I sat next to him. We didn't say anything we just sat and let the silence talk for us.

Its been a month since bey has been in the hospital and she still hasn't woken up. I'm not sure what her condition is because her mother won't let me visit her. If anything I'll sneak in to see her but that's it.  Its been hard not hearing her voice. I miss my beybey. Jerome has been taking it rough too he really misses her. He's been acting up again and I'm not sure how to control him. I've talked to him, took away his games, making him stay in his room. Nothings working.

Today I plan on seeing bey at the hospital. I try to come early because rarely anyone is there. I was headed over there now to see her.

The hospital was quiet not too much happening. I went straight to her room. Nobody was there for her so I took my time.  She looked so peaceful.

"Hey bey. Its Shawn. Its been a minute since I've heard your voice. I miss you. Jerome misses you. He's not doing too well bey. he's acting up again. He needs you. Please Bey Bey wake up for me."

"Mm...Shawn. I've been awake. "

"Bey oh my god. Baby. "I hugged her

"Ow Shawn. I'm still sore."

"Bey I'm so happy you're awake. When did you wake up? "

"Three days ago. I was wondering when you would come see me."

"Look Bey. I've been here almost everyday to come see you. I missed you so much." I kissed her  on the forehead.

"Bey do you remember the accident."

"Not really. I don't really remember the last couple months. Just bits and pieces. Its like a blur sort of. I know that me and Michael are still engaged but I think he's cheating. Me and you are really really close and Jerome is my right hand man. I'm still working at the school and that's all I remember. Is that right?"

"No no so much has changed bey. You and Michael aren't engaged anymore. We lived together for a bit and you are my girlfriend now."

"What? Why? How?"

"Well Michael was cheating and he beat you. I took care of you. we got closer and became an item."

"But why would he do that?" Beyoncé teared up and I just wiped her tears away.

"He was an asshole. He was cheating with his secretary. He neglected you and left me to pick up the pieces."

"I knew something was going on with that bitch. I never trusted her ass. "

"So where do I live now?"

" you don't live anywhere"

"I'M HOMELESS?"

"You moved out the condo from Michael and lived with me but you wanted to be independent so you moved to a hotel and you checked out about a month or so ago. The day you got into the accident."

"How did I get into an accident? Why would I check out?"

I sighed knowing she would eventually find out it was my fault.

"Well ....it was my fault. I wasn't paying attention. I was nervous. I went to see you and when you pulled out. I turned around to look at Jerome and we crashed. I'm so sorry bey I never meant for that to happen. You have to believe me baby"

"....so you're the reason I'm here"

"Yes..."

There was silence and it was killing me. I didn't wan't bey to leave me again. I couldn't take it. She's made me so happy and I can't bear to lose her.

"Its alright. It was an accident...."

"What?"

"Its Ok. I forgive you but were going to have to start all over. I don't really remember our relationship just a tad bit.  Ill have little snippets pop in my head like one time we were at ivy and we were talking. Then another time we were at some apartment and we were um...we...umm...we were naked laying in bed so we probably had sex and other little things.Other than that everything else is a blur plus I'm still getting over the fact that me and Michael aren't together. I just need to figure this all out."

"I understand but you know I'm here if you need me."

"I know Shawn. you always have been. I remember that much." Bey giggled and couldn't help but smile.

"Well Beyoncé Knowles. If you don't mind. I would love to take you out on a date."

"Well I don't but hold your horses I have to get out of here first."

"When are you getting released."

"Two days"

"Thank god. I was going crazy without you "

"Mhmm sure.."

"Trust me bey I was"

"Oh Shawn?"

"Where am I going to stay when I get out?"

"You could stay with me"

"Its too soon. Im still getting use to being back so can you help me find a place. I'd like a loft."

"Alright well I'll help you when you get out and then we'll get you situated"

"Ok thanks big head"

"Yea whatever big ears."

"Hey that's not fair."

Bey took her pillow and threw it at me, but she winced a little.

"See that's what your ass gets for trying to me a little thug. Rest baby."

"Whatever fag"

"There you go with that name calling?" I smiled as  I teased her.

"Shawn, Can you come and just sit with me?"

"Yea "

Bey scooted over so I could lay next to her. I held her as we watched TV. I rubbed her as I heard  her start to lightly snore eventually I drifted off too.

I woke up to the sound of a woman screaming "no he is not allowed in here. Get him out of here."

Next thing you know I see two security guards standing over me asking  me to "please get up and leave."

I wasted no time in waking bey up so I could get her approval so I could stay.

"Bey baby wake up"

"Mmmm.m"

"Come on Bey Bey"

"What Shawn?"

"They're trying to make me leave"

Bey sat up and looked at the security guards and her mother...

"Mama what the hell are you doing here?" Bey looked furious, clearly they weren't on good terms last time she was awake.

"Excuse me. But I am your mother and I came to check up on  my daughter who was hit by the same man she's laying in bed with,so you need to show me some damn respect."

"Oh please. You know damn well that's not why you came. you came to get me to talk to that bitch of a husband and the rest of the fucked up family."

"Well you do."

"I don't need to and and I refuse to. So please leave. I'm tired of you trying to push that family onto me."

"That family? THAT FAMILY? THAT FAMILY IS YOUR FAMILY AND DON'T YOU EVERR FORGET THAT"

"whatever you can leave and take these damn guards with you. You're not welcome. Shawn you stay"

Beys mother stormed out but not before she shot daggers at me through her beady little eyes. I sat in silence as bey cried. I leaned forward  to rub her back but she  flinched.

"Bey its Ok."

She glanced at me before leaning into my arms. I closed my eyes and hoped every thing would get better.
