epilogue

"I now pronounce you husband and wife," declared the priest. "You may now kiss the bride."

Kyungmin and Taehyung both faced each other. He lifted her veil, revealing her scrunched up face, finding this rather awkward. The total opposite of Taehyung who had a wide grin, eyes squinted. Still, this did not prevent Taehyung from thinking of how beautiful his wife was.

Taehyung inched his face closer, stopping midway as their noses touched. He cupped her cheeks and brushed his nose left and right with Kyungmin's.

"I'm not gonna kiss you until you smile." Taehyung stretched both ends of Kyungmin's lips, causing her forehead to crease.

Well, Kyungmin did not like how they were taking too long over a simple kiss, when in fact, it was not like this was the first. So she smiled widely, complying with Taehyung.

"That smile looks forced."

Unlike everyone who couldn't hear their murmurs, the priest had clearly heard their conversation, making him smile at the two. The couple had personally requested him, since during their seminars before the wedding, he was usually the one guiding the two.

"Just kiss already and save your moment for later!" a voice shouted, Hoseok. This earned a couple of laughs from the crowd.

Gosh, this is so embarrassing, thought Kyungmin, slowly sliding her eyes to the ground.

"So?" Taehyung slyly asked.

"Gosh, Taehyung just kiss me already," Kyungmin bluntly said, finding this rather nerve wrecking. "I can't believe we're having an argument over this."

And so Taehyung did, and everyone clapped their hands for the two. Taehyung pulled his wife into a tight hug as they faced their guests, feeling so proud.

Meanwhile, their one year old daughter, with a baby blue flower crown on her head, took baby steps towards the staircase of the altar with Minsun to support her. When Taehyung saw them, he briefly told Kyungmin and went down to carry his daughter with him to the altar.

"Mommy, daddy, happy!" Aeri babbled bubbly (which the two understood), whilst clapping her hands.

Kyungmin could not help but feel a tear on the side of her eye. She looked up to blink it away and turned back to her daughter with a very pleased smile.

Surprisingly, the picture taking process did not take long and after that came the reception.

Classic music softly played in the background, everyone seated on their tables, eager to listen to speeches by selected people.

It was Jimin's turn to share his thoughts.

"I remember this specific day when we were in high school," began Jimin, throwing a knowing look at Kyungmin.

She suppressed her gasp when she figured what Jimin meant and shot Jimin a that's-our-secret kind of look through the slits of her eyes.

Jimin just shrugged nonchalantly at her whilst smiling and cleared his throat.

"I just got back to the room and found them together. I think they were having an argument," explained Jimin. "The moment I slid the door open, Kyungmin said we were going to walk home together and Taehyung asked me if that were true." Jimin let out a playful frustrated groan, keeping his charming smile.

"Kyungmin sent me taunting look. And we all know that time how quirky Kyungmin could be, I could only nod my head."

Taehyung leaned on the table, listening closely to Jimin. On the other hand, Kyungmin wanted to disappear at that moment.

"So when I did, Kyungmin said, 'see?' and she tilted her head with a carefree smile."

Kyungmin cringed at how Jimin tried to mimic her.

"We didn't even have plans that day. They continued to bicker and all I was thinking about was how to get away from there. Not to mention, Taehyung kept throwing daggers at me. Aish, I don't know what was wrong with these two back then." Jimin laughed, and so did the others.

"It was so obvious that Kyungmin was jealous—"

"I am not!" defended Kyungmin in a soft shout.

"Yes you are!" Hoseok shot back louder, earning snickers from the crowd. Then he turned to the people in his table. "Geez, this girl already married to the guy but still denying it. Hardheaded as ever."

Kyungmin could only place a palm on her forehead.

"And it was evident that Taehyung just thought she loved Kyungmin as a sister when he loved her more than that."

When Jimin turned to Taehyung and everyone wanted to know his reaction as well, Taehyung only nodded to confirm it.

"And Kyungmin, I'm sorry for breaking my promise, but I just want to visit you guys in peace without Taehyung having to bore a drill on my head," joked Jimin. "Well, come to think of it, I don't remember specifically making a promise."

By this time, Kyungmin already had her head buried in her palms and Taehyung kept removing them and urged her to listen to Jimin. Everyone could see them and they could not help but be amazed at how childish the two could be.

"Man, your wife never liked me," admitted Jimin. "If anything, she kept on involving me with her antics. You all have no idea how Kyungmin was back then."

Taehyung pulled Kyungmin into a hug, patting her head to comfort her from her embarrassment which only made it worse, and Kyungmin wanted to squirm out of it.

"I know you've always liked me back then too, it's okay," cooed Taehyung although it was a joke since they both knew that they had realized it later than they should have.

If Kyungmin thought Jimin had exposed her already, she thought wrong. Hoseok was there to elaborate.

Hoseok went on about the time Kyungmin locked both classroom doors on the inside and the teacher had to call the janitor—who then was on his break—for the keys. She did that to buy more time because she had to finish her homework in Biology. And this one time when Kyungmin deadass threw her classmate's homework on the trash bin just before the subject it should have been passed, just because she was so annoyed with her classmate's bitchy attitude.

It took Kyungmin a moment to recover from the embarrassment before she could entertain the guests. In all honesty, she was grateful for everything, but with that, she wanted to hurl herself under her covers already.

Kyungmin and Taehyung moved to the next table where their close friends they treated as family sat. As they approached them, Kyungmin could not help but smile at the sight.

Hoseok and Jimin were talking with the kids, Aeri and Minsun. Somi and Mrs. Kim having their own conversation.

Mr. Kim had sent his blessings but he couldn't make it due to his work.

Then there was Nari who seemed to be enjoying herself as she pestered Jungkook who had an awkward smile on his face. As expected, Minji kept on telling Nari that the boy was feeling uncomfortable already, but Nari insisted that Jungkook was fine.

The newly weds had also invited their workmates and all of them were happy for Taehyung and Kyungmin as well.

On another table sat another set of important people to their lives: Kim Namjoon who lent his hand to the couple with legal and moral support as much as he could. Doctor Seokjin who had always been there for Kyungmin and Aeri, also standing as her parent most times. The couple had also invited Mr. Min who facilitated their civil wedding.

In the midst of their small talk, Aeri appeared just beside Mr. Min and stared at him with eyes wide open as if she had seen something amazing. She placed her soft palms on his thigh and Aeri turned to her mother with the same expression, then back at Mr. Min.

"Hello there," Mr. Min greeted the child warmly with his gummy smile and Aeri turned away and walked back to Kyungmin, hiding her face on her mother's dress.

Kyungmin remembered a sight similar to this and chuckled together with the other men on the table. Taehyung crouched down to scoop Aeri on his arm.

"Yah, Kyungmin-ah!" called Doctor Seokjin, making Kyungmin snap her head to him.

"I'm expecting a baby from the two of you. Don't fail me."

As everyone else on the table hid their snickers, Kyungmin's chest heaved up whilst she turned herself to the side with gritted teeth. It wasn't like she hadn't been thinking about it.

In all honesty, she had admitted to herself that she wanted to have kids with Taehyung.

But she definitely had enough of it that people needed to stop putting it out in the open.

"I want twins!" Hoseok suddenly appeared, behind him were everyone else on the other table, ready to dance to the celebration as it was about to come to an end.

"Just one more granddaughter and a grandson is enough for me," said Mrs. Kim with a sweet tone.

"I like to see dozens of little Kyungmin and Taehyung!" Nari added so naturally that everyone else shook their heads with laughter.

While most of them were so busy with their own suggestions, Kyungmin could only whine to herself.

Shiteu, could the ground swallow me right now?
