Danny shot an ecto plasm blast at Skulker, who like always wanted to hang his pelt on his wall. "I, Skulker the best ghost hunter of the Ghost Zone, will come back again for you whelp!", he said as he got sucked into the Fenton Thermos. "Not today, Skulker.", Danny said victoriously and smiled. But his smile faded when he felt the pain. "Must go to... the Portal.", he said to himself and flew with the Thermos and Skulker in it towards the Ghost Portal. But not in Amity Park. He went to the man who reached him everything after his family and friends died by an accident.

"Daniel, what happened?", a man with a white ponytail asked. He wore a black suit. "Skulker.", Danny said before he went unconscious. Vlad immediately rushed towards the falling boy and caught him. He brought him to his room and laid him there. He took the Thermos off of his hands and released Skulker into the ghost zone. He rushed towards his son.

"Maybe he only had a bad day.", a voice said to him and Vlad turned around only to face a middle aged ghost in a blue cloak. "Apologizes Mr. Plasmius. I'm Clockwork, Master of time.", he introduced himself. "Clockwork, so you're the one who helped Danny. But what do you mean by 'he had only a bad day'?", Vlad asked and sit on the chair in the room. Clockwork turned from the middle aged ghost to a toddler. "He didn't only fought Skulker today. He fought more than 2 ghost per hour. He's really exhausted and he needs you.", Clockwork explained and turned around to face the child. "He really wants to change the time to save his family and friends.", Clockwork continued. "But he also needs you.", Clockwork said and pointed to Vlad. Vlad listened to him and nodded to show that he understood him.

"But clockwork, how did this happened?", he asked finally. Clockwork, who turned a while ago to an old ghost, was scratching his chin. "What you want to know, is Danny the only one to answer you.", clockwork said slowly. "I should go, the observants are waiting for me...", Clockwork turned around. "But promise me, to keep him save. I... just want him to be save.", clockwork continued and disappeared.

Vlad still stared to the place where a few minutes ago Clockwork stood, before Vlad  was brought back to reality by a quiet yawn. He looked to his left and sah the boy waking up. "D...Dad.", Danny said quietly. "It's not your Dad, Danny. It's me Vlad.", the older hybrid answered and helped him to sit. "Vlad! What happened?", he asked and rubbed his head. He felt the pain trough his whole body and fainted again. "Danny, I will come back with a first-aid Kit.", Vlad said and rushed out.

Danny, who got stitched up, was now sitting on his bad. His phone in his hands and watching videos and pictures of his family and friends. "Why did it happened?", Danny cried. He was now looking on a selfie of him, Sam and Tucker. They were in Nasty Burger on his birthday. He could remember everything what happened on this day.

Vlad was sitting in his office and was thinking about what he might should do for Danny. He couldn't see him in this situation. He hold letters in his hands and searched for his adoption papers. Finding it, he looked at the date. August 24, 2007. It was now one year ago since he adopted him and still he missed them. Vlad blamed him. "How, how could I be so stupid? Jack didn't want to hurt me on purpose. He even gave me a home after I got electrocuted by the portal back in collage.", he said to himself and laid his head on his hands. He couldn't understand why he was obsessed with Maddie. She was only a regular, pretty and smart girl. He should be happy for his best friend, he thought and tears began to roll down his face. Since collage he didn't have a family. His only family back then was Jack.

Knocking on the office door, Danny entered the room. "Vlad, I... I want to go to the... grave.", Danny said quietly, looking down to his feets. Vlad nodded and stood up, taking his jacket and the two went outside. It was raining outside and the sun didn't shine, wind was blowing on their faces but they didn't care. They went into a flower shop and bought different colored flowers. Vlad hugged Danny before they entered the graveyard.

"I brought black roses for you, Sam. I know you like black roses.", Danny said quietly, standing in front of Sam's grave. A tear rolled down his cheek and landed on the grave. "I Love you.", he whispered slowly and placed the roses down. He went to the next grave. Tucker's grave. He laid yellow roses down. "You were... are still my best bud and I wouldn't change it for the world, Tucker.", he said and smiled a bit. He then turned to his sister's grave. "Hey Jazz, I... I wanted to say thank you for everything in my whole life. You always cared for me when mom and dad didn't. You... I was naive to not seeing it before. But I brought you your favorite flowers. In Blue. I know it's your favorite color and I... I hope your happy.", Danny said and cried again. He laid down the colored roses. He went to his parents grave and laid down the roses too. "You two always told me to be myself. And... I will always appreciate it. Mom, during the last three years, you were there for me. You cared about me. Sometimes, however, you also have exaggerated. But it was, is okay. You was trying Tonne there for me, even if I couldn't do something with you because of my ghost half. When I finally revealed myself, yo wasn't mad. You still accepted me and treated me like ever. I love you so much mom.", he said and tears streamed down his face. "Dad, you were always... you were always the funny one in our family. You... you always wanted me and Jazz to be happy. Even if your devices and gadgets weren't perfectly fine, but that's were you. Like I said to mom, even after I revealed myself you were there for me. You weren't mad or wanted to tear my 'molecule by molecule'. You were... are the greatest dad I ever had... have.", he said. "Now... now you're all gone and I'm a... alone. I... I miss y... you all s... so much.", he said and fell to his knees crying. Vlad rushed to him and supported him by hugging him tight. "Pshh little badger, everything will be fine. You're... you're not alone. I will always be by your side. And your family will always be by your side.", he said and they two stood up and made their way home.
