All Howzer knows is war.

The Clone Wars has just come to an end, though, so he has his chance to enjoy life. Cham Syndulla has been telling him that it's time for him to live the life he wants to live.

And he tries to, but it's so hard. He doesn't know how to just... enjoy himself. He's been told he's too uptight and serious for that.

Before he can take his chance to really live, the Empire declares their ruling of the galaxy. Suddenly, Howzer is part of the Empire and is swept back into a war.

This time, he's pretty sure he's not the good guy. How could he be the hero if he was stopping people from speaking their mind? How could he be the good one if he was helping oppress people who had worked so hard for freedom?

He was never trained for this.

Rebellions spring up around Ryloth and he keeps running into a woman that makes him question what he's doing.

Doubt is creeping into his mind, along with a woman whose smile he can't erase from his memories.
