounding it," said Goku.
_"Hey, Gine, is that true?" asked Bulma, astonished.
_"Um... well, yes," said Gine, feeling a bit nervous and worried that her son might see the full moon.
_Then Oolong asked, "And what did that monster look like?"
_"Well, I honestly don't know since I was asleep, but my mom knows because she and my grandpa tried to stop it," said Goku.
_"What?! How could you be asleep while that monster was destroying your house?" asked Oolong, astonished.
_"I remember both my mom and my grandpa telling me never to look at the full moon, but I don't think it's such a big deal to look at it. It's not that serious," said Goku.
_But Gine, feeling annoyed, said to her son, "You're talking too much, Goku."
_"But why do you say that, mom?" asked Goku. Then Goku noticed that Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong, and Puar were moving away from him, totally scared. "Hey, what's wrong with you guys?" asked Goku, confused.
_"Don't come any closer," said Yamcha, scared.
_"Hey, Goku, when that monster attacked your grandpa, did you see the full moon?" asked Bulma, scared.
_"Hey, Bulma, what are you thinking?" asked Yamcha, scared.
_"The same thing you are," responded Bulma.
_"Uh... guys, please calm down," said Gine with a nervous smile.
_"Hey, Goku, for no reason should you look at the full moon," said Bulma.
_"What are you thinking about?" asked Goku with a smile.
_"I have an idea, let's let Goku see the full moon and see what happens," said Oolong.
_"What if it's true what he says?" asked Yamcha.
_"Do us a favor, Goku, for no reason should you look at the full moon over there," said Bulma, pointing towards the full moon.
But Goku ended up turning to look at the full moon.
_"Goku, no!" said Gine, alarmed.
_"Oh no, I've looked at it again!" said Goku with a nervous smile.
_"Goku, don't you feel anything strange?" asked Oolong.
_"Well, no," responded Goku with a smile.
Everyone except Gine sighed in relief because Gine, as a Saiyan, knew what was about to happen to her son.
_"See? I told you these things couldn't be true," said Bulma with a smile.
_But then Goku's face went into shock, his pupils turned red, and his heart began to beat so strongly that everyone could hear it. Gine, totally alarmed, hugged her son, saying, "Goku, no! Please, snap out of it!"
_"Goku, what's happening to you? Don't scare us," said Bulma, scared, while the others were also scared.
Goku began to grow, causing his clothes to start tearing apart, as his body became covered in thick brown fur, and an immense snout grew on his face. Goku grew so much that he ended up smashing through the reinforced glass ceiling, to the screams of Bulma, Oolong, Yamcha, and Puar. Goku had transformed into an Oozaru just as Gine feared, and he lost his mind, starting to destroy everything in Pilaf's Castle.
_"He's smashed the ceiling, now we can escape. Well done, Goku, now you can return to normal," said Yamcha, scared.
_Gine said to her friends, "He won't listen. You all run away while I try to reason with my son," then flew towards Goku.
Then Goku smashed the ceiling of the room where Pilaf and his accomplices, Mai and Shu, were sleeping, causing them to flee in terror.
_"Run!" shouted Pilaf, scared.
_"Help!" screamed Mai and Shu.
Then Pilaf, Shu, and Mai ran to an airplane and after taking off, they started attacking Goku with a machine gun, making Goku even angrier.
_"No! Stop it! You're only making him angrier!" shouted Gine.
But Gine, without realizing it, ended up being grabbed by her son's immense hands in his Oozaru form, and Goku began to crush Gine with his hands, not letting her breathe.
_"AAAAHHHH Goku... no!" screamed Gine.
_"Oh no, Gine!" shouted Bulma.
_"Yamcha, remember you said Goku's weak point was his tail," said Puar.
_"That's right!" said Yamcha.
At that moment, the airplane carrying Pilaf, Mai, and Shu fired a missile at Goku, which caused him to fall to the ground in a massive explosion, making Goku release his mother.
_Gine, despite being in pain, was worried about her son, fearing the worst and went to him, saying, "No, Goku!" But to her relief, Goku was still breathing, then Goku woke up, stood up, and from his mouth shot a massive Ki blast that hit one of the wings of Pilaf's airplane, causing it to crash, though fortunately for Pilaf, Mai, and Shu, they managed to survive and then fled the place, fearing for their lives.
_Then Yamcha appeared with a stone sword he had made and tried to cut off Goku's tail, but the stone sword ended up breaking into pieces. "Oh no! It didn't work!" shouted Yamcha.
_Then Goku began to chase his friends while Gine shouted, "Goku, don't do it!" But Goku raised a leg and accidentally made Gine see the full moon, causing Gine to start transforming into an Oozaru as well.
_"Oh no, Gine! You too?" shouted Bulma, scared.
_"Are they aliens or what?!" shouted Yamcha, equally scared.
The next morning.
_ Goku lay sleeping, naked, with Bulma's vest covering his private parts and without his tail, while Bulma said, "What a night we had..."
_ "What do you think Goku and Gine are?" asked Oolong.
_ "I don't know," replied Bulma.
_ "Who would have thought such a small boy could cause us so much trouble," said Oolong.
_ "Don't say that. Goku isn't to blame for transforming into that wild beast," said Yamcha, defending the young Saiyan.
_ Bulma sighed and said, "It's a good thing that Gine, despite also being able to transform into that fearsome beast, unlike her son, she is able to keep her mind, and thanks to that we were able to stop Goku and cut off his tail. Now it's best not to tell Goku that he was the one who killed his grandpa, as it would cause him terrible emotional harm."
Then Goku woke up, yawning, and with a smile, he said to everyone, "Good morning, everyone!" Then Goku looked at himself and asked, "What happened to my clothes?"
_ "Don't you remember anything from last night?" asked Bulma.
_ "Well, no," said Goku, standing up.
_ "Hey, Oolong, give Goku your pants," said Bulma. Oolong started to protest, but under Bulma's pressure, he finally gave his pants to Goku.
_ Then Goku, who put on Oolong's pants, noticed his tail was gone and got scared, saying, "Hey, where's my tail? What happened to my tail? What did you do with my tail? Where is my tail? Oh well, it doesn't matter." This made everyone fall over comically, legs in the air. Then Goku asked, "Hey, where's my mom?"
_ "Here I am, honey!" shouted Gine, flying from the ruins of Pilaf's Castle, dressed in the bunny costume Bulma had worn earlier and holding Goku's Power Pole.
_ "Mom, I'm so glad you're here!" said Goku, running into his mom's arms.
_ "Here. Here's your Power Pole," said Gine with a smile to her son.
_ Goku, happy, received his Power Pole from Gine and said, "Thank you so much, mom!" Then, seeing his mom dressed in the bunny costume that Oolong had given to Bulma, he asked, "By the way, mom, why are you dressed in that strange outfit Bulma wore earlier?"
_ "Um... let's just say my clothes also got accidentally destroyed," said Gine with a nervous smile, blushing a bit as she scratched the back of her head.
_ "What do we do now?" asked Goku.
_ "We're going back to West City. Gine, if you and Goku want, you can come with us and live at my house," said Bulma with a smile.
_ "We appreciate your kind offer, Bulma, but we can't accept it because Goku and I are going to Master Roshi's to train at Kame House. It's necessary for us to train since our Kamehameha waves weren't strong enough to destroy Pilaf's castle. This means we still have a lot of training to do to become stronger," replied Gine with a smile.
_ "Oh, I understand. It's a shame you and Goku have to part from us since I've grown very fond of you. I hope we meet again soon, and whenever you want, the doors of my house will always be open for you and Goku if you decide to come to West City," said Bulma with a smile.
_ "Thank you, Bulma," said Gine.
_ Then Goku said, "Hey, what will happen to the Dragon Balls? Will we get together to look for them in a year? Because I want to find the Four-Star Ball my grandpa gave me."
Both Bulma and Yamcha laughed, blushing, and Bulma said to Goku, "We don't need them anymore, but here, I'll give you the Dragon Radar." Meanwhile, Oolong looked annoyed, and Puar was happy that Yamcha finally had a girlfriend.
_ "Really? Thanks so much, Bulma," said Goku with a smile.
_ "I'm glad to see that both you and Yamcha got what you were looking for," said Gine.
_ "Thank you, Gine," Bulma then whispered in Gine's ear, "I hope you can revive your husband for your and Goku's happiness."
_ Gine nodded with a smile and said, "Thanks for everything, Bulma."
Then Bulma said goodbye, giving both Gine and Goku a hug.
_ "See you soon, Goku and Gine. I hope you become much stronger than Son Gohan," said Yamcha.
_ "Goodbye, Yamcha, and I hope you start behaving well from now on," said Gine.
_ "I will, Yamcha, you'll see, and I hope we can have another match soon," said Goku, happy, raising his fist.
_ "We will, Goku," said Yamcha with a smile, bumping his fist with Goku's.
_ "Hey, Oolong, you're also invited to come with us if you want," said Bulma with a smile.
_ "Alright, but I hope there are pretty girls in West City," said Oolong.
_ "There will be, but I can't guarantee you'll be their type," replied Bulma.
After everyone said their goodbyes, Goku called his Flying Nimbus, and both Goku and Gine climbed and sat on the cloud while Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong, and Puar boarded an aircraft that Yamcha took out from one of his capsules, and they all took flight. Goku and Gine flew on the Flying Nimbus next to the aircraft carrying Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong, and Puar until they went their separate ways, and Goku and Gine waved goodbye to their friends.
_ As Goku flew on the Nimbus with his mom, he started to reflect on the adventure he had with Bulma, Oolong, Yamcha, and Puar. He then said to Gine, "You know, mom, despite the recent dangers we faced, I had a lot of fun on this adventure, and I've had amazing experiences that I'll remember forever, not to mention everything I learned from you during this adventure."
_ "I feel the same way, Goku," said Gine with a smile, stroking her son's head.
_ Goku, feeling a bit sad, said, "Although I feel a bit sad that this adventure is over and that we had to say goodbye to our friends."
_ Gine, with a big smile full of excitement, said to her son, "Cheer up, Goku! I'm sure we'll see Bulma and our other friends again sooner than you think. And you know what? When one adventure ends, another even more exciting one is about to begin, and I'm sure that in the upcoming adventure, we'll have new and thrilling experiences and meet new friends."
_ "You're absolutely right, mom! Alright, Flying Nimbus, towards our next adventure!" shouted Goku with a big smile next to Gine.
To be continued...
