Chapter 14: Missing You
Michael was back at their house. He still disliked the twins after their apology- well, Kaoru's apology- but he thought that it would be better to 'befriend' them again.
He sighed as he sat down on the edge of his bed. He rarely even lay down on it now ever since Michelle was taken from him. He missed her curly golden hair and mischievous, vibrant, blue eyes that seems to shine each time they look at him. He missed her so much.
He thought about how much the Hitachiin twins saw. It annoyed him how he had been defenseless the night before and how he has lost his consciousness, ending up in the Hitachiin mansion. But one thing was certain. The fallen angel, Castizel, has his friends.
Sebastian's being a jerk recently, Michael thought. Sebastian had been adding too much sugar on his tea and even making food he does not eat. All of it was a part of a small rebellion Sebastian had been doing due to the glee of one day finally eating Ciel's soul. The thought of Sebastian's plans disgusted him more.
He curled up under the sheets of his bed. It might seem weird and even embarrassing to admit, but Michael was reminded of Michelle's presence by her scent. She smell of roses and cinnamon. The smell lingered in the dark black sheets of his almost unused bed, and he refused to change it's covers. The door opened.
"My lord, you have a guest," Sebastian said, poking his head into the room. Michael sighed and sat up.
"Who is it?" He asked.
"The Host Club, my lord."
"Make them come here."
Sebastian nodded and left. Michael laid down again for a good few minutes. Then he stood up and sat on the chair of his study table where he pretended to be doing paperwork.
A while later, the Host Club came in. They walked in slowly as if anticipating a non-existential something to attack them. Realizing there is nothing, they walked in normally but looked around like children in a museum.
Michael just watched them, almost wanting to laugh. They all seemed fascinated with everything in their room which was amusing, but there were matters to be discussed. They did not know even a single thing about Michelle's situation right now, so why are they even gonna visit?
Michael cleared his throat. "What brings you here?"
They all stood like idiots in the middle of the room. Kyoya pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose.
"Tamaki was wondering if you, Michelle, Ciel and Alois would like to join us in-"
"No. Thank you for offering but no." Michael said flatly, turning back to his paperwork. It does not even make sense. They are trying to be friends with them. He will just have to lie. "Besides, Ciel and Alois are at England. Michelle has her business to worry about. And how did our Uncle even allow you inside?"
"I'm kind of friends with your uncle," Tamaki said, scratching the back of his head nervously. I sighed and placed a finish document to the side.
"Now if you have no other business, could you please leave? I do not even have that much time," Michael said not turning his head away from his paperwork which does not even make sense now.
"Oh well, we better get going!" Tamaki laughed tightly and sped away, leaving the rest of the Host Club.
"Tama-chan!" Honey cried and followed him. The rest walked out, except for Haruhi.
"Kira-"
"Michael," he corrected.
"Michael," Haruhi started again. "If you need any help, we're here. You could just tell us if there's something wrong."
Michael stayed silent for a few seconds. "Will do."
The door swung close, signifying Haruhi's leave. Michael sighed again. He really wish that he could go out again and search for them. But this stupid disease that he has prevented him from just that. Sure, he can go look for his twin sister at this state but Sebastian would not allow it. But it's not like Sebastian is his butler, right?
Michael tried to read the paper in front of him. It is either it does not make sense or his brain cannot process much information about anything else except looking for them now. It was probably both. Michael never really paid attention to his paperwork anyway.
And so he sat back down in his bed, falling asleep in the midst of discomfort.
