{ Two Years Later }

Running through the corridors, she slid past the corner before making her way to the specific door and opening it with a jerk.

Huffing for air as she tried to catch her breath, she stood at the door while looking at the girl who was sitting on the hospital bed, her own eyes welling up with tears.

The girl who was sitting on the bed and gazing at the bright blue sky outside averted her gaze to the huffing person as a wide smile formed on her lips.

"Unnie!" Eun Bi exclaimed before being engulfed in a tight hug by Eun Byul.

"E-Eun Bi," Eun Byul said, holding onto Eun Bi so tightly as if her own life depended on it. A streak of tears had already started making its way through her right cheek.

Eun Bi who had been doing nothing but smiling up till now at her Unnie's arrival, had gotten her smile faded as she saw her Unnie crying.

Her Unnie was crying because of her. Because she had been in coma for 2 whole years.

In the world but not present, she had just lost two precious years of her youth by silently lying on a bed... unconscious.

As the facts started hitting her like a rain of rocks, her grasp around her Unnie tightened as a lump formed at the back of her throat.

She couldn't hold back anymore as she started crying loudly. Crying so loudly for so long.

It had been almost an hour and half since Eun Byul arrived but the chatter between her and Eun Bi remained as lively as ever with Eun Byul being the one doing most of the talk. The only change in the room was now that they both were sitting on the hospital bed while on the couch in the corner of the room was the frame of a person fast asleep.

The person whom they call their 'Mom'.

She had came in a few minutes after Eun Byul came but her tears were never ending. After crying for almost an hour, she fell asleep. Upon asking her about her mom's weird quick sleep, Eun Byul informed Eun Bi that their mom had actually been paying Eun Bi visit everyday after work for the past two years. And not only her mom, Eun Byul herself, Jungkook and Taehyung have also been coming each and every day without absence.

Hearing upon that, Eun Bi's eyes welled up with tears, her heart in pain but joyous at the same time. But before she would start her 'I'm so thankful to you all' speech that might go on for hours, she asked Eun Byul where Jungkook and Taehyung were.

"They have a fansign today," came Eun Byul's reply.

Tilting her head in confusion, Eun Bi asked her Unnie to elaborate what she had just said upon which Eun Byul started, "Jungkook and Taehyung along with five other guys enrolled into an idol agency about a year and some time ago. Though it was surprising, the director postponed some other idols' debutes and decided to debute them first as a boy group named 'BTS'. Their first song was released a few months ago and though it wasn't on big scale, the response was good."

Eun Bi was astonished yet very glad to hear that. She asked Eun Byul to show her their first song. But before that, Eun Byul wanted to show her the live of their fanmeet that was ongoing at the current time.

To much of their surprise, they saw that the fanmeet was cancelled and even that was an hour ago. Confused, Eun Byul tried to reach Taehyung and Jungkook but none of them seemed to be picking up her calls.

"Where are those troublesome guys now?" Eun Byul said in an annoyed tone, gritting her teeth.

Eun Bi who was sitting beside her chuckled. Even though the pain of being in coma for two years kept aching her heart as bitter truth, she was glad, very glad, to see her Unnie acting like herself again.

Eun Byul was still on her phone and Eun Bi was looking at the sleeping frame of her mother with a smile on her face when the door of their hospital room slid open and stood there two boys, sweaty and panting.

"Yo-You guys?!" Eun Byul asked in surprise, wearing the same astounded expression as Eun Bi. But the two boys gave no mind to Eun Byul as they rushed over and engulfed Eun Bi in a hug, pushing Eun Byul off of the bed in the process who fell down and threatened to kill them for knocking her over but the two couldn't care less.

Eun Bi who was surprised beyond words remained frozen for a second before eventually returning the hug.

Eun Byul, instead of trying to ruin the moment, remained silent as she stood up, looking at the bunch from which were now emitting the sound of a certain someone's sniffs_ Jungkook's to be exact.

"Okay, that's enough. Enough hugging her with your dirty sweaty bodies," Eun Byul said as she pulled the both of them back, Jungkook covering his face the very moment.

"Aww, look at this shy bunny~~" Taehyung cooed in a high pitched voice as he nudged Jungkook.

"Come on~~ Let us see your tears, sweetheart," Eun Byul, following Taehyung, said in the same voice with the same expression.

Eun Bi watched them, a feeling of happiness washing over every inch of her being at seeing the people she love so much in front of her. The feeling of contentment she felt could not be understood by anyone else because of the fact that even though she was in coma, these people never left her side and were still the same. At this moment, she didn't wanted their sympathy but them being normal.

Night had came by and with it came cold. Winter was just starting but the nights of Seoul were already quite chilly.

On the hospital's rooftop, Eun Bi, sitting on her wheelchai stared at the night sky, the remnants of what happened THAT day making her shiver in fear more than the chilly wind.

To her, that was the last thing that happened. She felt like it happened yesterday but two years had already passed. Her heart started aching again and she wanted to cry.

Just then, a hand was placed on her shoulder. Looking back, she saw the reassuring smile of her Unnie who she forgot had been standing behind her all along.

"They're ready," Eun Byul said, pointing behind her.

Behind Eun Byul was not one, not two but a whole bunch of people. Kai and Taehyung were fighting each other as none of the two wanted to cut the onions, Jungkook and Hoseok on the other hand even offered to do each others' work in preparing the stoves. Jimin was busy complaining that his work partner, Hiyori, refused to help set the dishes and crockery as she was engrossed in watching anime. Lastly, Jin was pondering whether to wake Yoongi up and face his wrath or just let him sleep and do his portion of work as well.

Eun Bi, after observing all that was happening looked at her Unnie who was grinning because she was able to escape doing any work by saying 'I'll be with Eun Bi'.

"Thank you, Unnie."

Eun Byul, turning her gaze from the problematic group to her sister, smiled as she replied, "No. Thank YOU. For waking up. For coming back."

"Eun Byul! Eun Bi! Come up! Food is ready!"

With that, the night passed by with the group of youngsters goofing around. Eating barbecue to telling each other ghosts stories, the bunch did everything to ensure that Eun Bi did not felt alone. Seeing her smile and laugh, all of their spirits' were boosted because after all, they've been seeing her lying down on a hospital bed without any movements the past two years.

It was a night everyone wanted to make the best for each other.

"Lee Eun Bi. Lee Eun Bi," feeling someone shake her slightly, Eun Bi slowly opened her eyes.

After the long night, the mattresses and sheets were set up on the roof for a vast sleeping space for the bunch. The hospital had given them permission and were even willing to lend them the sheets. At night, the sleeping order was boys on the right and girls on the left with Eun Bi in between, her Unnie on her right side and Jungkook on the left.

Adjusting her eyes to the lightly lit sky, Eun Bi looked at the face that popped up in her vision. "Jungkook?" she asked, rubbing her eyes as she slowly sat up before looking around. The sleeping order that was established at night existed nowhere now. Hoseok, who was asleep on the far right was now on the far left. Hiyori who was on the far left was knocked over the mattresses by Hoseok who was now asleep in her place. Eun Byul and Taehyung had their fists at each others' faces. The same situation was for everyone else except Yoongi who was sound asleep like a log in the exact same position and place he laid in at night.

"The sun's gonna come out soon. Let's watch it together," Jungkook said, smiling widely at the girl who was yet looking around.

Turning her gaze to the smiling boy, Eun Bi asked, "Sunrise?"

Jungkook nodded, "Yup, sunrise."

"... Okay, sure," Eun Bi replied, a smile forming on her face as she was helped up by Jungkook to her wheelchair.

It had been a few minutes of silence between the two who stood at a fair distance from the sleeping bunch, staring at the sky which was slowly but definitely becoming brighter.

"What happened after I fell?" Eun Bi asked and even though it was a simple question, it took her a few minutes to muster up the courage to ask. Jungkook, who was standing behind her, smiled sadly. He knew that she had been struggling to ask it but still he waited patiently so she could prepare herself instead of just trying to shove facts in her face.

He took a deep breath before starting, "After you fell... I was in such a shock that my mind went blank. I don't know what happened for a minutes but all I could remember was the fact that I called over Jimin hyung and Hoseok hyung who found you on the floor and called the police and ambulance. After that, you went through a surgery but because you had lost a lot of blood, the results of the surgery were average. A week passed and you didn't woke up. After a month, your mom was given the permit to transfer you to a Korean hospital by an air ambulance. So, along with you, your mom and Eun Byul, me, my parents who have delayed our flights as well as Hoseok hyung came to Korea-"

"What about Jay?" Eun Bi asked, cutting Jungkook off.

"Jay was confirmed to be mentally ill and was sent to a mental asylum. Hyeri was the one who informed us- Oh! And she also was the one who paid ALL of your hospital bills the past two years."

Eun Bi gasped in shock, turning around to face Jungkook, "Really?"

"Yeah," Jungkook replied with a smile.

Returning the smile, Eun Bi turned back, "What about you?"

"Me? What about me?" Jungkook asked, pointing at his chest.

"I mean- What did you do for the past two years?"

"Me... Well, nothing much I guess. I just studied and rehearsed."

"That's all?" Eun Bi asked, turning around as a smirk formed on her face, "What about a girlfriend? Since you're famous now, you must have one," she said, and evilish grin on her face.

"O-Of course not!" Jungkook retorded, stuttering in embarrassment, "I couldn't just go and get a girlfriend while you were..." he trailed off, his gaze falling to the ground.

Eun Bi's smirk faded before she turned back, "Do you... pity me?"

At her words, Jungkook walked up from behind her to in front of her before kneeling down on the floor, "That's not it!" he exclaimed, grabbing Eun Bi's hands which were cold.

Eun Bi remained silent, her blank gaze at her lap, "I think... I deserve what happened to me."

"Eun Bi..." Jungkook trailed off, the grip of his hands tightening around hers.

"For what I did to Unnie, Taehyung... and you," Eun Bi said, a sad smile forming on her face as a tear rolled down her eye, "I deserved it-"

"That's wrong!" Jungkook yelled, standing up, "Why are you saying things like that? All of us makes mistakes but none of us deserve to be treated the way you were. No one blames you for anything, Eun Bi."

"I know they don't," Eun Bi said, wiping away her tear as she looked up at Jungkook with a smile, "That is why this time, I will make sure not to hurt them!" she said in a determined manner as she held up her fists.

Jungkook chuckled, "That's right. This is why I like Eun Bi."

"Wha-" Eun Bi looked at Jungkook who was standing with a smile, his hands intertwined behind his back, "What are you saying, you fool? Don't tease me," she said, looking away from him as she crossed her arms.

"I'm not teasing you. I just..." Jungkook trailed off, putting his hands on the wheelchairs arms as he leaned forward, "Really like you."

Eun Bi gasped in shock, looking at the smiling face that was inches away from hers, "Y-You're joking, right? I know you're going to say that it's a joke."

Jungkook sighed as he backed away, standing straight as he crossed his arms, "How many times do I have to say it for you to understand? I'm already so embarrassed," he said rubbing the back of his neck as Eun Bi noticed how red his ears had gotten, "Right! Earlier, you asked my why I didn't had a girlfriend?"

"Wh-What about it?"

"The reason I didn't got a girlfriend is because I like you so..." Jungkook trailed off as he took a deep breath, stuffing his hand inside his pockets, "Would you be my girlfriend?"

There was a pause between the two as the sun slowly rose in the sky behind them, it's mild yet bright waves hitting the two as their hair slowly danced in the passing by wind.

"O... Of course,"  Eun Bi said in a low voice while fiddling with her fingers.

"Hm? What was that? I didn't get it," Jungkook said, moving his ear closer to her with a secret smile on his face.

"AND THIS IS HOW ONE TURNS THE TABLES! FROM PREVIOUS EUN BI THE MOCKER, THIS SHOW HAS TURNED THE PREY TO BE THE HUNTER AS JUNGKOOK TAKES THE ROLE OF BEING THE MOCKER!!"

Turning their heads towards the previous sleeping bunch, they saw that all of them except Hiyori and Suga were clustered together while watching them like a family watching a tv show.

"You guys!" Eun Bi and Jungkook both yelled in unison, their faces flushing with embarrassment.

"M-My cute little sister," Eun Byul said, faking tears as she held out her arm towards Eun Bi.

"Don't act like a mother sending her children off to school's first day," Taehyung said, shaking his head in denial while looking at Eun Byul.

"Congrats!" Hoseok, Jimin and Kai said while giving Eun Bi and Jungkook a round of applause, "That ending was amazing though it was a bit cringe and cliche."

"You guys, don't act like it was a TV show," Jin said as he stood up while stretching his arms out, "Let's head down for breakfast."

"Yes!" everyone said in unison as they all stood up. As some of them played rock-paper-scissors to determine who would wake Yoongi up, the others helped gather the mattresses and sheets. Meanwhile, Eun Byul and Taehyung called Eun Bi and Jungkook over to show them a funny thing which was actually them turning the sleepy Hiyori into a burrito by rolling her around in the sheets.

As they did so, they laughed happily. Finally, they were together and they were happy.

The troubles- Double troubles which followed these four were finally over.
