I check on the prisoner to find her fast asleep. It seems she's taken my advice. "Actually that's incorrect." "What do you mean?" "She's asleep because of me. I wanted to make sure she had a fair chance." "Who's side are you on? Mine or her's?" "Your's. But I still think she deserves a fair chance. What good would she be to us if she can't even think properly? I'm only doing this for us. I think she could be useful. It would be wise if you didn't disagree with me. Unless you don't want my power." "And where would you find a better vessel than me?" "Try the cage," it laughs. Is it suggesting that girl is more worthy than me? "Are you trying to call me weak?" "Not at all... I am simply saying not to test my patience, Infinite. Or should I say, Zero."

(Reader's P.O.V.)

How the heck did he get so small? There is no way I'm going to fit through that door like this. "May I suggest the bottle on the table." I turn around to find the cat from before sitting on top of the table. Next to him was a small bottle with a label that said 'drink me'. "Umm, are you sure that's a good idea?" "Of course it is. How else would you fit through that door? You're much too big." I pick up the bottle and examine it. I'm not sure I trust this. "Oh, you might want to take this with you. That door might be locked. Wouldn't want you to be too small to grab this key." He places it in my hand and vanishes. I'm starting to wonder if any of this is real. Well, dream or not, I'm not exactly going to get anywhere doing nothing. I pop the cork off the tiny bottle and stick the key in my back pocket. "Well, bottoms up I guess." I take a sip of the bottle's contents, which makes me cough from the taste. Suddenly my body begins to shrink. This continues until I'm small enough to fit through the door. I try to open it when I remember that cat said it was locked. I pull the key from my back pocket. Is it just me or does that key look bigger? I unlock the door and enter when I really start to question what's going on. I walk into a forest of flowers who don't exactly have nice things to say to me. I ignore their words to the best of my ability as I walk through. Finally, I catch up to Sonic, or Usagio. "Was it this way or this way? Oh man, I'm so late." "Umm... when did you get so big?" "Huh? Oh my, you look a little bit too small. I'm sorry... I'd love to help but I'm late for a very important trial. Goodbye." He runs off again. Well, there goes my only source of answers. I guess I'll just start wandering aimlessly. "Or my dear, (Y/N). You could try following the path to the left. You're awfully late for your party." The cat sits on top of the signpost, which is ten feet above me at my current size. "What party?" "Well, you'll never know if you never show up for it." I sigh, there's no point in trying to gather info from this guy. I guess I'll go left. Following the path, I hear the strangest music. Someone singing an odd tune I've never heard before. As I enter the gate I find the source of the tune. I see commander Knuckles in a gray trench coat holding half a teacup. Next to him was Amy who had a teacup sitting on her head. At the end of the large table full of tea supplies, I see a twin-tailed fox wearing a green top hat with a note that says '10/6' on it. Not sure what that note means but something tells me it's better not to ask. "Late to your own party shame on you. As you can see March, Teacup, and I have been waiting very patiently for you. Although I did expect you to be taller. Wasn't he taller March?" I watch Knuckles toss his cup as some form of response. Amy laughs as it crashes onto the ground. "I'm actually a she you know. Also, I used to be bigger until I drank that awful potion." "Hmm? Oh, I see now. Well, now that's an easy fix. You just need to have a little cake but not too much. If you eat too much you might not fit through the front gate." He laughs and the others laugh with him. Just what the heck is with this place?! The fox in the hat picks me up and places me on the table. A small cake is placed in front of me. "One bite should be enough. Although it might be hard to stop eating once you start. Those cakes are absolutely delicious." He smiles as he returns to his seat. Is it just me or is everyone in this place crazy? I take one bite of the cake like the fox said and I start to return to my normal size. He was right about it being delicious. If he didn't warn me about the size altering, I might've tried to eat the whole cake. "Feeling better now?" "Umm... Yeah, I guess... Although I'm still very confused." "Well, you won't have to worry about that for long. Might want to hold your breath." Hold my breath? Why would I hold my breath? Suddenly I get doused in water. I guess now I know what he meant by that...
