[M. Osamu] Meeting Up
AU where Osamu's a writer and reader's a fan of him.
~
You squealed loudly as you read the ending of a book, finishing it altogether.
It was 8 PM at that time, and you were reading a book written by M. Osamu. This book was the third series of his book that you've bought, and his style of writing had you fallen in love; at the same time intrigued with the writer himself.
The curiosity itself started two months ago, when you've just finished his first book. The book itself was published a year ago, but you bought it just recently; around two months and a half ago, to be specific.
Since then, you promised to yourself that you're going to buy all of his books—published or upcoming—no matter what.
Regarding the curiosity, you have searched anywhere possible to pick up some information about him, but you only got little to none of it.
That didn't make your curiosity cease, though; especially when you found out that he has a twitter account and it allowed you to chat with the person himself.
Simply put, you wasted no time downloading said application and make an account in order to follow and interact with him.
It took him more or less half an hour to reply—a short one, too—but you didn't mind, not when you screeched and squealed every time you saw a notification that he replied to your messages.
~
"'Samu, there's a new message from your Twitter!" Atsumu called out.
"Again?" Osamu sighed, "I'll just get through it la-"
"Woah, this person sure is interested in you, 'Samu!" Atsumu gasped, scrolling through his twin's chat with you.
An irk mark immediately formed on Osamu's forehead as he walked towards Atsumu to take his phone from his evil twin.
He then rubbed his temples before sighing once again, checking whose chat did Atsumu talk about.
'(Username)'
"Ah, this girl," Osamu commented nonchalantly, eliciting a gasp from Atsumu; in which he got a glare from the former.
"'Tsumu, before you say anything, no. So, shut up."
After he saw your recent message, Osamu then proceeded to type a reply, with Atsumu pestering him to stalk your profile.
After a while, with Osamu having enough of Atsumu's jeers, he complied to his twin brother's request.
He lazily scrolled through your tweets—which most of them consisted of his books' quotes and how much you love the author, making him blush slightly—then to your medias.
And boy, was he and Atsumu shocked when they saw a picture of you.
"Damn, you got a beautiful girl wrapped around your finger, 'Samu," Atsumu commented, whistling. Osamu gave him silence in reply, but he internally agreed.
~
The next day, a notification appeared from Osamu's phone when Atsumu was playing with it, making the latter gasp.
"'Samu! There's a message from the girl yesterday!"
"Oh? Tell me what she said, I'm a bit busy here," replied his twin, typing on his laptop.
"Hmm.. Alright.. 'Osamu-san, good evening! I wanted to ask whether you will hold a meet and greet sometimes? I mean, you have a lot of fans.. That's all, sorry for the bother!'"
Osamu lifted his fingers off his laptop's keyboard, pondering at your message.
"A meet and greet, huh?"
It was silent before he replied with a small smile, "I'll think about it."
~
The week after, you were shocked at the news of Osamu, who would hold a meet and greet.
"Oh my God," you whispered, almost shedding tears, then squealed until your mother decided to walk in.
"Mom! Osamu-san is going to hold a meet and greet!" You informed her, eyes twinkling brightly.
"Really? Where will it be held? I can drive you there," your mother replied, rather amused, but happy for her daughter.
"It's in.." You trailed off, checking your phone before replying, "it's near Inarikazi!"
Your mom smiled and nodded before walking out, saying that she needed to make dinner, also promised to drive you there.
On the other hand, Osamu was on his phone, opening his twitter; scrolling through his notifications—most of them replying on his post about the meet and greet—liking the comments here and there.
"I wonder if she would come," he muttered under his breath, but was loud enough for Atsumu to hear.
The twin brother gasped, faking offense at Osamu's words.
"Are you stupid? She's like, your number one fan! If she doesn't come, I'll sue myself," Atsumu exclaimed, earning a hum from Osamu.
"Deal," Osamu deadpanned, hearing another offensive gasp from his twin.
"Rude, Osamu, Rude."
~
You knew that Osamu has lots of fans, and many of them would come to the meet and greet, but you'd never expected the line to be this long.
After about an hour of waiting, you fidgeted on your place as it was only a little more until your turn. You clutched the bag you've been holding—which was for Osamu and his twin, Atsumu—consisted of homemade puddings, chocolates, and some other sweets.
You were in your own world for quite some time, that you didn't realize the person before you had finished their turn.
You took a deep breath; it's your turn.
You tried your best to control yourself from screaming or all of that; which you, fortunately, managed to do so, as you put on a small smile when you stood in front of your idol; Miya Osamu.
"G-good afternoon, Osamu-san," you greeted softly, cheeks gradually turned pink.
You swore you heard him chuckle.
"I don't know you are this shy in real life, (username)-san," he commented, making your eyes widen.
"Y-you know me?" You covered your mouth with your hand to in embarrassment, this time making Osamu laughed lightly.
"A-anyways!" You said, offering him the bag of sweets you made for Osamu and his twin.
"This is for you and Atsumu-san. I heard he likes chocolates, so I, uh, made it for him too," you explained, and Osamu smiled then thanked you.
He then took a peek inside, and instantly, his smile turned into a smirk.
"I see you have done quite some researches."
His comment made you blush as you frantically fidgeted with your fingers.
"No! Uh, kinda.. I mean! I'm your fan after all," you said softly, but loud enough for Osamu to hear.
The latter laughed once again at your cute behaviour, but after a short while, it gradually died down.
"Well, can't say that I've not stalked you too," he glanced at you before continuing, "I've seen your pictures that you posted on your twitter, that's why I know you. But I never expected that you would look even more beautiful in person," he explained, and you felt like passing out due to overheat.
"Uhm, can I take a picture with you?" You asked sheepishly, choosing not to reply to Osamu's compliment—you might literally faint if you do—and to change the topic. The latter hummed before nodded.
After taking a picture together, Osamu held your right hand, then kissed the tip of your fingers lightly, smiling like a prince.
"Thank you for coming, but I'm afraid that your time is up now. I'm looking forward to our next meeting, though. Until next time, (username),
Or should I say, (L/n) (F/n)—my soon to be muse."
