I look over to see Flash standing there looking shocked. I clear my voice and talk quiet." Um... there was a legend that said that I was supposed to find a helmet. Apparently it was-is a sacred family heirloom and I spent years looking for it but I gave up a couple of months ago. Legend said that I would only gain my full powers y putting on the helmet, I did and it did this..." I said standing up and gesturing towards my outfit. Flash stood there, processing this new information.

"Well I think we should have Zatara take a look and maybe he can come up with an answer... let's go." Flash said gesturing for Kid Flash to pick me up again.

"Don't-" I was cut off by him picking me up and speeding off. We appeared at the mountain, we were in a med bay. I saw a man standing in the center of the room with a top hat and a magician's outfit. Not to mention a funny mustache! I wave slightly and we both sit down on a bed." Flash, if you excuse us..." He said and the two speedstera were gone in a flash." Now I need to look into your mind, but with the helmet on..." He said to me and I hesitantly put on the golden helmet.

"Please be careful... my mind is dangerous." I say hugging myself. He nods and places a hand on my head/the helmet. I could feel memories coming back to me...

I was numb and I knew there was a bag over my head. Just then the bag flew off my head and I was blinded by bright lights. When my eyes adjusted I saw that I was in a elegant, very expensive room. There were three people in front of me. One of them wore a white suit and an owl mask. The second one word a less expensive, dark blue suit and the same owl mask. The third one made my blood run cold, he had on an owl themed mask but it was very sharp and he had swords on his back and claw gloves.

"Welcome Nicole, to the Court of Owls."

"Stop!!!" I yell jumping off the bed. I was breathing hard and I yanked off the helmet so I could breath easier. I hunched over and rubbed my forehead." I just n-need a break..." I say standing there.

"Of course. I will be in the hall waiting for when you want to continue." He said leaving the room, but he didn't shut the door all the way so I could hear their conversation...

"How did it go?"
"Fine, she is Dr Fate's daughter but she made me stop before I could find out why she wasn't raised with him. I think she was seeing some of her old memories, memories that she does not want to whiteness again..."
"What do you mean? Is she a good guy? Can we trust her?"
"Yes she is a good guy and we can most definitely trust her. But she is much more powerful than she realizes. She is even stronger than me..."
"What do we do?"
"Make sure she doesn't get into trouble. Let her join the team and when she's ready...we'll try again."

I stoped listening cause Zatara had come back into the room." We will continue another day. Until then, what do you think about joining the team?" He asked kindly, of course I know it is just an act. But I'll play along... if it helps me figure out who I am.

"I guess I could join the team..." I said. He smiled and motioned for me to follow him. I do, but on the way out I catch a glimpse of my reflection in a mirror. I was very pale, I looked like I had just seen a ghost! I calm down and follow him out of the room and back to where the teenage team was waiting.

At least I get to work with Kid Flash... wait! What am I saying... He is annoying!!! Isn't he?
