Piano and Hosting
After lunch the classes pass until finally it was the class with only Tamaki and I. Piano. Tamaki sits down in his seat and leaves the seat beside him for me. I take it as the class begins.
"So, we have a new edition to our class," the teacher says. "My name is Mr. Hatsune. Would you like to introduce yourself?"
Of course I've introduced myself in every class. "I would be honored!" I cheer. "I am Takara Kin aka the Victoria's Secret runway model aka The Angel."
"Well, with new students we always like you to introduce yourself through the piano. We all would love to hear you play a piece for us, Miss Kin."
(He thinks I'm not good enough to be here. Huh, I'll show him.) "May I ask for Tamaki to assist me?"
"It'd be my pleasure!" Tamaki exclaims, standing in pride.
"If you want," Mr. Hatsune says.
"Circus Galop," I whisper into Tamaki's ear.
Tamaki and I walk up to the front two pianos and each sit at one.
"You may begin."
"Let me warm up real quick," I say, testing out some notes and playing a simple tune.
"Wow, very good," Mr. Hatsune teases.
I smirk and make eye contact with Tamaki. "You ready?"
"Yep," he replies, popping the 'p.'

(Like holy crap! I did look up other videos and did find a kid play this, not all of it but a minute, so it's possible. I don't even want to try.)
We rapidly move across the keys and fall into perfect sync with each other like I knew we would. He takes the top half, and I take the lower. We finish off on the simple few notes and sigh in relief. I turn towards everyone and they look at me with complete and utter shock. I smile giddily.
"Was it good?" I ask.
"Holy..." the teacher says and sits down in his chair. "That was... A-amazing! Where did you ever learn to play like that?!"
"Tamaki and I had a really good teacher," I say, thinking of mother.
"She must be amazing!" the students yell.
"She sure is," Tamaki says.
"What more do I even have to teach you?!" Mr. Hatsune fusses. "You're already out of my league both of you are."
"Free period?" I suggest.
"Well, I can't do that..." Mr. Hatsune says. "You'll have to participate in certain things, but... I guess you can say that you can have a free period."
"Does that mean we can leave class and go to our club room or something?" Tamaki asks.
"No, but you can work on anything as long as it's in this classroom and doesn't disrupt the class."
"Sweet!" I cheer. "Maki-chan! Let's play with Ichy and Momo!" I reach around to my hoodie and grab them out, placing them in my lap.
"Good idea," he says and we spend the rest of class playing with my little hedgies.
~~~
The class finally ends and we head to my brother's club room.
"Maki-chan?"
"Yes?"
"I'm so glad that we're together again. I really missed you, otouto," I sigh.
"I missed you too, nee-san." We continue to the club room with my arm wrapped around his. We enter the music room to find that Kyoya is already there, typing away at his computer. "Kyoya! You're here earlier than me! That never happens."
"My class had class today in the computer lab that's close to the club room," Kyoya flat line says.
"Well, I guess that means you can host me earlier!" I cheer and sit next to him. "Whatcha doing?"
"The budget for the club," he replies.
"How boring..." I say. "At least somebody does it though."
"Takara! Why don't you want to be with me?!" brother complains.
"I've been with you all day."
"You've been with him all day too!"
"Not my last class. I have that with you," I say. "Kyoya needs some of my company."
"No I don't," Kyoya says.
That sends me off to go draw frowny faces on the floor in a corner. The door opens and somebody walks in the room.
"Why's Taka-senpai in the corner?" the twins ask.
"Kyoya made her sad," Tamaki says.
"So she does the emo corner thing too?" Haruhi asks.
"Not another boss..." the twins whine.
"I'm sensitive!" I fuss. "Maki-chan!"
"Sorry!" he huffs and comes over to comfort me.
"You guys really did grow up together!" Honey says.
"Well, we have to open soon," Kyoya says. "Before the girls bust down the doors."
"Let's do it!" I cheer, suddenly happy and determined. "Even if I'm not a host!"
"Yeah!" Tamaki cheers beside me. He wraps me up in his arms and carries me to sit with him in his chair when they welcome the guests inside.
I giggle. "Maki-chan!"
"Let them enter!" brother exclaims once everyone takes their positions.
All the girls enter and they immediately give me jealous glares. I giggle and squeeze my brother tight, giving him a peck on the cheek. I then leap up and skip over to Kyoya's area. Everyone spreads out and gets into their areas.
"Looks like I get all your attention today, Kyoya," I say, looking at the surrounding area to find it empty. "You may be attractive but you're cold to people so they don't request you very much." I take a seat right next to him.
"It lets me do my homework or whatever else I may need to do," Kyoya says, typing something on his computer. "I enjoy having no company."
"Hey, you shouldn't be putting all your attention on that computer of yours," I say, shutting it slowly. "I'm your guest you should be paying attention to me."
"You really like attention, huh?" Kyoya asks.
"Models like attention," I say.
"I've noticed," Kyoya replies.
"Well, what do you do?" I ask. "I've been to many host clubs, but none of them are nearly as formal as this. Usually the guys in a host club never do something else in front of a guest or princess of theirs."
"Well, all my attention is on you now. How may I be of assistance, my lady?" Kyoya asks with a plastered smile on his face.
I take this moment to actually take in his features. What attracts me the most is his eyes so void and emotionless. (What he just said doesn't match what his eyes say. His eyes don't say anything. They don't have any light or emotion in them. Why?) "I'd like it if you'd tell me why your eyes are so void of emotion."
He gives me sideways glance with the same emotionless eyes. He doesn't say anything and instead just stares. He opens his mouth but immediately closes it and turns to look in another direction. "Haruhi, could you bring us some Oolong tea, please?"
"Sure," she says and wheels over a cart full of different teas and assorted tea cups. "Would you like some tea, Taka-senpai?"
"No thank you. I have a strong dislike of any kind of tea. I'd much prefer hot chocolate with whipped cream. If you haven't any then coffee would be nice with lots of sugar and milk," I say.
"I actually think we have some hot chocolate packets in the back. I could go make you some if you like," Haruhi says.
"That'd be wonderful if it isn't too much trouble, Haru-chan!"
"No, trouble at all. We already have hot water for the tea, so all I have to do is pour in the packets."
"Really?! It's that simple! That's extravagant and handy!" I exclaim.
She tentatively smiles and mutters something under her breath. "I'll be right back with your hot chocolate."
"Thank you, dear!"
She walks off to wherever the 'back' is placed in this giant club as I turn back to look at Kyoya, who's back to his typing on his computer. "You could've told me that you didn't like tea."
"You could've answered my question," I retort. "And you could've asked."
"And you could tell me the truth about who you really are."
"Well, aren't you sadistic. I'm Takara Kin, you can look me up. I'm a famous model. Why wouldn't I be who I say I am?"
"You just feel off."
"And so do you," I admit. "You're hiding something."
"And so are you."
"I can see the pain behind your eyes has been there for quite a while. I just wanna be the one to remind you what it is to smile," I say with a cheerful smile before skipping off to my brother's area. "Maki-chan!"
"Mako-chan!" Tamaki squeals and his eyes widen. "Oops... heheh..."
I act like he didn't just give me away and sit in his lap. "I'm having so much fun!"
"That makes me happy, princess."
~Kyoya's POV~
She honestly surprised me when she went into the corner like Tamaki occasionally does. It would confirm that they really did grow up together, but it still doesn't mean anything.
"Looks like I get all your attention today, Kyoya," she says, looking at the surrounding area to find it empty. "You may be attractive but you're cold to people so they don't request you very much." She takes a seat right next to me.
"It lets me do my homework or whatever else I may need to do," I say, typing down the total amount of money suspected to be spent on sweets this week. "I enjoy having no company."
"Hey, you shouldn't be putting all your attention on that computer of yours," she says, shutting it slowly and looking right at me. "I'm your guest you should be paying attention to me."
"You really like attention, huh?" I ask.
"Models like attention," she says.
"I've noticed," I reply.
"Well, what do you do?" she asks. "I've been to many host clubs, but none of them are nearly as formal as this. Usually the guys in a host club never do something else in front of a guest or princess of theirs."
"Well, all my attention is on you now. How may I be of assistance, my lady?" I ask with my well-rehearsed, fake smile on my face. (Not that I really want to.)
She doesn't say anything for awhile and instead stares at me. After a while of observing me, I look away from her to my closed computer, tempted to open it till she says something I would never have expected. "I'd like it if you'd tell me why your eyes are so void of emotion."
I give her a sideways glance with the same emotionless eyes that I've developed to hide my emotions throughout the years. I don't say anything and instead just stare at her with hidden shock. I open my mouth to ask how but immediately close it before I voice my thoughts that should be kept to myself and turn to look in another direction. Haruhi comes into my vision and I use her as the perfect diversion. "Haruhi, could you bring us some Oolong tea, please?" (This just makes me think Takara is hiding something even more...)
"Sure," she says and wheels over. "Would you like some tea, Taka-senpai?"
"No thank you. I have a strong dislike of any kind of tea. I'd much prefer hot chocolate with whipped cream. If you haven't any then coffee would be nice with lots of sugar and milk," Takara says.
I feel my eye twitch in annoyance and luckily nobody saw. Showing my emotions never really happens. (How has she managed to make me show emotions even if no one saw? In under five minutes?!) I open my laptop again and begin my chemistry homework.
"I actually think we have some hot chocolate packets in the back. I could go make you some if you like," Haruhi says.
"That'd be wonderful if it isn't too much trouble, Haru-chan!"
"No, trouble at all. We already have hot water for the tea, so all I have to do is pour in the packets."
"Really?! It's that simple! That's extravagant and handy!" Takara exclaims.
Haruhi tentatively smiles and mutters something under her breath. "I'll be right back with your hot chocolate."
"Thank you, dear!"
She walks off as Takara turns back to look at me. "You could've told me that you didn't like tea," I say.
"You could've answered my question," she retorts. "And you could've asked."
"And you could tell me the truth about who you really are."
"Well, aren't you sadistic. I'm Takara Kin, you can look me up. I'm a famous model. Why wouldn't I be who I say I am?"
"You just feel off."
"And so do you," she admits. "You're hiding something."
"And so are you."
"I can see the pain behind your eyes has been there for quite a while. I just wanna be the one to remind you what it is to smile," she says with a cheerful smile before skipping off to Tamaki's area. "Maki-chan!"
(Why would she want to see me smile? I just showed her one... Does she want to see a real smile where I'm generally happy? Ha, I haven't smiled for many years, and she won't be the one to break me easily. Nobody has so far. Who does she think she is coming in here from nowhere and trying to break me?)
"Mako-chan!" Tamaki squeals, and his eyes widen.
(Mako-chan? What are they hiding? Mako... That very well be her middle name but...) I pull up the student records and pull hers up. (It doesn't show that she has a middle name. What did Tamaki mean by Mako?)
The club hours eventually end and Takara doesn't come back over to me throughout them. We all pack up and leave in our separate limos, besides Haruhi obviously.
