Chapter 8
•day 25•
We were sitting on the beach, once again, and sharing things about one another.
"Guys, is this our daily routine?" I asked, out of the blue.
Jax nodded his head, looking at the sunset.
"Yea, this is our wonderful routine." Marry commented.
"Ok, so what are we talking about today?" Marry asked.
"Fears." I suggested.
Marry and Jax nodded.
"Who goes first?" I asked.
"Jax, you go first." Marry offered.
"......."
"C'mon, Jax." Marry prompted.
"I'm afraid of losing control of my anger. Its what got me into a lot of fights as a kid." Jax said, kinda meanly, looking away from us.
"Jax, we would never try and make you angry. And if you lost control, we'd be there." I comforted him.
He looked at me and I knew he wants to know my fear.
"Ok, so I'm afraid of zombies." I said, looking straight at them.
"Really??" Marry asked, on the verge of laughing.
"Yea, they freak me out with their rotting bodies." I said, while shivering.
Then, she burst out laughing. Not at me, just the thought of zombies seems so unreal to us here.
"Marry, what's yours?" I asked her.
"I'm afraid of the dark. I hate it. And I'm not some little kid for being scared of it, either." She said, puffing out her cheeks.
"Its ok, Marry. I'll always be here for you and Jax, and I like the fact that your childish." I said, smiling at her.
