"I wouldn't be able to talk business if I got drunk, And now that the village gathered I've got a message to deliver" gen states

"Oh yeah?" Yuna appeared along with senku "Well let's hear it then mentalist,What have you got?" Senku asked "I can take a guess, Is it tsukasa's empire?"

Gen turned his head to reveal a malicious smile "He's coming, And he's bringing an army"He says, which shocks kohaku, chrome and suika while kaseki stated quite

Flash back

from gen's memories, when he went back to speak to taukasa "Gen, You haven't really seen senku's body, and as for yuna, I may not know a lot about her, but I do know she'd protect him no matter what, If they're out there somewhere alive, They're likely discover the village and use it to build the kingdom of science" he sighs exasperated "And that would be the worst conceivable scenario...As soon as we've assembled an army. We will take the village by force"

Flashback end

"Really.....?" Yuna gripped her hands into a fist in anger ' tsukasa how dare you!.....' her form shook with rage

"An entire army of men like him, all of them ridiculously strong and just as ruthless?" Kohaku asks in shock

"That's the idea yes, He's been very busy reviving people" gen states, senku chuckled "it's finally come to an all out
War between the kingdom of science, and the empire of might, time for a show down, get excited..."

Meanwhile

Over the bridge, kinro and ginro stood on guard, kinro standing at the front while ginro stood on the bridge, he kept looking at the village where he could hear people cheering at the celebration " it's not fair..." he whined " I wanna party" He side glared behind kinro's head "If it wasn't for mr the rules are the rules, I'd be back there living it up with the rest of them right now..."

"Protecting the village is our duty" kinro stated "And if they're going to attack, this would be the time when we're off guard"his eyes widened when he heard the shuffling of leaves, and got defensive "Ginro. Go back and alert the others Now" he instructed "Hmm? Bout what-" he asked but was cut off when he kinro got his shield ready, also the fact that there were people in the bushes, that made him gulp

"If they reach the living quarters where the children are It's over..." kinro says "Listen if I'm killed. Cut the bridge, Don't worry about my body"Which Ginro's breathed quivered, but he gave in and rushed back to the others

He moves back, still watching his front, still armed

Someone hid in the darkness high up in the tree observing kinro bellow 'Hmm, he knows the numbers aren't in his favour, So he's hoping to lure us onto the bridge to fight us one at a time....I like it, He's a proper warrior'

The members of the tsukasa empire stood outside the bridge still in the bushes

Kinro still kept his distance when one took a step forward, the same one smirked and  jumped in for the attack "ahh! Look at this guy trying to run away, You scared of us cave man?!" He laughed

However kinro with a battle roar and slammed the blunt end of the spear in his face with such force it sent him flying into his buddies 

The guy that had hidden himself jumped down next to them " Huh, your even more mush brained than I imagined if you thought you could win a spear man on a narrow bridge, that strategy wasn't proper At all" he says peeved as the guy from before held his nose "I think...he broke my nose..." he groaned

"We're sorry hyoga sir..." one of his buddies apologised

Hyoga stepped forward, so kinro got defensive, However his eye twitched which hyoga seemed to notice "Hmm interesting...You have poor eyesight don't You?"

Back to the others

"And Tsukasa isn't the only major threat...there's another among them who's bad ooz- nay..." gen states "If either he or Tsukasa show up at the head of the war party, Frankly you would have no choice but to run. His name is hyoga, and he was only recently revived" he then began to explain "I offered to go in and spy and stir things up, relay the ground work, so I left first before the rest of the forces, I don't know how much time it'll buy us-"

Just the Ginro came running towards them screaming "Everyone! It's happening! The enemy's attacking!" He shouted

And with those words, yuna sprinted off in a hurry to stop them, meanwhile the others were yelling as they chased after Her

" yuna wait!!!" Chrome yelled

" you idiot!" Senku exclaimed, but she ignored them and was only thinking about protecting the village, and every one in it, meanwhile back on the bridge, Kinro barley managed to dodge, hyoga's spear, scraping against the Shield, but at a fast pace 'Impossible!' His eyes widened as he slid to a halt 'How is he able to move his spear so quickly?!'

The others arrived to witness the tall strange man with short white hair fighting against kinro "They're already attacking!?" Gen exclaimed in disbelief " this isn't good! See the guy kinro's fighting?! That's hyoga!"

Before anyone could do anything, hyoga thrust his spear and struck Kinro in the mid-section, causing him the cough out blood before he was tossed over the bridge, but before he fell, his arm was grabbed and was tossed against the bridge floor, grunting in pain, and the white cloth over his wound, looked up to see with wide eyes his saviour

" yuna!?" Everyone stood still stupefied by the scene unfolding before their own eyes.

" hang on kinro!" She says, still glaring daggers at her opponent " keep pressing the cloth against your wound....I'll handle this..." she then marched forward while the masked guy looked her top to bottom 'This girl...could she be...' his thoughts were cut off, when she twisted herself, and barley able to dodge her move, he steps back, only to have a small cut and blood leaking from it ' what?...'

" hyoga sir!" One of his men exclaimed And tried to rush forward but two white blurs sped past, growling which caused them to stop terrified by the snarling animals

"So it is you..." he says staring at her ' I remember now...I've only seen someone with crimson hair like that' his mind traveled to a tournament he'd seen in a crowd, he saw someone talking to a young girl in a white martial arts uniform before her match ' She was the most amazing martial artist of the young generation...' her girl glowing from the light of the sun 'I saw her from far away but the way the sun glinting of her fiery hair drew my eye, It was the most majestic thing I'd ever see Her name was yuna Suzuki' his mind was brought back to reality, of the fiery red head standing between him and the village 'I knew itIt really so you...yuna Suzuki!'

'It will be an honour to bring down such a worthy opponent...' he thought getting ready to do battle with her

She charged at him, as he did her, he thrust his spear out like he did with kinro, however to his surprise she dodged it, and swiped her dagger, which he dodged

the two continued this fight until he managed to catch her wrist and punch her the face and knock her back, causing the others to gasp, however she stayed tall, gritting her teeth and continued her fight, he attempted his stab, but she anticipated his move, and dodged it at the last second, before moving back, she'd grazed his cheek

"Yuna! KINRO!" Kohaku yelled and tried to run down the bridge, dagger in hand, but was held back by her father.  "No stop!" he shouted. 

" cut it!!" Yuna shouted while holding hyoga back " hurry and cut the bridge down! Ginro!" said guy let out a gasp and stared at his own spear with wide eyes

"Let me go, I have to help!" Kohaku growled while struggling to get out of his grip"You cant!" Kokuyo scolded. "The bridge is narrow and he's got a spear!"

"But Kinro and yuna are going to-!" she argued. "Kohaku!" her father said sternly.

"Think about the children ginro!" Turquoise exclaimed " we need to cut the bridge now! Hurry! do it!"

Ginro hesitantly moved towards the ropes and slowly began to cut it  "Your right...." he muttered shakily. "I have to...cut down the bridge...and save the village"

However the two people on the bridge came to mind, and the overwhelming pain that was holding inside grew even stronger, Tears trickled down his cheeks before he removed his spear from the rope and sobbed, "I can't....I can't cut the bridge down...if I do that...kinro and yuna are going to die!...who could I kill my own brother and friend!...."

Senku bit his lower lip as he watched the scene ' damn it wolf girl!... always jumping into a fight without thinking!...' he turned to face Kaseki and grabbed the iron pipe from him. "What are you going to do with that iron pipe?" the old man asked as he shoved soul into it, then poured a bottle of iron powder into the pipe as he muttered with a chuckled "we're down to the last of our gun powder, Who would have thought we'd be using it for a bluff?"

Gen, on the other hand, watched him light up a wooden stick with confusion at first. But it was soon replaced with doubt as he asked, "wait, eriously say?"

He walked over to the rest of the villagers the one person in particularly and asked, " your the strongest person in the village right magma?"

"Yeah?" was the said man's response.

"Would you kindly throw this at the enemy?" Gen said while holding up a big rock " as hard as you can" he instructed

"Huh?" Which confused Magma. "How am I supposed to hit them from here with that? And why should I listen to an outsider like you-"

"You don't have to hit them" gen interrupted " senku's the chief, but you want to take the title away from him, how will you do that if the whole village is lost?"This seemed to get magma thinking " Cooperate and you might get your chance"

Senku lit up the "rifle" with the fire and aimed it towards the enemy " magma now!" On gens cue, Magma swung his hand backwards and threw the rock with all his strength, At the sound of the gunpowder combusting, the enemies looked over in alarm, and the rock collided with the wall on the other side of the Wall causing a slight tremour making it seem like Senku fired a real rifle. 

Gen rushed over to pretend that he made Senku miss the fire by pushing the "weapon" out of aim, " Hyoga quick!  Take everyone and get out of here!" He pushed Senku back and ran towards them.

" we need to retreat now! This village already has guns!" The other enemies quickly fled in terror

" go!"

" damn it!"

" run!"

Gen ran past the spear-wielding man. " come on Hyoga! It's not safe for you either!"

his gaze was mainly on the green haired man"A working fire arm, which means you must be him"

" it was very considerate of you guys to give us time preparing." Senku chuckled. "the Kingdom of Science is ready"

"Huh...I'm sure Tsukasa will be simply delighted to hear that." Hyoga remarked before his eyes trailed to the redhead "but I'm afraid he won't be happy to know your here..."

"Pass on a message for us, tell Tsukasa." Senku jeered "Ishigami Senku is still alive, And yuna Suzuki is with him, and isn't going anywhere. Let him know we're waiting for him, with the ten billion rifles we made using the power of science."

" and if he or any of you even thinks about harming senku, or any of the villagers here..." yuna's eyes darkened " you'll be giving a fate...worse than death...."

After that Hyoga and the rest of the enemies fled, Kohaku and Ginro rushed to where san with a slight injury laid the injured man down. "Ahh! He's dead! Kinro's dead!" Ginro cried  " no...I'm still alive." The injured boy grunted. "Don't kill me off, Ginro." As he laid on the bridge gasping for air, yuna lifted his head up then presumed to lay his head on her lap " rest your head." She said, he grew flustered " no! I-I could possibly-" " I mean it kinro" she said in a serious tone, as sora barked pushing him back down with his paw

And with that gave yuna the chance to shove a glass funnel into his mouth, catching him off guard, his eyes widened.  "acetanilide, an antipyretic and analgesic." she explained while pouring a test tube containing some kind of brownish-grey powder into the funnel, directly into Kinro's throat

"  we had to whip up a batch in order to make the sulphur drug" senku explained

"And now a pitch..." yuna then began rubbing a white substance directly onto his wound, Kinro winced at the stinging sensation, earning concerned looks from Kohaku, Chrome and Ginro

" rubbing this on your wounds and you'll be fine by tomorrow, maybe" She added more, eliciting a painful groan from Kinro. 

"That soon?!" Kohaku gasped in disbelief.

"Your making that up aren't you?!" Chrome exclaimed as yuna continued rubbing the stuff on the guys wound

Next day

The sun had risen and the group, minus, senku and yuna watched as Kinro was climbing up the ladder leading to the storeroom and announced, "it doesn't hurt at all now"

"That's bad!" Chrome exclaimed as everyone else yell in surprised, However noticed the beads of perspiration and his painful expression on kinro's face . "Hold on, he's just acting tough, he's still no where near okay!"

" I can't guard the village if I'm bed ridden by some minor injury."kinro stated grunting from the pain, blood started oozing out of his bandaged wound. "Theres no telling when those bastards will come back to attack us in full force."

"Your so dedicated!" Chrome exclaimed

"Course he's dedicated, he's still kinro"Ginro deadpanned

" yeah, he's got it wrong" senku says from inside the site storeroom looking at the containers of materials  " we can predict exactly when they'll be coming back" senku remarked while kinro poked his head in the door way

Else where

The guy from before roared, slashing the trees with his spear " I can't go crawling back to Tsukasa after being utterly humiliated by a bunch of weaklings! Or that little girl and her mutts!" He growled in a feral matter "Damn it those twigs would be nothing of it weren't for they're guns!"

Meanwhile gen was next to him leaning against a tree "I have a suggestion, Why not attack during a storm when they can't use their match locks?"

Back with the group

"They'll time they're attack to occur during a storm cause they're afraid Of our nine existing rifles" senku explained " Gen will talk them into it"

Back in the woods

"Ah I get it" the muscle head smirked, liking the idea "Can't light fuses when it's raining"

"The outcome of our attack was less than ideal" hyoga remarked from the other side of the tree in front of them "but whining about it now is pointless; As for striking during a storm is such san obvious move it might well get us killed" he stated

"Huh?..." the muscle head growled

"Now that we know senku is alive, And yuna Suzuki Is with him the tables have turned a one hundred eighty degrees, Let's do this properly We should return to Tsukasa at once And build as large an army as we can" he announced

"Ha! What's the matter hyoga are you scared?!" Muscle head guy taunted "your just like those villagers Aren't ya!" Then gestured to the weapon he'd left lying against the tree "Your a hopeless little twig without your weapon your Kudayari or whatever you call it!"

Gen picked up the weapon and began examining it "A Kudayari? Is that the name of this spear with a little bamboo tube...I've never seen one before"

"I strongly suggest putting that down, Unless you want me to kill you" hyoga warned, making the mentalist drop it immediately "Ahh! Right hands of sorry hyoga!"

"It's settled! We'll attack as soon as a storm hits!" Muscle head announced to the other strong men who cheered "Yeah!!!!"

Meanwhile hyoga was in deep thought 'If they're so eager for a fight, Sending them shading senku and san might make for a good opening gambit after all, Who knows we may be able to win, But if those apes fight and loose at least well seen the kingdom of sciences hand, They're not worth much in this game...Even as pawns' he thought with dark eyes

Time skip

After some work, kinro was hand his own pair of glasses, made with bamboo frames, he pushed them up to his nose, finally seeing the world around him clearly.

"Aw man he's looks like a badass!" Chrome grinned with a with a thumbs up.

" I like them!" Sapphire comments with a light blush on her cheeks.

"And those should cure his fuzzy sickness?" Turquoise questioned with mildly surprised

"Sorcery or science whatever you call it is inpressive." Kokuyou complimented impressed

" I'm so Glad Kinro won't have to deal with the fuzzy sickness anymore." The young blond smiled happily, kohaku looked over and noticed the girl had a new watermelon helmet" oh hey, you got some new glasses too Huh?"

"Sure did! Yuna made them for me! Different from kinro's but this just feels more right for me you know?" she gleamed while the leaf on the melon propelled to show her happiness.

"Speaking of yuna where is she?" Chrome asked looking around until he and kohaku heard the sudden bashing sounds and looked towards the woods and saw a certain someone punching the trees

"Oh, she's currently breaking the trees, imagining them as that hyoga guys face" senku replied nonchalantly, while the boy and girl sweat dropped "wolf girl! Quiet beating up nature and help us out!"

Said girl pulled her fist back, looking at it in anger, gripping her fist at a single though in her mind from the past ' where does your strength come from yuna?...'

Time skip

Senku carries over a basket full of charcoal towards the furnace " that's not all the scientific battle prep we're doing either" the placing the basket down "The man in the black mask is quite formidable ." Kohaku deduced "Do you have some way to use science to beat him?" She asked

"Yeah." Senku replied "You and the rest of the battle team are gonna be in tears when you see what it is" he said as kaseki walked up to him "it's time to show off your skills are ya ready?"

"Hmm?"

Senku leaned closer to the confused man, whispering to him something to Him, which left Kohaku watching them with puzzlement.

Kaseki suddenly had stars in his eyes with excitement. "Oh yeah! You better believe I'm ready!" And of course, his excitement made him rip his clothes into pieces, to which the girls around him covered their eyes in embarrassment

"Just the thought of crafting does disturbing things to his muscles...." Kohaku muttered standing next to chrome who had blue lines all over near his eyes

"We need to hurry and get started." Senku stated while lifting up the basket of charcoal "there's no time to waste!"We're in a race against the storm and we can't afford to loose now."

"Heck yeah!" Chrome cheered enthusiastically as something was being curbed in the furnace

"All hands on deck! Ishigami Village!" announced the Chief. "Right!" They cheered in unison.

Time skip

dark clouds rolled in, wind blowing strongly, kohaku stood on the Bridge, taking note of the wind with an uneasy look on her face. "A powerful winds blowing in from the mountains." she murmured

Yuna stood nearby, the Wolfs began to growl, indication the enemy was close, and told them to hush and be ready as backup under her whistle

Elsewhere, the enemy wasn't far away, observed the weather " hahaha! It's a storm! And we only needed to wait three days!" The muscle head smirked delighted " the heavens are obviously on our side, Let's see how they fight without they're guns!" They began they're March, gen walking behind hyoga

Senku stood in the middle of the bridge, waiting for the enemy to arrive, resting the iron pipe on his right shoulder

Upon hearing the loud stomp of they're the footsteps from the other side, he quickly reached out for the flames to light up the "rifle" only to have the wind blow it off, He watched in panic as the enemies were approaching the defenceless boy

" hahaha!"

All of a sudden the the boy smirked, all of a sudden from the sides of the bridge behind him, six figures jumped in, each wielding a katana in their hands as they lunged at the enemies

(And no, they aren't wearing those clothes, just like mecha senku this is just an image that appeared)

"They have Japanese Katanas?!" Muscle head guy exclaimed disbelief.

Senku snickered " these are the most powerful weapons in the stone world" As the groups katana's sliced through the enemies stone weapons "The blades of science!"

"Proper weapons" hyoga murmured "I like it, Well done kingdom of science"

"They might not be perfectly finished, but they'll do the job" Senku said arms crossed as he watched

Magma sliced the Muscle head guys spear to pieces

'I can see clear.' Kinro noted as he sliced his attackers weapons. 'This is the power of glasses!'

'I have Magma, Kohaku, yuna and Kinro, by my side! We can do this!' Ginro exclaimed in thought

'Ha! It cuts through they're weapons easily!' Kohaku thought as she also managed to destroy the enemies' weapons

"Tch...these guys are nothing but jokes' yuna thought as she sliced her attackers tools, then kicked them straight in the face, knocking them back

'So This is the power of science!' Kokuyo thought as he defeated his enemies as well, In the end, the enemies stood before the Kingdom of Science wielding broken weapons "Damn it how did they make blades like that?" One of them questioned "We're screwed!" Another of them gasped with an anxious expression

Flash back

Unmo and Ganen heated the iron bar with the bamboo pump as much as they could, no matter how tired they were getting
" get it up to twelve hundred degrees with pine coals" Soon the flames turned purple " when the flames turn purple, it's ready" senku muttered

Kaseki, wielding two mallets, pounded the piece of metal

" smack the hell out of the metal To get rid of impurities, then we fold it, fire it up again and got it some more"

the metal was put Back into the furnace, then brought back out and wacked again strengthen it

" this folding process is called Orikaeshi tanren, Doing it repeatedly powers up the iron, it's hot sweety brutal work for the crafts man, and you have to do it at least ten times" Senku explained " that's bad!!!" Chrome exclaimed with a dreadful expression as the old man at the thought, Senku then added, "to make a real Japanese katana but we won't do it that many times, just twice"

"And that's Enough?!" Chrome asked in disbelief

" we have modern science to thank for that" senku chuckled as he looked over at the brunette " we looked at the crystalline structure of metal and realised it was basically done after two folds. We aren't katana artisans. We're going for speed, any step science lets us skip we skip."

The blade was finally forged and senku began brushing it with some black looking paint

"What's more important than the folding is the quenching."

Chrome and kohaku watched puzzled by the terminology as the scientist explained while the craftsman heated the blade in the furnace " the blade cooks tight through, turning into martensite as it does, But the part we coated clay paste bake less, becoming semi-hard ferrite"  senku explained while only confusion chrome and kohaku

"Let's see, I don't know much about the science behind it." Kaseki says while cooking the blade under the fire while watching the efffects " but the point is, the blade itself is made strong for cutting, and the blunt edge is made flexible for parrying. That's the idea right? Pretty amazing!"

Senku chucked " no big surprise there, I figured a craftsman would understand, yeah the difference between the two Sides Is the key, that what makes the Japanese katana the most powerful blade in the world"

Flash back end

The group stood up front aiming they're weapons at the enemy while also keep they're distance

"Our weapons are breaking apart!" One of them shook

"It's not only your weapons that are being broken, your feeble minds are shattering as well"hyoga says as he camels approached With his kudayari in hand

" which imagine is exactly what Senku wanted to accomplish, hence this little display with the Japanese katana's." Magma noticed something off about him, and as soon as hyoga took another step, he lunged at them, moving his spear in a circular motion At rapid speed

"But your katanas are no match for my kuda yari and my Kanryu-style spear fighting!"

'It's round.' Magma noted standing frozen, observing the spears movement ' like the moon, what is going on?!' the tip slashed his forearm and hand, inflicting pain that forced him to release his weapon

Hyoga thrust the spear at Kohaku, who managed to deflect the blow, but the force caused her to skid a few feet backward.

Ginro was about the get hit if not for his brother, who stood in front of him, the spear struck his back, yuna quickly reacted by jumping back, before she was hit, just still gaining some scars

Magmas sword was lost to the water below

' This spearman's in a different league' kohaku noted while glaring daggers at the man ' it's like gen said, he's the real threat Here' Just then gen poked up from behind them in the bushes "Magma, Kohaku, yuna and Kinro are strongest fighters in the village, Bring down those four and victory will be yours for taking hyoga" he advised slyly

"Thank you so much for the advice, Gen." Hyoga replied " not that I couldn't have seen it for myself"

"that Gen bastard is helping the enemy! What the hell?!" Magma growled furiously

"Did he switch back over to their side?" Kohaku questioned quietly. "That sneaky rat!"

" calm down" kinro instructed as yuna continued " he's saying we have to join forces, that it's the only way we're going to defeat this guy"

"Alright!" Magma grabbed the katana from Ginro  "Hey! Get it back! That's not yours!!" the boy cried

  "Then let's do this, Kinro. Yuna."Kohaku nodded. "Magma!" She shouted but But the said man was already lunging in for the enemy roaring "He's not even listening!"

"Well That's Magma for you!" Ginro remarked

"Huh...whatever, we can still coordinate our attack" she then declared "magma will block his view, while he does you'll give me a boost." She says to kinro" while I have him distracted please finish him off" she then says to yuna " right" the two nodded " you got it" kinro says as the three got into action " um!? A boost for what?!" Ginro questioned still in the dark

Magma held the katana in front to block Hyoga's attacks, Kohaku leaped up high, landing on Kinro's blade, was launched up over the blond man

However Hyoga merely tilted the weapon upward and pushed the boom through the bamboo, causing the weapon to rapidly spin in a wide circle. 'He can still react to an attack from above?' she thought. 'If I can just strike the first blow...' She let out a gasp when she saw how his weapon worked 'He's twisting his wrist to spin the tip around. Moving that fast I can't tell where it is!'

It was too late once she finally located the tip, just as it was about to reaching her abdomen, All of a sudden, the tip was sliced, by a katana, much to they're shock, and kohaku landed side her saviour " yuna..."

" didn't you listen to anything I said?" The girl kept her eyes forward at her opponent" if he or any of you even thinks about harming senku, or any of the villagers here...that I'll give...you a fate...worse than death...." she said with narrowed eyes

"She broke the tip?....." kinro looked confused and surprised as his brother "I didn't see that one coming" ginro commented

Hyoga looked at his spear, the cut most specifically " A cut that precise couldn't have been made with stone tools, and it was well-hidden" He muttered aloud. "with enough force, the spear falls apart, it's almost like magic isn't it?" 

"For elray?!?" Gen exclaimed in shock." she's that good?!"

the white-haired man thought back, gen was the only one who touched his weapon

" A Kudayari? Is that the name of this spear with a little bamboo tube?..." he noticed something around gens finger back then as his fingers moved

"I have to admit gen..." he sibilated. "I'm impressed... You did a proper job, you fill the role of filthy turn coat quite well."

"No! You don't really believe that do you?!"Said guy sobbed with tears at the corner of his eyes. "I would never betray your trust!" Hyoga's unwavering glare was fixated on him, the mentalist stopped his innocent facade " well damn..."which was replaced with a wide grin. "You had me figured out already, guess I can't put anything past you."

Back on the other side of the bridge Chrome, ruri, kaseki and suika watched

Flash back

Senku crouched down in front of Holding out a tiny blade"Suika, go give this to gen" he instructed "Hmm? But he went off with those bullies of tsukasas to who knows where." she pointed out, confused "so how am I supposed to find them?"

"A mentalist like him would have left signs for us to follow" the scientist stated " signs that only we would be able to recognise, Which makes this a job for Detective Suika!" With that, the said girl happily took off on her little mission with her sidekick, moving around the woods looking for any signs gen may have left behind

Chalk then barked, gaining her attention and led her to some flowers lying in the shade of a tree
