"And what do you know about drag?"Michelle Visage asked,looking very angry.Her cheeks were fifty shades of red and her teeth were gritted.

"Apparently more than you,you........BEAST!"Alyssa exclaimed,her fists balled together.Behind her,there sat Bianca,Detox,and Raja.Raja mouthed,'you go girl!' but made sure that the headmistress did not see.Bianca gave a wink of approval.Detox said nothing,nor moved,but her eyes told a different story.

"That's not a good roast......"A passing queen whispered,heels clicking the halls,looking inside the opened door.

Alyssa rolled her eyes."I ain't trying to roast anyone."She said in her heavy Texan accent,and after she said that,she had realized how quiet it had gotten.She didn't want to turn around and face the wrath.Alyssa felt adrenaline pump through her,and her face flushed white.Shit.......Visage was mad.....

"Always in forever,Alyssa Edwards!"She exclaimed with a nervous grin,running out the office door.Visage looked ready to explode when she took one more glance.She kept running and running,out of the school.Then she reached a park nearby and stopped to sit on a bench.

Visage had called Alyssa in to inform her her grades were dropping,and if she couldn't keep them up she would be expelled.She explained how she thought Alyssa's camera dress was absolutely cheap and hideous,and how kooky wasn't working this time for her.Alyssa then explained (not mad yet,feeling embarrassed) how she felt that there was still so much more to explore in drag,and that Visage should agree.But the headmistress said that Alyssa's 'exploring' wasn't going to help her.Then....that's when the anger came and how Alyssa now was expelled.She knew if she went back they'd still kick her out for smart mouthing the headmistress.

Alyssa walked,mumbling on the sidewalk.Where would she go?Her family was far away,and she had grown used to this city.She wanted to continue drag.

That's when,she heard a rustling in the bushes.Alyssa turned around,heels stomping."Who's there?"

A queen popped out,wearing a bright red wig with black highlights.She had on a denim jacket and a show with a quote from a cartoon show Alyssa didn't watch but knew.The queen wore black tights,and fashionable hiking boots.Adore,one of the rebels.

Adore laughed."Before you turned around,there were backrolls all over the place,gurl.Believe me."

Alyssa let out a 'mock' gasp."Trying to 'Jade Jolie' me,Adore?"

She giggled,and put a hand on Alyssa's shoulder."Nah,that bitch doesn't go there anymore,does she?What happened?"

Alyssa shrugged."Eh,I don't know."

Adore looked at Alyssa with a particular curiosity and asked the pageant queen,"What are you doing out here?Isn't it still time at the Academy?Besides,isn't Michelle strict on students staying in the academy."Party Girl Adore said the headmistress' name with udder disgust,just like any other rebel.

Alyssa froze for a minute.She needed a home,and there had been rumors about how the rebels were living a good,clean life.Trixie,who was somehow in touch with Katya had told her friends about it,and it had reached her ears.But rumors were rumors,and sometimes they weren't true.At all.But Alyssa did need somewhere to stay......

"Adore,I got.......expelled."she said,looking away.Adore raised an eyebrow.

"I never thought you were one to,Tongue Popper."The other queen said."What happened?"

"I-I called Headmistress Visage.....a beast."Alyssa stuttered,looking away.

Adore laughed."That's the best insult you could come up with?It's pretty lame.And she isn't your headmistress anymore."

"I called her a beast."

"Well,she is.Bianca told me,when we used to talk....."Adore blushed a bit."and were in school about how in the olden days she would think she was a drag queen!Do you know what this means.......?You."She grabbed Alyssa's shoulders with a beaming smile."Are.A.Rebel!"

Alyssa didn't say anything,and she looked rather distracted,mumbling incoherent words.

"Alyssa.......you okay?"Adore asked.

"I'm fine."She said,stuttering a little.Alyssa was secretly glad.She had broke free......under the clutches of the academy and Visage.

"Hey,wanna come over at our house?"She asked."We could always use another brain with Alaska's......master plan."Adore grinned."Oh,and the talent show,I'm sure the school has informed you."

Yes,Alyssa had heard of the talent show.We are going to lose,she thought,then scrunched up her face.I'm calling the rebels and I we.Well.....that's a start.They are going to lose,it's them against the academy.

"Well,do I have a place to sleep?"She asked,rather rudely.

"Uh......yeah I think."Adore said."The basement.But it's pretty dirty.I'll clean it up."she said quickly.

Why did Adore want Alyssa to join them?Then,it came to Alyssa:they needed more queens for the talent show.

"Fine."She grumbled."I'll come.But if the place is too dirty,I'll leave.I'll help you with Alaska's plan and the show,if you can meet with my agreements."

Adore grinned ear to ear."Yay!Follow me,our secret hideway is nearby."Alyssa groaned in the way Adore said hideway,it sounded like all those cliche action movies.

But.....she followed her.Alyssa's new life began.
