Jealous Jiren x Pride Trooper Reader

a/n- dreamerforever777777 I hope you like it, sorry it took so long, I've been a bit busy and I was struggling to come up with a plot.

The Pride Troopers, Universe 11's elite group of warriors, were renowned for their strength, discipline, and unwavering commitment to justice. Among them was Jiren, the stoic and powerful fighter known for his unmatched strength and focus. Alongside him was Y/N, a fellow Pride Trooper with whom Jiren had developed a deep, albeit silent, bond over time. Despite his usual stoicism, Jiren found himself feeling something he couldn't quite name when it came to Y/N.

The team had recently been dispatched to handle a situation on a distant planet where a group of rogue warriors was causing havoc. Due to the complexity and size of the mission, the Pride Troopers decided to split into smaller teams to cover more ground and efficiently handle the threat.

Jiren and Y/N were supposed to be teamed together, as usual, but at the last minute, Toppo, the leader of the Pride Troopers, decided that Y/N would be more effective paired with another member, Kahseral, who specialized in reconnaissance and strategy. Jiren was assigned with another trooper, Dyspo, to tackle a different part of the mission.

As they prepared for departure, Jiren couldn't help but feel a pang of something unfamiliar and uncomfortable—jealousy. He had never liked the idea of Y/N working closely with anyone else, especially not Kahseral, who was known for his charismatic personality and the way he could easily connect with others. Jiren had always been quiet and reserved, finding it difficult to express his feelings, especially to Y/N.

As the teams split off, Jiren's mood soured further. He watched from a distance as Y/N and Kahseral worked seamlessly together, their camaraderie evident in their easy banter and coordinated actions. Jiren, on the other hand, found it hard to focus, his mind distracted by the sight of Y/N with someone else.

Dyspo noticed Jiren's unusual behavior and couldn't help but comment. "Hey, Jiren, you seem a bit off today. Everything okay?"

Jiren grunted in response, trying to mask his emotions. "I'm fine," he replied curtly, his eyes narrowing as he watched Y/N laugh at something Kahseral said.

Dyspo smirked, realizing what was going on. "You know, it's okay to admit you're jealous. It's pretty obvious."

Jiren shot him a warning glare, but Dyspo just shrugged, unfazed. "Look, if it bothers you that much, why not talk to Y/N about it? Or, you know, try to do something about it."

Jiren huffed in annoyance, but Dyspo's words stuck with him. He knew Dyspo was right, but admitting his feelings, even to himself, was a struggle. He had always seen emotions as a weakness, something that could cloud judgment and compromise the mission. But now, as he watched Y/N interact with Kahseral, he couldn't deny the gnawing feeling in his chest.

The mission progressed, and the Pride Troopers handled the rogue warriors with their usual efficiency. Y/N and Kahseral successfully infiltrated the enemy's base, gathering vital information that allowed the rest of the team to neutralize the threat. Jiren did his part, but his mind was elsewhere, constantly drifting back to Y/N.

As they regrouped after the mission, Toppo congratulated the team on a job well done. "Great work, everyone. This mission could have been a lot more difficult if it weren't for the information Y/N and Kahseral gathered."

Jiren clenched his fists, feeling a mix of pride and frustration. He was proud of Y/N's achievements but frustrated that he hadn't been by her side to share in them.

After the debriefing, the team began to disperse. Jiren watched as Y/N and Kahseral talked animatedly, their conversation filled with laughter and camaraderie. Unable to stand it any longer, Jiren approached them, his face a mask of stoicism but his eyes betraying a flicker of something more intense.

Y/N noticed Jiren approaching and smiled warmly. "Hey, Jiren! You did great out there."

Jiren nodded, his voice low and controlled. "You too. Both of you," he added, his gaze briefly flickering to Kahseral.

Kahseral, sensing the tension, decided to excuse himself. "Well, I'll leave you two to chat. Good work today, Y/N," he said, patting her on the shoulder before walking away.

Y/N turned back to Jiren, her expression curious. "Is everything okay, Jiren? You seem... off."

Jiren hesitated, struggling to find the right words. He had never been good at expressing his emotions, especially not ones as complex as these. Finally, he sighed and looked Y/N in the eyes. "I didn't like seeing you work with Kahseral," he admitted, his voice low but firm. "It... bothered me."

Y/N blinked, surprised by Jiren's admission. "Why? We were just doing our jobs."

Jiren clenched his jaw, trying to articulate his feelings without sounding irrational. "I know. It's just... I don't like seeing you with him. Or anyone else. It's... distracting."

Y/N's eyes softened as she began to understand. "Jiren, are you jealous?"

Jiren looked away, his cheeks tinged with embarrassment. "I suppose I am. It's... frustrating."

Y/N smiled gently, stepping closer to him. "You don't have to be jealous, Jiren. Kahseral is just a teammate, nothing more."

Jiren sighed, relieved but still feeling the weight of his emotions. "I just don't want to lose you," he confessed quietly.

Y/N reached out, placing a hand on his arm. "You're not going to lose me, Jiren. I care about you, too. But you need to trust that, okay?"

Jiren looked down at her, his expression softening. "I do trust you. It's just... new for me."

Y/N chuckled softly. "It's new for me too, but we can figure it out together. Just, you know, maybe don't glare at Kahseral so much."

Jiren allowed a small smile to grace his lips. "I'll try," he promised.

As they stood there, sharing a rare moment of vulnerability, Jiren felt a sense of relief wash over him. It wasn't easy for him to admit his feelings, but with Y/N's reassurance, he felt more at ease. The jealousy he felt was a sign of how much he cared, but he knew he needed to channel those feelings into something positive.
