"Alright, Miss Han. It looks like your shoulder is healed up and ready to go."

You smiled at your doctor snd stood up. "Thank you, Doctor."

"No problem, Minji. Take care of yourself."

"You too."

You left his office and went into the lobby, where Juyeon was waiting for you. He came with you since Jacob couldn't.

"Coffee?"

"Yes, please." You sighed. "I'm paying."

"Nope."

"Yes?"

"Minji," Juyeon held the door open for you. "I call dibs on paying."

You gasped. "How rude. You called dibs!"

"That's how you win in life." Juyeon grinned triumphantly.

You got to his car and quickly got in. You were super thirsty for some reason, and you needed a boost of energy. On the way to the coffee shop, Juyeon turned down his radio and glanced at you.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Always."

"Has anyone told you about Sumin?"

You looked up at him with furrowed eyebrows. "No."

"Oh," he sighed. "I guess I'll tell you then. She went abroad two years ago to France and she's coming back to school today. I really thought someone would tell you since she used to bully Jacob, Eric, and Changmin."

"Bully?"

He nodded, his eyes on the road. "She used to take pictures of them at lunch and post them on her Twitter with rude captions. She'd leave gross stuff in their lockers. She stuck gum in Eric's hair once and he had to cut a bunch of it. There's a lot more, and it gets a lot worse."

You bit your lip anxiously. If she continued to try and bully them, you wanted to stick up for them, but you knew that they might get embarrassed. From your own experience when Hyunjoon tried to always stick up for you, he made you feel a bit helpless. You didn't want to make them feel like that. You also couldn't stand by and watch them get hurt, either.

"Thank you for telling me, Juyeon."

"You're welcome." He smiled weakly. "Also, she's really violent. Worse than Emiko was."

"That's super awesome."

He chuckled at your sarcasm. "Don't worry, Minji. We have your back, and we have the guys' back too."

"Do you think she's already here?" You asked Juyeon as you walked towards the school.

He looked around the parking lot and rolled his eyes. "Yeah, she's here. That's her purple mustang over there."

"Gross." You mumbled.

He hummed in agreement with you as you walked through the doors of the school. You sipped on your coffee as you walked down the hallway, and when you turned the corner to go left, you stopped sipping on your coffee. Eric was all by himself, standing in front of a slender, mean looking girl with dyed red hair.

"Is that Sumin?" You asked.

"Yeah."

Eric wasn't weak at all, in fact he was very capable of himself; you had seen him handle his business before. Yet, he still looked bothered and uncomfortable. It made you wonder what she did to him that made him so nervous.

She reached up to his hair and he moved away from her, then she grabbed his collar snd shoved him into the locker. You chuckled out a scoff and walked over to them.

You grabbed Eric's hand to pull him away from her and got in front of him. "What's your deal?"

"It's none of your concern," she paused and looked you up and down. "Whoever you are."

You looked back at Eric and noticed that he was still holding your hand. Something scared him really bad, and it honestly made you want to punch Sumin in the nose.

"Can you get out of my way?" She bit.

You laughed at her. "No?"

You started pushing Eric towards Juyeon and walked away from her. You were surprised she didn't chase the two of you down. He was still holding your hand, so you held your coffee up to him. He took a sip and quietly thanked you.

"Are you okay?" Juyeon asked.

"I think so," Eric nodded. "I completely forgot that she was coming back today."

You noticed a look they gave each other, but you decided to ignore it. It was probably something you didn't need to know about, so you decided not to push it.

You were on the rooftop again, laying down with your head on your backpack. You were trying to think of ways to help Eric, Changmin, and Jacob without overstepping their boundaries, but you couldn't think straight.

You were so scared that Jaesang would pull something and now you had Sumin to worry about.

You kept thinking about how she was bothering Eric earlier that morning, and how Juyeon didn't even try to step in. You thought maybe he didn't want to embarrass Eric the way Hyunjoon used to embarrass you, but you felt like that wasn't the case. The look the two gave each other was something different.

You sighed and shut your eyes. You were starting to get a headache.

Part of you wished that you stayed in L.A. this whole time. Your shoulder wouldn't have been fractured, you wouldn't have been harassed by Jaesang, Trick wouldn't have died, and you wouldn't know of Sumin's existence.

But you met Jacob and the guys in the process, you made up with Emiko, your circus was more successful than ever, you adopted Bug, and you knew that if you went back to L.A. now, you'd be miserable. You'd have no friends, no one to keep you safe when you needed them, no puppy to cuddle with at night.

Your happiness was starting to blur, and you didn't really know what to do.

You got up and decided it was time to go home. You walked out of the entrance downstairs and turned the corner of the building, but stopped when you saw Sumin's bright red hair.

You leaned against the wall and watched how the guys interacted with her. As she was pushing Jacob around, mouthing off to Changmin, and getting under Eric's skin, none of the guys intervened. That made you angry, to say the least.

Not even Sangyeon jumped in, and he was normally the one who acted as an older brother. It didn't take much for his protective mode to come on.

Sumin walked away, and you caught eyes with her. You made sure to give her a look, but she just flipped her hair and went off to her ugly, purple mustang. You walked over to your bike and held your hand out in a questioning manner.

"None of you stepped in, because?"

"It's complicated-"

"Telling her to shut her mouth is complicated?" You cut Hyunjae off. "Why is that complicated?"

"Her dad is the principal." Chanhee told you.

You shrugged. "Wow, good for her?"

"We could get expelled if she doesn't get her way." Eric said.

"So you let yourself get stepped on and watch her push your friends around? That makes a lot of sense." You bit. This was the first time you got genuinely angry with them. "I would get expelled if it meant standing up for one of my best friends. The more you let her do that, the more her ridiculous superiority complex is going to grow. Do you know what that means?"

They shook their heads. "It means that she'll push your buttons until you can't take it anymore. Who cares if her dad is the principal? Clearly he needs to get his head on straight and get his daughter under control."

You started your motorcycle and got on it.

"Are you mad?" Haknyeon asked.

"I'm extremely disappointed."

And you left. You left them there to think, to feel guilty. They knew why you were upset, but now they'd be walking on eggshells around you, trying not to make you angry again.

"That was scary." Changmin whispered.

"I like when she gets angry." Sunwoo said as he looked at his shoes. Jacob slapped his arm and made a "really?" face. "Only because we can learn from her. She only gets mad at things that are important to get mad about. She's right, we should've said something to Sumin. If we had put our own needs aside two years ago, the three of you probably wouldn't have been bullied as severely as you were. We just let it happen, and Minji doesn't put up with stuff like that."

He started walking towards his car. "We shouldn't let it slide, either."
