a/n- Blue_Ivy_626 Let me know what you think! I couldn't really come up with much for your request so I tweaked it a bit but it's still about him confessing and sorry it took so long!

The days following the grand revelation at Bulma's birthday party had been nothing short of a whirlwind. Y/N, the Goddess of Creation, had managed to resume her life among the mortals, though her status as a deity had certainly changed the dynamics of her relationships. Beerus, ever the trickster, had been unusually quiet, his antics replaced by a new, intriguing plan.
It was a bright morning when Goku and Vegeta appeared at Y/N's door, both wearing unusually serious expressions. Goku, always the ball of energy, looked slightly more subdued, while Vegeta's brows were furrowed in a rare display of concern.
"Y/N!" Goku greeted, his tone urgent but still carrying that familiar warmth. "We need your help with something."
Y/N eyed them both suspiciously. "Help with what? You both look like you've got something up your sleeves."
Vegeta crossed his arms, his gaze steady. "It's important. Beerus has—"
"Vegeta!" Goku cut him off, visibly flustered. "We weren't supposed to tell her that part yet!"
Vegeta shot Goku an annoyed look. "What difference does it make? She's bound to find out anyway."
Y/N's suspicion deepened as she watched their awkward exchange. "Wait, Beerus is involved in this?" she asked, already piecing things together. Her eyes flickered between the two of them. "What exactly is going on?"
Goku rubbed the back of his neck, clearly struggling to keep up the ruse. "Well... yeah, kinda. But it's really important, Y/N! We need you to come with us. Trust me on this."
Y/N folded her arms, narrowing her eyes. "You two are acting weird. If this was really about Beerus, you'd just say so, wouldn't you?"
Goku shot Vegeta an accusing glare. "See what you did? You blew it!"
Vegeta huffed, completely unfazed. "She was going to figure it out sooner or later, Kakarot. It's not like we're trying to lie to her."
Y/N, watching their bickering with growing amusement, sighed. "Alright, alright, just tell me the truth. What's really going on here?"
Goku threw up his hands in defeat, his frustration finally bubbling over. "Okay, fine! Look, Beerus has been acting... strange lately. He asked us to bring you to him, but we didn't want to freak you out, so we thought we'd just get you there first and explain later."
Vegeta, more direct, added, "It's not a trap. Beerus has something... important to discuss with you. So we're asking you to come with us. No funny business."
Y/N glanced between them, still uncertain but intrigued. "You two are terrible at keeping secrets, you know that?"
Goku sighed. "I know, I know! But please, Y/N, just come with us. It's not what you think."
Despite her reservations, Y/N decided to follow them. If Beerus had truly changed his approach, it was worth investigating. The three of them made their way to the forest on the outskirts of the Sacred World, Goku and Vegeta leading the way, their earlier tension fading into silent determination.
The forest was tranquil, the only sounds being the rustling of leaves and the occasional chirping of birds. Y/N couldn't shake the feeling that something was still off. Her senses, attuned to the subtle shifts in the environment, were on high alert.
As they walked deeper into the woods, Y/N noticed that the area seemed oddly serene. There were no signs of any impending danger—no dark clouds or foreboding auras. Instead, the forest was bathed in a gentle sunlight, casting dappled shadows on the ground.
Finally, they reached a clearing, where a charming picnic setup awaited. A blanket was spread out with an assortment of foods—delicacies from across the universe—and at the center was Beerus, looking more relaxed than Y/N had ever seen him. He was reclining on a cushion, a smirk playing on his lips as he sipped from a glass of what looked like wine.
Y/N stopped in her tracks, her eyes widening in disbelief. "What is this?"
Beerus looked up, feigning innocence. "Oh, Y/N! I'm glad you could make it. I thought a little picnic would be a nice change of pace."
Y/N turned to Goku and Vegeta, her gaze questioning. "You both knew about this?"
Vegeta raised an eyebrow. "Obviously. Who do you think set it up?"
Goku groaned, burying his face in his hands. "Vegeta, you weren't supposed to tell her that, either!"
Y/N crossed her arms, amused by the situation. "You two are really bad at this, you know."
Goku, still clearly embarrassed, tried to recover. "Look, it wasn't supposed to be this way. We were trying to make it a surprise..."
Beerus stood up, cutting through the tension with a wave of his hand. "Enough bickering. You're here now, Y/N, and that's what matters."
Y/N turned her attention to Beerus, still skeptical but curious. "Okay, Beerus. What's going on?"
Beerus smirked, his usual confidence returning. "I've been thinking. About us. About how things have changed."
Y/N raised an eyebrow. "Changed?"
"Yes," Beerus said, his voice softening. "You see, I've always enjoyed causing a bit of chaos, but it's not the same when you're around. You've brought something different into my life—something I didn't know I needed."
Y/N's heart fluttered at his words. "What are you saying, Beerus?"
Beerus took a deep breath, his usual air of arrogance replaced by genuine emotion. "I'm saying that I've realized how important you are to me. I may be a God of Destruction, but with you, I find a different kind of balance. One that I never thought possible."
He reached into a pocket of his robe and pulled out a small, elegant box. Opening it, he revealed a delicate, intricately designed necklace—a symbol of unity and balance. The charm at its center was a representation of both creation and destruction, intertwined in perfect harmony.
"This is for you," Beerus said, holding out the necklace. "A token of my appreciation and affection. I know I'm not always the easiest to get along with, but you've managed to bring out the best in me."
Y/N's eyes widened, touched by the gesture. She hesitated for a moment before taking the necklace from him. "Beerus, I... I didn't expect this."
Beerus smiled, a rare softness in his eyes. "I didn't expect to feel this way either. But here we are."
Goku and Vegeta exchanged knowing glances, their mission accomplished. They began to make their way back, Goku throwing a slightly exasperated look at Vegeta. "Let's just leave them to it before you mess up any more."
As they left, Goku called over his shoulder, "We'll leave you two alone. Have fun!"
With the Z fighters gone, Y/N and Beerus were left alone in the clearing. Y/N turned to Beerus, the necklace in her hand. "Thank you. This means a lot to me."
Beerus took her hand, his touch surprisingly gentle. "I'm glad. I wanted to show you how much you mean to me, even if my methods are unconventional."
Y/N laughed softly, her earlier reservations melting away. "You've definitely succeeded. This is a side of you I didn't know existed."
Beerus smirked, his usual confidence returning. "Consider it a new facet of my personality. You've managed to change my perspective, and for that, I'm grateful."
They sat together on the picnic blanket, enjoying the food and each other's company. As the sun began to set, casting a golden hue over the clearing, Y/N and Beerus talked about their hopes and dreams, their fears and desires. The connection between them grew deeper, the balance between creation and destruction now harmonized in a way neither of them had anticipated.
As the evening wore on, Y/N found herself feeling more at ease with Beerus than ever before. The tension and uncertainty that had once marked their interactions had been replaced by a genuine, heartfelt connection. And though the future remained uncertain, one thing was clear: in the midst of chaos, Y/N had found something—someone—worth cherishing.
As they prepared to leave the clearing, Y/N glanced at Beerus, a smile on her lips. "Thank you for the surprise. It was... perfect."
Beerus looked at her, his usual smirk replaced by a sincere smile. "Anytime, Y/N. Anytime."
