(Reader's P.O.V.)

    I'm not sure when I fell asleep but when I woke up things seemed very odd. I'm standing in front of a huge tree with no idea how I got there. Is this one of Infinite's illusions? "Ah, I was wondering when you'd show up. Your name is (Y/N), correct?" Sitting on top of a branch was a mobian cat with black fur and bright green eyes. "Who are you? Have we met before?" "Me? No... Well... Yes and no... I am a face you've seen maybe once but we've likely never met. But introductions are unimportant here. What matters right now is where to go from here." "I don't exactly see any paths. Where exactly do you suggest I go?" He smiles and looks down at me. "Up." "Up? How exactly am I supposed to do that? I can't fly and my zip wire was taken from me." He laughs at me. What's so funny? "My, you haven't figured it out have you? You're upside down my dear. If you want to leave this place you have to go up." He hangs upside down and points at a large hole at the bottom of the tree. "You mean that bottomless pit?" He laughs again. "Not bottomless my dear. But it is the exit. Well, that is until reality comes for you." What the heck does that mean? I walk closer to the large hole. It really looks bottomless. I feel a shove from behind. "Sorry dear, but it looked like you could use a push." I fall into the hole.

(Infinite's P.O.V.)

    I pace back and forth, half irritated. The Phantom Ruby's behavior is odd and erratic. Every now and then I hear its ramblings, which border on madness. Half of what it says makes sense but the other half is utter nonsense. It's become obsessed since our first encounter with her. "Let her live," it said. Just when I was thinking of crushing her right then and there, it asked me to let her live. Why? Does it see something I don't? "You'll end up with a road if you keep that up." "I don't need you telling me that. You finished with your fit of madness then?" "It isn't madness. She is a rare creature. Someone who can break our illusions. Someone who hasn't broken from fear amid the chaos we create. She is unique." "And I'd say your obsession is maddening. She is just another ant to be crushed." It laughs, "And I'd watch your tongue, Infinite. Your words can be used against yourself as they can be used against others."

(Reader's P.O.V.)

    How long have I been falling? I think I just passed a piano. And a bookshelf. And a coffee table. What the heck? What kinda person drops this kind of stuff into a bottomless pit? Is that the floor up ahead? I crash through and end up on a ceiling before falling again. "Ow! What the heck!" "Oh, miss are you okay?" Sonic? I look up to see Sonic wearing a red tailcoat. "I'm fine but, what are you doing here Sonic?" "Sonic? Who's that? My name is Usagio. Are you sure you're okay miss?" Huh? "Umm... actually maybe I'm not okay..." "I'm sorry to hear that miss. Oh, shoot! I'm late! I'm sorry miss but I'm afraid I have to go. Goodbye." "Huh? Hey! WAIT!" He rushes down the hallway and I chase after him. By the time I catch up, Sonic, or Usagio, has shrunken down and exited through a small door. What the heck is going on?
