I open my eyes when I feel  my head snap to the right... someone just slapped me. I look at who it was and grin. Oh it's just my master... why does my head hurt? He helps me off my bed. I'm in my room? How do I know magic ready? I ask myself recalling all of my knowledge about magic." Do I have a mission master?" I ask bowing. Why does this feel wrong? He nods and I follow him out of the small dark room." May I ask what it is?" I ask as we reach the weapon room where I was to suit up.

He tossed me my Talon costume and weapons. I catch them and chant a spell making my costume/armor appear on me." Nice trick." He says as we walk towards the front entrance of the secret base." Your mission is to take out the Justice League's teenage operatives. Failure is not an option!" He said sternly as I nodded. I slid on the Talon helmet and nod to him once more as I walk out the door and into the horrid world.

I stood at the base of a huge mountain. This is the secret base? Stupid if you ask me. Then I saw something flash in my mind...

I was walking around inside a huge mountain with a costume on but it wasn't a Talon costume. It had Blue and gold on it and I was wearing a gold helmet..."I am Kid Fate!" I said in a joking tone.

I shook the image out of my head and took a breath. I must finish the mission... kill the mini league! I rush up to the mountain careful to slip past the security systems and bypass other security alarms. I now stand in a huge room with access to the ocean. Where are they? I whip around when I hear an arrow come my way. I quickly grab my sword and slice it in half, then I grab a throwing knife and tossed it at my attacker. It was a girl in a green outfit. The knife hit her shoulder and she dropped to the floor screaming in pain. So much for a sneak attack... I slash my sword in one direction and it cut some guy in a yellow suit. Then I race to take out another one and find a boy younger than me, he stood in a fighting stance. I put my sword away and lunge at him, I hit him in the stomach and then flip him over my shoulder. I grab a knife and stab his leg making him wince. He's good... I fly backwards when I am hit with some water. I grab another knife and I hit my target in his shoulder. I sense the presence of a Martian and I grab a grenade throwing it into the air. The blast spread and I saw a green figure fall to the ground. I feel arms wrap around me and someone lifted me up off my feet." Let me go!!!" I yell kicking the person in the shin. I stand back to see a redheaded boy in a yellow suit, and I grab my sword." You will die in honor..." I say lifting it up.

I scream as a boy with a black S T-shirt knocked me into a wall. I struggle to get up and I spit out some blood that had built up inside my mouth. I then feel a hand around my throat and my mask was ripped off my head making my hair fly everywhere. The mini leaguers all gasped and I cocked my head." Don't touch me!" I yell kicking the boy who didn't seem to be fazed. I growl and my eyes glow yellow. I fly up into the air and I make magical spikes appear, I am about to throw them when the Martian mind blasts me making me slam into a wall. I fall to the ground and groan. I try to get up but the boy in the yellow suit pushes me against a wall, he looks at me and I scoff." What!?" I say rudely making him flinch. The team appeared to be in a mental conversation... their mistake. I slip my arms free and punch the redhead making his fall on the floor with a thud. I try to run but the Martian lifts me up with her mind and I start to feel sleepy. I feel my limbs fall limp and I close my eyes... what is going on???
