Y/n's P.O.V.
Sighing as I stretch my arms up high in the air, I hear the satisfaction of them popping. Standing up from my chair, I twisted and turned, listening to my back bones popping as well. I hopped that they weren't loud enough for Wilbur to hear, though. He has been letting me stay with him in his Hot Dog van, and since there isn't enough room I sleep on the floor or the non-functional drivers sear.
I opened the door of the van and slowly glanced around, shivering slightly in my pajamas before sighing and deciding to start with the back wall today.
Walking over to the back wall, I climbed up the ladder, huffing and puffing to myself as I finally reached the top. It was narrow enough to have a flag pole and a chest for the flag. I opened the chest and unfolded the fabric neatly, before taking the prongs on the pole and clipping them onto the flags holes. Lifting it up higher and higher until it shown across the SMP, I realized how much arm strength this stuff really needed.
Groggily, I walked to the other side of the wall, trying not to fall or topple over the steep edge. Doing the same to the main flag was a little more extinguishing since the fabric was heavier. Once the flag was high enough in the air I checked the time with the moon. 4am. Perfect, was my only thought as I jumped down and off the wall.
I started to walk up the stairs leading out of the walls of L'manburg, glancing back at it every now and then before turning my focus back to walking to Tommy's house. He had all my clothes since Wilbur didn't have any room for both his and mine in his van.
The reason I had woken up so early was so I could avoid conflict or any ambush from the Dream Team or anyone else against us on this SMP.
Placing my hand on the door frame, I peak into Tommy's music room before seeing him sleeping soundly. I smile at this before trotting to his side room full of chests. Looking for the one labeled with my name, I pulled out my L'manburg uniform. I swiftly changed there, throwing my pajamas into the chest labeled 'DIRTY!!'.
And with the last and final touch, I threw on my jacket before stepping out into the brisk wind of the night. I walked down the steep steps and tried not to fall or tumble from the random holes in them.
L'manburg owns a few little shops, although useless, and need the flag hung up around them too, so it was also my duty to get those. Sadly.
I walked into one of the shops and saw the flag chest on the side. I sighed and plopped down onto the cold ass stone floor. Sitting up on my knees, I opened the chest and rumaged through it, the boys always threw things they didn't want in here since this shopped was hella useless. I sighed in annoyance, where was that stupid thing?
"Looking for this?" I rested my eyes, knowing that voice as I looked up at Sapnap, my hat slowly sliding off my head and to the ground. I closed the chest slowly and stood up in front of him, crossing my arms and tapping my foot at him. He held the flag with a big smirk.
"Actually, yes I was. Now that you've found it you can now give it to-!"
"No, I don't think I will." I was slightly taken aback by his answer, he was usually one to always listen at first command or ask. I shook my head in annoyance.
"What? Why?" He chuckled, letting his head fall slightly as he looked at the person behind me. Turning swiftly I see Dream holding my hat up in the air and using his height to his advantage. I wasn't even going to try and embarrass myself by trying to jump and get that.
"Awe, c'mon, aren't you going to come and get it?" Dream chuckled out. I shook my head before kicking Dream in the knees, making him drop my hat by my feet and yelping. I take the hat and put it on my head before turning to Sapnap, signaling it was his turn to get the punishment of having his knees taken away. He nervously laughed before running out of the building, bearing our flag.
"WH- HEY!" I shouted out towards him, running after him. I skidded to a stop as I realized he was to far ahead and I just might have to get backup. Scoffing I turned on my heals and ran towards Tommy's house. I walked over to him urgently before shaking him a little harshly. He groaned and rubbed his eyes before looking at me in annoyance.
"What is it now...?" He sat up and I narrowed my eys. "They took the flag again, yes?" I nod and he simply groaned, falling back onto the bed and facing the other way. "Can't Wilbur or Tubbo or, hell even Fundy deal with this shit this time? I'm to tired to go running around with you after some bozo's who can't learn to respect a country. After a while that shit gets tiring." I straightened up. So, that's how he felt? Realizing what he said he spun over and looked at me, wide eyed.
"I see..." I mumbled before standing up and walking out of his music room. He fell off the bed with a loud thud before he shouted out.
"I DIDN'T MEAN IT Y/N!"
The sound of leaves softly crunching underneath my boots was the only thing heard as I walked the path to Fundy's 'Not so Secret Base'. Once I had arrived, I searched for the button for a while before finding it and pressing it. Swiftly I slid into his base, cobwebs everywhere with dust. I shook my head and doged through them, finding where Fundy slept. Finding it, I opened it and was greeted by his face right there at the edge of the bed.
Rolling my eyes, I gave him a little flick, waking him up. He yawned and groaned, rubbing his tired eyes as his ears leaned upwards as he stretched himself out. Opening those said eyes, he saw me standing above him. He jumped slightly back into his bed, before relaxing at the sight of it just being me. Slowly, he stepped out and stood in front of me, bending over slightly.
"Hm... What's it this time, hm?" He asked, rubbing his eyes from fatigue. His tail swayed in a steady pattern as his ears flicked to any and every unconventional sound that was to be heard.
"Sapnap stole the L'manburg flag again and Tommy doesn't want to help." Fundy's ears instantly perked up once he heard my voice speaking to him. He smiled at me, now have woken up more before his ears dropped again as he processed my sentence.
"Oh, really?" I nodded as he soon gave me a look of annoyance, groaning and throwing his face into his hand. "God dammit, not this bullshit again. It's like an endless game of cat and mouse where the mouse always wins while the cat retreats. Just, give me a moment to change ok? I'll be out in a few." I nod and walked up the cobblestone slabs again, walking out of his base swiftly.
As I waited, I watched the moon dip into the horizon and the sun replace it. I picked at the grass blades as I waited silently, wondering what the others where doing with the flag. I wanted to go now, but that would be rude to invite someone and leave without them. I'd never do that to Fundy anyways.
Speaking of, he walked out of his base and adjusted his hat on his 'crayon' uniform Wilbur liked to call it. He saw me and waved at me, his long fingernails standing out as they where painted a nice black.
Smiling, I hopped off the hill and walked along side him to go find Sapnap who still had our flag. Just from the morning air brushing against my hair and through Fundy's tail, I could tell this was going to be an eventful day. A good kind of eventful? A bad kind of eventful? I'm not sure, there are things the wind wishes to keep hidden from those who don't know how to speak to it properly.
